7/25/24 I was overcharged for my meal. I contacted customer service via email the same day. I submitted screenshots of the purchase amount, the app showing my exact order & location, and a copy of the debited transaction from my bank account. It is now 8/12/24 and I still have yet to receive my refund. I have been given the run around since then. This is the absolute WORST customer service ever. I contacted McDonald’s again on 8/10/24 and was given BS promises claiming a supervisor was NOT available (per usual) and I would receive a call by Monday, 8/12/24. I have not received 1 phone call to date. I called back on 8/12/24 and was on hold for over an hour attempting to speak directly with a supervisor. I was lied to by 3 different representatives, hung up on, and even transferred to a customer survey! Everything EXCEPT what I asked 7 times for! Absolutely ridiculous! I should NOT have to demand to speak to a Supervisor 7 TIMES, be placed on hold for over an HOUR, and transferred all around the world ONLY TO BE TOLD THE SAME BS & LIES WITH NO RESOLUTION!
The last representative who lied to me was named Moy, located in the Philippines. He had no customer service skills, over-talked me, and basically read from a script! He verified my telephone number 3 times and claimed again a supervisor would call me because obviously they were “not available, in a meeting, just left, on vacation, gone for the day”. He used every lie he could think of but couldn’t tell me what supervisor would call or provide their names, or EXACTLY “when they would call me”. JUST PLAIN PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from a company who doesn’t value their customers!
Initially I just wanted the difference BUT after how I have been treated, I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK! They have surely LOST a customer and I will also inform all of my friends, relatives, colleagues, and followers, EXACTLY how McDonald’s treats their customers and how much of a JOKE they really are!
