Home Depot

oday I went to the Home Depot on Wendover Avenue in Greensboro. My plan was to purchase a storm door, 4 lighting fixtures and numerous plants for a landscaping area. I went first to the storm doors and immediately found what I wanted. I needed help with getting the door to the cart. I stopped an employee walking by who stated "that's not my department, I'm in gardening. You need to go to the service desk". I called the store courtesy desk from my phone because honestly I didn't want to walk all the way up there. I was told someone would be right there. 15 minutes later I saw another employee walking the isle and asked for help. Again I was told "that's not my area, the courtesy desk can page someone for you." So again I called the desk from where I stood at the doors. Lady told me someone would be right there. 20 minutes later I walked out. Pathetic customer service. I drove right down the road and bought everything I needed with immediate help from employees who even though it "wasn't their department " were happy to help a customer. Lowe's Home Improvement was the recipient of my $1, 000+ spent today.

I suggest Home Depot re-train your employees. Team work and customer service is not their specialty.

In my newly renovated kitchen I will need a full appliance package. It won't be coming from Home Depot.
