On March 9th I placed an online order. I requested no replacement on some items if they didn't have the ones I specifically wanted. I got two replacements. Instead of Food Lion Greek yogurt, they gave me Chobani. Instead of Silk Next milk they gave me Cobani Oatmeal milk. The difference in cost may not be significant to some but I am working with a very limited budget. After placing my complaint online I received an email with a number to Instacart. Food Lion to Go is "powered by Instacart" but they claimed they have no record of my order and gave me a toll-free number to Food Lion Customer Service. Food Lion Customer Service told me that there is no way the shoppers could have made the replacements when I had not authorized them. That is WRONG! They did make the replacements. I ended up calling the local store and they said to just bring the items in. There is a big problem if Instacart and Food Lion to go are connected but their systems aren't. I also had difficulty understanding the customer service people who both had some difficulty with English. They sounded like they were from India.
Desired outcome: I want them to be honest about what they are doing. The shoppers should not be substituting higher priced products.
