Food Lion review: To Go 1

While delivering for Instacart today 9/30/24 at about 2:04pm I pulled in and starting calling the Food Lion to go phone. I contacted that number 7 times received the same message each time stating the associate was busy and it automatically hangs up. I am on a time limit so I started calling to speak with someone at Customer Service and I had to call 4 times to get an answer. The female associate stated their Food Lion to go phone is turned off so phone calls can not come in. This is very poor service and training on the Managers part and each associate working in this department. I am a Food Lion Associate in another location in Virginia and I also have worked for Food Lion since 2018 and 3 of those years I’ve worked as a Food Lion to go associate that is why working for Instacart outside of my regular schedule is easy and convenient. Our store would never allow such poor service to happen. I have notified the customer “Christina C” order number 661 and I will be contacting Instacart about this issue. Also, the female associate also told me all items are not tagged in the order which leaves too much room for error on orders specially for Instacart delivery drivers.
