The CVS pharmacy in Pequannock on Newark Pompton Tpke is horrible! When you go to pick up medication you wait a minimum of 15 minutes whether it's drive thru or inside. Today (9/12/23) I tried calling because my medication says it's on hold, it is a steroidal cream I tell you this because if they don't have it, I would have called the Dr's office, or a normal pharmacy would have called one of the other CVS pharmacies in the area to see if they had it. I am assuming they don't have it in stock and that's what that means. I called and was on hold for 15 minutes, so I called back asked for the manager I got the operational manager and was told the manager was unloading trucks. She put me on hold the manager got on the phone with an attitude told me to hold on and transferred me to pharmacy. I waited and after 8 minutes I hung up called the manager back was on hold 5 minutes and someone picked the phone up and hung up in my ear. I called back and he proceeded to tell me they had 2 people out with covid and were shorthanded I said I have been at this for 45 minutes. He just told me to call back in half an hour and he would try to get someone to answer me by then it will be too late to call the Dr. or do anything about it.
Desired outcome: Train the manager's about customer service. Get more employees or train the ones that work there to work a little faster. If people are out sick, can't you get workers from other stores?
