I brought my car in to check the brakes and change my oil. The store manager Tom, in Ramsey, NJ called me and said best case scenario $1297 worst case scenario is $1597 if I have to do 2 calipers. I will try to do one. Guy calls me and tells me my car is ready they had to only 1 caliper and the total is $1897.
I said how could this be, you quoted me these 2 prices and he said let me look and then said Oh its $1678. I said how could that be when you quoted me so different on the phone. I wrote it down. So when we got to pick up my car, Tom ws not there and I said I wanted to know how I got 3 different prices. So he calls Tom on the phone, I said what's going on, this is what you quoted me.
He started yelling at me, that's not what I said and hung up on me. The useless person behind the counter would not give us Tom's last name.
We have been long time customers, my son goes there. Well not anymore,
Mavis Tire is a rip off. I will tell all of my friends about this horrendous experience and the nastiness of a store manager. I was director of customer service for a big jewelry company and our managers were fired if they displayed any of this with a customer.
This was a total rip off and I want the difference of $500 back.
Mavis has lost me and my family as a customer and I will file a complaint with the better business bureau.
If this is how your business runs you are going to lose many many customers.

Desired outcome: I want the price I was quoted and an apology from the store manager
