Below is just brief communication I had with the REG. Mgr. Ms. Sherry Lantz. Last contact was 9-11-24 via phone at 9am. At this time, she apologized and said she is the top person to address the complaint and per my email I sent 6-30-24 she agreed to reimburse me with the $1539.38 in cash or an agreeable higher amount in services or purchase in tires.
She agreed to send an email confirmation .. but as of yet she has sent nothing. My family has used the services art NTB for years at numerous; locations and in past great service...but this has been a nightmare.
I need to see results quick.

I first take this opportunity thank MS. Sherry for addressing my issues pertaining to services provided at your NTB in Covington. The purpose of this email is to identify damages incurred due to poor judgement on part of local expert. These include but not limited to: Over 45 days to finally repair and replace rotors { Max 1.5 hour Job}; Stress due to contact and confused performance by NTB Team locally; Over 9 unnecessary round trip trips to correct issue; Delay of repair over 45 days; Paying $992.93 for a Steering service not required and not necessary.
Please note I have over six cars in my immediate family and local relatives have retained your services for many years in LA. and in other states. My personal most recent visit to NTB other than the one this MAY was in May of 2023 for brakes. I paid at that time over $1000 at your Hammond store. We appreciate NTB and the reps at the Covington Store. Many of the team in Covington have been there for years and well liked. In my opinion what I experienced regarding the issue at hand is unique and out of character regarding the local team. I personally believe that this fiasco occurred due to stress with new ownership, no manager and heavy workload. I do sincerely hope my complaint does not affect these employees but helps to improve the NTB performance and reputation.
Following is a brief history pertaining to the issue with Tires shaking:
a. Sunday 5-12-24: I arrive at 10:25am and told Rep I don’t know the problem cause but wondering an issue with my tires. They inspected and advised my tires are their top brand which I bought from them .. up to 100,000-mile life and not the brakes which were done at another NTB location in MAY 2023, but the problem is my STEERING System. They said they have an expert on board and can handle. I was directed to bring the H-2 back on Tuesday 5-14-24 as that is when the expert is on job. See EXHIBIT #1
b. Tuesday 5-14-24: I Picked up H-2. Told all fixed. I paid $992.93 with my Military Vet Discount. See EXHIBIT#2 Within 15 minutes after I left your store, I noticed the tires were shaking. I called the store and told to bring in Friday 5-17-24.
c. Thursday 5-16-24: I dropped car off in the afternoon so they could get right on it Friday am. They said expert will fix Friday.
d. Friday 5-17-24: I arrived at store close to 5pm to pick up the H-2 but told very busy and come back Saturday.
e. Saturday 5-18-24: When came to get it again told too busy.. But female employee at desk said I should have never brought to them for Steering, and I should have brought to a GM dealer. Luke came out of SHOP Area yelling and said it will be fixed on Sunday and I can get it then.
f. Sunday 5-19-24: I picked up the H-2 Said did Steering Wheel See EXHIBIT #3
g. Wednesday 5-22-25: It was no question to me that what I came in to fix on 5-12-24 was not fixed and worse .. Real heavy wheels shaking and now steering wheel not only off center but shaking bad.
h. Saturday 5-25-25: I call your Corp HQ
i. I was later advised by SHERRY that they are assigning a Manager for this store. Marlan. Sherry will advise Marlan on problem. She further advised Marlan will be available to fix the H-2 and for me to meet him and her on Friday 6-28-24 at 4pm or earlier as she will have left by then.
j. Friday 6-28-24: I arrived at 3:45pm. Marlan greeted me, and we discussed the specifics. Marlon looked at vehicle briefly and did a test drive and stated problem was not with Steering System but the brakes; and I can come by Saturday 6-29-24 to get it picked up.
k. Saturday 6-29-24: Marlan called close to 10am and said vehicle fixed. I came by later and test drove and all good. Marlan did notice a leak in one shock and gave me estimate that I can address later.
Based on above I respectfully believe I am entitled because of the following costs a Credit or Reimbursement in cash is in order:
Service Performed by Marlan with Discount: Fixed Rotors: Cost $147 { with military discount}
Steering Replacement Costs: $992.93 Note Confirmed by Marlan this was not required and had nothing to do with the Shake of Tires.
Over 9 round trips at over 115 miles per trip 1035 miles @.67 mile { Govn’t Standard Reimbursement} $693.45 = $1686.38

In closing want to thank Sherry, Marlan, and Team on getting my vehicle fixed reference the initial reason for my visit. I have no idea what is fair compensation for all my time and frustrations but I leave that in your hands. Please provide full settlement to me within thirty days of receipt of this email.
