Unfortunately I discovered after 3 weeks that my usual pharmacy has shorted me again in regards to my pill count of my monthly pain medication. The 1st time was easy to find out since they shorted me nearly half of my medication of Carisoprodol (generic SOMA). The most recent event of pill shortage was only just discovered when it came time to fill my daily pill holder for my 3rd of 4 weeks. Presumably too late to report the shortage at the pharmacy to gather the difference. I sent them an Email about this issue of missing Oxycodones approximately 25-30 of 120ct. and Carisoprodol about 15-20 of 90ct. Too small an amount to be instantly noticable like the previous shortage several months ago, but I am very upset about this and refuse to use Walgreens anymore. I would be willing to "testify" should any further actions require. Thank You, Walter Becker
Obviously...and Neither do I since I am now using a local, friendlier and less expensive Pharmacy now...I should thank Walgreens for their dishonesty, for if it weren't for this issue, I may have never switched!
that is completely false! you are ignorant towards the situation and do not deserve to place such a biased opinion about the issue I had with the pharmacy! I KNOW HOW TO COUNT!
Walgreens - computer illiterate pharmacist
I have been trying to get a simple prescription for Androgel filled for the past 2 weeks now, but the pharmacist there is so computer illiterate that they jacked up the paperwork and caused my insurance company to deny payment for it. Instead of asking my doctor to call my insurance company to get "prior authorization" he asked for a refill instead. I already had a refill but now there is a second one, and then a third and who knows how many have been entered in by now by this nut. When I called to complain about this, a pharmacist said that I just didn't "understand" her explanation of the problem because I was on so much medication and that it was making me confused. I was asking the sociopath to fix my prescription, not to give me her version of why it wasn't her fault. Plus, I could really do with out the insults. The worst part is that my doctor said they have never had any contact with this pharmacist over the matter, so I figure she is just insane. I called the Walgreens corporate office and they are looking into it. Is this something I could win a lawsuit over?
I just spoke to the Walgreens pharmacy manager at that store and he verified that mistakes were made by his store as well as my doctor's office, simple clerical mistakes because of people rushing and not taking the time to read anything. Scary. This isn't McDonalds here, I'm not talking about too much ketchup on my burger, this isn't the place for people to not pay attention.
As Tired_of_Stupid said, if only we could sue people for being stupid... Is it just me, or wouldn't you think that pharmacies would have better information handling than this in 2010? I mean, did we go into some kind of backward time warp where oil companies drill in the ocean with no safeguards, banks gamble all our money away, and pharmacies don't read doctor's messages...
Now, I'll be the first to agree that pharmacists are under alot of stress, probably more so than many other professions, but when you decide to take the job, and the heat that comes with it, you can't take it out on the customers. The incurable spreading neuropathy that I have is painful enough without having to suffer insults from a Walgreens pharmacist.

Omg. USUAL pharmacy shorts control med. Narcotics. Yet innocent and trusting Mr Pecker uses their services again! Only to be cheated AGAIN! Do these people have any idea how stupid they appear to be. Fortunately, to prevent any criminal behavior that may affect other fine customers, Pecker is willing to "testify". Why do I torment myself reading crap from ###ic complainers like this? Because, I can laugh through my tears in peace at home, no phone ringing, no fool staring at me in rage as I try to work, no interruptions regarding the location of something not REMOTELY related to my job. So I can face another day with it.
