My 73 yr old spouse Karen Goodin was treated at urgent care/Pahrump, Nv. for a fall on 1/29/24 at 12:45 pm and was told by Ashley Juste NP-C after looking at an x-ray of her left arm that she had a fractured Ulna and was placed in a temp cast. On Mon. Feb 5th I took her to Las Vegas Concierge Orthopedics Dr. Carr and was told that her arm was NOT broken and removed the temporary cast and sent her home. I have tried to contact Ashley Juste with no luck. Karen is disabled, has to walk with a cane due to bad knees and has breathing issues and being immobilized for seven days due to a misdiagnosis only added to her condition and quality of life. I'm sure our insurance company (Humana) will be billed as well as several third party providers. I am her husband Frank and am on her HIPPA list. Since the 5th of Feb she has been doing exercises to regain strength in the arm that was immobilized not to mention the added stress.
Claimed loss: Financial loss of approximately $750. had to cancel several appointments,could not drive,two round trips from Pahrump to Las Vegas,inability to sleep,stressed through the roof. Not to mention the pressure on me in assisting her.
Desired outcome: She would like to be compensated for the inconvenience and the pain and suffering as well as an apology from Ashley Juste and to be assured she will try for it not happen to anyone else in the future
