MobilityWorks - poor service / attitude

Took van for PM, Preventative Maintenance, and upon return home the van door/lift would not work. Back down two weeks later to find that wires had pulled apart. Service Manager stated it's a common problem and could be fixed temporarily. He said best to have the wire harness replaced. So back down two weeks later for the install. Keep in mind, two hours down and two hours back. Come home, $500 poorer, and find the van door stutters and opens slowly. Ramp does not extend. Call and, yes irate, tell the service manager to send someone to my house to pick up the van. Has to wait for GM to make that call but asks me, "What do you want me to do?" . How about FIX IT RIGHT!

Stay tuned. BTW, asked credit card company to deny the charge.

Took it for PM (Preventative Maintenance) and when I returned home the lift/door didn't work. Went back down two weeks later and they showed me wires that had come undone. The Service Manager said we can temporarily fix it but it would be best to install a new wiring harness. So back down two weeks later to install that. Keep in mind, it's two hours down and two hours back. So $500 later, the first time we go to use the lift the door stutters and struggles to open. The lift won't budge. I cancel the credit card payment and call the service manager. Yes, I was irate and said they'd have to come pick up the van and get it fixed. He actually said, "What do you want me to do?" HOW ABOUT FIXING IT RIGHT?

Stay tuned for an update. The GM of this location is the only one who can make the call about the pickup. Amazing how it was no trouble for sales to come out to the house.
