I have been a customer for many years. The tellers ate nothing short of wonderful. The manager is not helpful and I feel her judgement is off. I had fraudulent activity on a stolen Venmo Mastercard card attached to my checking account. I caught the 2 charges and reported it as well as reported the card as stolen. I did not have the funds in my checking account to cover the fraudulent charges made with the Venmo card so I incurred 2 Overdraft fees. In spite of disconnecting the Venmo card from that checking account and notifying Woodforest of the problem, several days later I incurred a 2nd set of overdraft fees! I was informed that the only way to stop this was to do a non reversible stop payment against Venmo. Turns out this was not correct. While Venmo is handling the dispute over the fraudulent charges, Woodforest has charged me $116 in overdraft fees. I cannot get the manager of my branch in person or over the phone. I requested a call back. I didn't receive one. I called in again and spoke to a kind teller that said"the manager reviewed my account and decided not to refund the fees." When asked why she said it's at the managers discretion. I called customer service and after a lengthy hold was also told it's at the branch managers discretion as to return fees or not. These fees were a result of fraudulent activity and I have proof of this. How can this be good business? I will be closing my account.
I did receive a phone call from Woodforest national Bank as a direct result of this complaint. Shelly took my complaints and concerns seriously and promptly corrected the issue. As a result I will keep my account open . I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.

I received an email a text message and a phone call directly from Woodforest national Bank expressing their interest in correcting the problems that I had at my local branch. They reversed the stop payment, and returned the fee for that. They reversed the overdraft fees. I am satisfied with the outcome.
