Yes first off I have researched all labor laws and payrol laws and I’ve researched how creating a hostile work enviroment is against the law. Your owner operator Jennifer Uphold has been illegally deducting uniform pay out of employees who she has let go paychecks as well as deducting cash drawer shortages out of peoples payrol checks and she also has treated some employees and managers good while she singles out certain other employees and she talks about them she makes comments about their mentality and how they annoy her. She is constinitlt screaming and yelling and demeaning one of her managers in front of other employees and then Evan threatened to deduct $2”0.00 from her check because a guy showed up with paper work saying he was there to bolt the safe down and she tried to reach out to Jennifer and Jennifer didn’t answer her phone not text messages and then said because the company was going to charge her $200.00 to fix it that she was taking it out of the managers check. That is so illegal. She has repeatly accused this manager of luring and when the manager send screen shots of the proof that she’s not lieing Jennifer doesn’t Evan apologize she just constantly keeps coming at this manager and it’s not right. This is a everyday thing. Then one day she was upset and she went to this manager and said why don’t you have your hat. The manager said I’m so sorry but I was running behind and I left it on my counter. Jennifer then screams your a freaking manager in front of everyone and then another manager Giovanni Kearse came in and she had in sweat pants and t [censored]t and knit hat nothing was Culvers brand and she waits two hours and puts her arm around this manager and says now hun you need your uniform d do you have a change if cloths in your car. This was utterly wrong. This manager she keeps doing this to does not get any days off she works seven days a week getting 65 to 70 hours a week. She is exhausted and she works really hard doing her job. If Jennifer says something’s not right she fixes it. How she is treated is discrimination and is illugal. It’s a hostile work enviroment and if something isn’t done I’m filling a complaint with the labor board and the Eeoc. This is unacceptable for an owner and so wrong and all her reactions and what she does is illigal. It’s so not right how she treat some of her managers who are always late calling in on their phones and not doing their job. The disrespect stsff and are very rude to staff and Jennifer treats them like angels. Employees have cinstintly complained about managers like Giovanni Kearse and she does nothing. Then she’s got a 19 year old manager who has no manager experiance messing with a 15 year old was arrested and charged with vac 3rd degree and she litterly told the father of the 15yr old girl she didn’t believe the girl that Landon claims he didn’t know she was 15 which is so untrue because he sent this girl home plenty of night at 7pm because of labor laws do he knew. She told the father she would not let Landon Shepard go. Is up there right now working with the 14 and 15 ur olds and that’s illigal bc of his charge. They had sex multiple occasions on that Culvers property. This is unacceptable. She is not a hood owner and needs to have her franchise yanked from her and she needs to be investigated big time. She’s suppose to be working 42 hours a week and this woman is hardly Evan there when she is there she’s yelling at her manager Carrie bustamante who works every single day and does her job and has had nothing but good reviews from customers and employee and she gets treated like dirt. This needs to be taking care of immidiately or I’m going to help these people whose she done wrong file complaints and a law suit against your company for discrimination and taking peoples money. Also there’s another incident I witnessed one day there was these two employees one was Ladonna Tolbert and the other was Ciara Murray and both were working drive thru this day. And literally Ladonna was on her phone for ten minutes while Ciara was on her phone off and on and when Ladonna got her check it was missing 69.78 and do Ladonna had her mom contact Jennifer to ask her why and she said I’m not paying people to be on their phone. She deducted for Ladonna being on her phone for ten minute and did not deduct from Ciara paycheck. That was so wrong. Then Ladonna called and texted Jennifer on this other day and said my tire is half flat. I have no money to put air in it or fix it and I’ve got to wait for my paycheck to go in so I can go by the tire place. Jennifer literally said why can’t you go to qt it’s free and Ladonna told her number one I’m in bc Pauline snd it’s a 30 min drive to Duncan and qt is past your Restaraunt. It’s dangerous to drive all that way. And then the next morning Jennifer asked Carrie where is Ladonna and she said y’all talked about this yesterday and she told you she would be late and Jennifer said oh we’re fixings to have issues we’ll Carrie called her daughter and said you need to go ahead and find a way to get her because Jennifer is in one of her moods. So Ladonna said freak it I’ll just drive on a flat tire. So Ladonna drove all the way from Pauline to Duncan on a half flat tire. And Jennifer instead of texting Carrie or Ladonna and telling her don’t bother to come in texts Sarina phone s as bc ssys when Ladonna gets there tell her to clock out and go home. Ladonna was so angry that she blovks out and her mom followed her outside and was trying to calm her down bc she didn’t want her daughter driving upset. And Jennifer pulled up and walked up to them and told Carrie to go inside and then told Ladonna you have been late a couple times and then have had an attitude and I’m just going to part ways with you. Ladonna was like I don’t have an attitude except when Giovanni comes at me and disrespects me. But it has never interfered with my work performance and I’ve Evan had hood reviews from customers never a bad review and Jennifer said I’m sorry. And Ladonna was once again fired. This is the third time Ladonna Tolbert has been fired by Jennifer and like her mom she comes in on her days off she knows every position and she does her job well. Many people including Ladonna feels like Jennifer had a problem with her being gay and so does her mom snd other employees. Y’all’s companies has already had several lawsuits for discrimination and other things and I will be a witness and testify on these employees behalf. What’s really messed up about the Ladonna situation is Jen fired her for telling her a day in advance she would be late when other employees like Jaylyn Harris and Ciara Murray and Dominique burgess and Adam Dunn and Bryson booker whose a manager and several others are constantly late every day sometimes by an hour and half and sometimes they wait till the day of and they call in. But their late just about everyday and Jennifer doesn’t do anything to them period. This is discrimination all the way around. Y’all need to step in and do something because several people who have worked for Culvers and current employees are ready to file complaints with the EEOC and labor agency and Culvers corporate office and lawyers against your company and they have legal standing and just cause. You cannot break the law and take peoples money and then fire them for reasons that other employee are doing the same thing and get away with it. This is so wrong. Illigal and I just.
Desired outcome: We want all wages taken out of peoples checks given back. We want Jennifer uphold removes as owner and compensation given to the managers and employees who have been terminated wrongfully and discriminated against.
