Extended Stay America - Invasion of my privacy!

I have been staying here at the extended stay america in greenville sc (530 woods lake rd) for a few days now, the commute to my job from here is exactly 5min. coming in from work 08/22/2021 when I had gotten back to the motel I come to my door to see that it is sitting wide open with all of my personal belongings inside. I went to the front desk to ask Jennifer why was my door wide open I hadn't been here, I did not request house keeping and it isn't time for me to check out. She claims she had no idea while looking very strange then asked her son to walk me to my room to see if anything is missing. at the time I didn't notice anything gone, when I moved my things I noticed 150bucks I had just sitting under my laptop was gone, I'm guessing the laptop was still there because it was locked. I was told by jennifer (employee) that housekeeping had no scheduled rooms to clean on the 1st floor which is where I'm staying.
jennifer then calls the manager (It was very strange as if she knew exactly what was going on, she just had to play her part, she was acting so strange. I decided to walk around while she made the call to her manager and ask a few of the neighbors if they noticed anyone at my door or if they had seen anyone open the door, or even was house keeping on the floor. Everyone that I asked whom I see walking the hallways all day claim to had seen nothing. the one neighbor said she leaves for work at 8:45 at this time my door was still closed so I assume someone came after. I left for work at 7:30 so from I would say about 9am until 4pm when I got off my door had been sitting wide open. And no one knows a thing.! There is only one place to have access to key to enter my room to be able to do so. After gathering this information I went back to the front desk to speak with Jennifer who was working at the time. She is still on the phone with the manager who tells her I would have to wait until the following morning he would have to put some type of machine on the door to see what key was used to enter my room. my reason for saying I feel that jennifer may be involved or knows more, there were other guest walking in NOT needing assistance (looking at me as if they've been all in my room looking around, actually that's how everyone on this floor walks by looking at me now as if they've gone through my things. that is NOT a good feeling) they had a friendly conversation, Jennifer very unprofessionally while looking extremely nervous and caught carried on a conversation about the other guests birthday and how it was, what they were drinking etc. All while I am standing in front of her trying to figure out why my room door had been open. I felt that was not only very rude but Strange considering. she did however move me to a different room for of course safety reasons I wasn't comfortable being in that room knowing someone had another key to get inside. I can't help but feel that Jennifer knows exactly what is going on or maybe even opened the door herself just off of how strangely she was acting. I just don't understand why.? this issue put a complete damper in my day. I'm homeless at the moment, this place is like my home for now and its very unsettling to know that I cant feel comfortable enough to leave my room without worrying about someone opening my door and leaving it sitting wide open. I was so upset I didn't think to take a picture of anything, it is on record and I'm waiting to speak with the manager about it this morning. I am still extremely upset and I feel very very violated.
08/22/2021 I basically paid for this day at the motel to not be comfortable or feel safe but to walk around in my hot work clothes all afternoon hungry trying to figure who had come into my room and why they left the door wide open, I think that's pretty unfair to me. No one should have to come home from work to anything like that by any means.

Desired outcome: an extended stay would be greatly appreciated, I would love my money back. whomever played the part in this action I don't think it's safe (for anyone) to have someone that does that working in that area
