This may not have anything to do with sales or a sales associate but it has to do with the manufacturers that you all use. Mainly just England corsair in new tazewell tn. As of right now my wife works for the company but she is afraid to speak up to anyone because anytime age tries to they shut her down, or threaten her with her job, they won't let her talk to the owners so this is all I know to do. I don't know if they don't do these thikngs while.you all come their, I just think they do a dang good job of hiding it from you. They don't take the employee safety seriously. If someone shoots themselves with a staple or nail gun they tell if they leave and go to a doctor it will be counted against them and they may be fired. To just wrap it in a band aid and go back to work. They never make anyone wear the right ppe unless lay z boy or another big buyer of theirs comes to the plants, my own wife is afraid to miss work even when she is deathly sick because she's afraid their going to fire her or doc her pay which she has been threatened with! There are nu.erous other things going on in those plants out there that no one will, stand up and say anythujng about because if anyone does they get fired or they start treating them like cheap every so how day. Some of the stories my wife tells me are just plain sad. But I will not stand by and just let them continue on with this. The plant manager Carter doesn't even know how to do his job. He just fusses at ya and tells ya to speed up your not going fast, enough, when he doesn't even know how to build any of those pieces of furniture. And the way some.of those lives of furniture are built is very sad! There's no way I would send some of those to the company's like lay z boy for instance that buys from England's. They .ever pass inspection but they send them on anyone just so there won't be slot of overtime! We just don't know what else to do but this. So hopefully someone will help or at least send people at their to actually check things out ask questions talk to the employees without any of the big managers and supervisors around and you will be told the same exact things. Now i don't know about you but I don't believe if I was a company as good as lay z boy I would want my name associated with these people! Sorry about the spelling and things I'm just so upset right now about it I had to try and do something! Thank you for time and have a blessed day.

Taking advantage of the work force, in a smaller area where there are fewer jobs. It's called exploitation. Fear, abuse of TN labor laws. The drive the worker in those places like cattle. Worker safety is ignored, covered up, swept under the rug, obfuscated around by their company attorneys, etc.
Any mention of a Union is met with swift tyranny, and ruthless tactics to keep the workers from standing up against them. I understand what your wife is going through. When I was in my mid 20's I worked for an employer like that once. They were called, the Whirlpool Corporation. They did their best to bust their unions, they were oppressive, they closed their plant in Lavergne, TN. And, it moved to East Tn. now located in Cleveland, TN. They now have no union, and are brutal. It's a very long story I can tell, but no space here.
But, you're wife's employer will keep doing that, as long as Lazy Boy keeps signing the contract. And, as long as they keep making cheap builds, to fits Lazy Boy's "bottom line $" So, that they can keep making a profit, they'll keep being harsh on people, even maiming people for life. And, Lazy Boy will sleep good a night. Lazy Boy will not care, until finally one day something really bad happens that "strikes them down where it hurts." Their Wallets! That's the only thing that get's their attention in the end. They care not about people, or what kind of pain they inflict on others..
Once they grab the payment from the customers, that's when the scam's trap door slams shut!
Have you heard the ole phrase, "Capitalism is Theft" Remember it. Write it down and save it. Our entire system is broken because of it. No matter what you do, it can all be traced to that. No matter how you figure it. It's one big scam in the end.
There's even more angles that you know, that you can't see, that have been figured by smarter people how their squeezing every ounce of sweat, penny's, your life, your health, all that you have so capitalism have keep the 1% on top rich above everyone else.
And they call Socialist bad ? No, on the contrary, they have taught everyone back wards the opposite on a grand scale since before the ending of feudalism, the beginning of the industrial revolution, and the great depression in 1929 when capitalism fell flat on its butt, it socialism that saved everything then. And capitalism has fallen flat now (again), they just don't want folks like us to know it now.
So, yea, Lazy boy know's exactly what's it's doing. They don't care what's being done to those workers. They don't care what' kind of poor quality furniture is being pumped out. Their just going set right down and try to feed garbage down everyone's throat, for as much as they can get away with.
Capitalism is Theft.
