Went in for fuel system tune up, and was quoted originally approximately $350. Was called later that I had faulty gasket and needed replaced. Sales Associate, Jason Tarvin,
and with approval from Manager, Bret Powell, told me that now the bill was at $719.38.
I was shocked and objected at almost double the amount! I agreed reluctantly, and paid for it. After thorough examination of the bill and talking to a reputable mechanic, I discovered that I had been overcharged! The gasket repair should have taken less than 3.20 hrs, (half that time), and since there were 2 gaskets, another should have been replaced. That wasn't done. I need a refund of $207.83 which is half the repair time and sales tax.
$383.97/2 = 191.99 plus sales tax of $15.84. Totals: $207.83.
Also, Bret gave me a quote for further repairs that even included these same repairs, to the amount of $3220.46.
I was shocked again, and have been a faithful customer for years.
I have the bill and estimate that I can email/mail to you.
Please advise ASAP. I also have a NTB credit card.
