I’ve been working for Cracker Barrel for almost a year. Everything was great I always looked forward to going to work but just recently for about the last 5 months I have to either fight with the managers to be put on the schedule or just show up and see who wants to go home so I can get some days. I have another job and ever since I got hired they knew that. My schedule has been given to them a month in advance so that they have enough time to see what I can and cannot work. This was never an issue until 5 months ago. Cracker Barrel isn’t what if you too since the last GM left. This GM and new managers don’t take employees serious at all. Not to mention they have there favorites. If we have a complaint about something they blow us off and they will even tell you that if you don’t like it there’s the door or they threaten your job. I’m not the only employee that feels this way there are others that have talk to me about things they wanted to say but don’t because they don’t want to loose there job. I’ve reached out to corporate and have had no luck getting a response or resolution of things. I’m really sad this is going on and only wanna be able to work without being stressed and knowing that I’ll have my days on the schedule I wish I could speak to someone so that this issue can stop
Cracker Barrel - Problem with server and general manager
I experienced a problem this past Saturday with a Server, James and the General Manager at the El Paso Store. This occurred around 5pm and the place was not that busy. Tried to order 3 chicken tenderloin sandwiches in which CB no longer serves them so we asked for the chicken tenderloin meals and to add 2 slices of sour dough bread. James the serves stated no problem but was over ridden by the GM so we asked to speak to her. She stated now but after my daughter explained
Her request, she stated ok this time only which was a little condescending. We have gone to Cracker Barrels in other States including this store and this has never been an issue, so why now? After all, we ordered the CT Meal, so what is the real issue? James the server was friendly up to that point but immediately changed his demeanor. He became apparently slow with our requests, such as ordering biscuits and forgot the butter, allowing the biscuits to get cold, chicken sandwiches arrive and we had to wait on the lettuce and the chicken got cold, had to ask for drink refills. Names on the bill is McPartland and Busby. We do not intend on returning to this store as it is not worth the hassle. NM is just down the road and the place is run better and the Staff are nicer and we can get CT sandwiches without question. Desired outcome: Remove the bill from my credit Card and from my daughters credit card, names have been included.
