WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLUB THEY ARE THIEVES!
NO LITERALLY, THEY ARE
This club have bunch of criminals running it!
If you cancel your membership, not only will they keep your most recent charge (even if it was charged the same day you want to cancel) they will still charge you for an additional month of membership whether you like it or not.
They have a yearly maintenance fee that if they charge it. They WILL NOT REFUND IT. Even if they charge it today and you cancel tomorrow, they will still keep your money.
They require a credit card and a bank account, this is deliberate. Bank account number charges are harder to dispute (because you literally gave them access to your bank).
I canceled today and will never consider them again.
I am fighting them with my bank and hopefully will get some of the money they stole from me back.
Claimed loss: $76
Desired outcome: Get my money back.
Crunch Fitness - A manager at crunch gym
A few weeks ago the manager Kyle Patterson told my daughter and husband that they could not talk about her body building career and they needed to quit talking about it because it was making people uncomfortable. So we said ok. Then shortly after that one of the female trainers slurred something ugly word in Spanish and it hurt my daughter bad. Also there are men going in see thru pants that you can see his genitals thru the pants. We can talk amongst ourselves because we are also being spied on by some of the management team. It makes it uncomfortable to work out but yet there are people talking about how they had sex the night before with someone.
Desired outcome: To correct the manager and see how he can improve the atmosphere of the gym.
Crunch Fitness - Personal training
My husband is military and we just PCS'd to a new location. We decided once we got settled and at the beginning of the new year we would both sign up for gym memberships. I was also interested in getting a personal trainer. I did the free intro session with the PT manager and she recommended that I do 2 sessions a week for $130. My husband and I both asked prior to committing to Crunch if they were contract-based or month to month. We were told we pay month to month but they just required a 30-day notice of cancellation.
Fast forward a month, I asked my personal trainer if he could freeze my account because my husband would be gone and I have a 6 month old. This gym's childcare starts at 1 year so I would have no one to watch my son during the sessions. He said he didnt have the authority to but woud have his manager do it. That never happened, and I am still being charged the weekly rate.
When I called I was informed that not only was a freeze never put on my account but that my training was part of a 6 month contract and I could not cancel without a docotors note. I replied that this was never explained to me and that I would never have signed up for a contract specifically because we are a military family and can never predict moves/deployments, etc. I have tried calling them repeadetly over the last 5 days to discuss this issue and every time they tell me they are busy and will call me back but never do.
