Today 02/19/2021 I took my elderly client to CVS at 103 W Edinburg Ave Elsa, TX 78543 around noon. There was a line formed at the register and no cashier to be found. So my client proceeded to the self check out. No notes on the register saying out of order, ect. When we finished we clicked for “cash back” $40. The machine then beeps saying to wait for assistance. So we waited until the cashier came to help us. From the moment she walked to us she was rude. The first thing out of her mouth was “Cant you read”? “Next time read that this machine does not give cash back”. No paper was posted. So I explained to her, and she clearly saw for herself there was no notes. So then I asked her if she was going to assist with the cash back manually and her response was “ I dont have to do anything, Because the machine says no cash back.” I then reply” then why did the machine not have a note clearly stating that and it also accepted the transaction according to my receipt.” She was VERY bothered and told me that I do not tell her what to do and she does not have to do anything she did not want to do. Mind you there are about 5 customers waiting for help as well. And heard it all. I then told her if she could not give my client her $40 cash back we would call the bank and report fraud and let them know that the cashier at the elsa cvs refuses to give the client her money and refused to assist us any further. She then ignored us and went back to the desk and continued to help the next person in line. Completely left us hanging. So we went into the line and waited our turn AGAIN. And when it was our turn she literally IGNORED US as we were standing in line clearly next in line andd she hollerd to the lady behind us “NEXT I CAN HELP YOU”. So my client then says “no ma’am I fairly waited in line again since you left me hanging and waited my turn again for you to go ahead and give me the $40 cash back. She then grabbed the receipt upset and left to the back. Took her time and came back and slowly on purpose finally helped us with complete disgusting attitude. Mind you at this point she has a line with about 10 other customers who have witnessed it all. She did not have a name tag on but I was able to get a photo of the lady working that day at noon at the register. Its ashame that my client is a regular there weekly and every week my client along with other customers have to deal with such a rude face to represent CVS pharmacy.
Desired outcome: She needs to be fired.
