Great Wolf Lodge - Gift cards from great wolf lodge

Great Wolf Lodge does not want to honor there own gift card. My company had raffled off 2 gift cards total $500 for Christmas I won in 2014. The gift card states that “This card does not expire and no dormancy fees will be charged” on back of card. I contacted there Guest service supervisor and this is what she said to me”Unfortunately, we do not have this money available anymore. It was transferred to the state. I would reach out to them again, as this is all I can do on my end” Then I reached out to Texas' Official Unclaimed Property Site - Texas Comptroller - Texas.gov? I gave them all the info they needed like pictures of the two gift cards with the all the numbers needed. I gave them pictures of the receipts to the gift cards with all the info. They replied “Dear Claimant:

Thank you for your unclaimed property correspondence. We have conducted research on the information you

provided. Our research indicates the following results:

We are unable to locate any property at this time for the owner information.” I sent this information to Great Wolf Lodge Guest service supervisor and asked is there anything else I can do or look into but till know they have not replied to me any more it’s been months?

Please help my kids would love to go to Great Wolf Lodge thank you.

Desired outcome: Would love for my kids to enjoy those gift cards at Great Wolf Lodge or cash them out.

Hello,

I am having the same issue with Great Wolf lodge, Williamsburg, VA and their gift card. I was gifted their gift card in 2013 and called them couple years later to ask if the gift card had an expiry date, they said no. When we planned to use the gift card, they said there is no money on the gift card and the money has gone to the state. I have checked with the state and they said there were unable to locate any property with the owner's information.

I have also reached out to giftcards@greatwolf.com, and to Great Wolf Lodge and no reply. It is a shame that they cannot honor their own gift cards and do not have any accurate information.

That is true seems like they don’t even want to be bothered by us very poor service!

I have not gone back for the yearly visit and family reunions so they have lost more money from me and family than they would have by honoring there gift cards!

Great Wolf Lodge - Booking/Billing

I booked a room at this location on February 20, 2020 for the dates of February 28, 2020-March 2, 2020..We came for my daughter's cheer competition. When booked I paid the deposit of $257.27 and had a remaining balance of $497.16 that they said would be charged at checkout which was today March 2, 2020. Friday night I was alerted by my bank that the Great Wolf Lodge has charged me for more multiple charges that were coming out of $497.16, $300, and $550! I immediately went to front desk where they apologized and lady said it would be fixed.. Saturday afternoon after we got back from competition I went to check on it and the lady said there was no notes and that she'd fix it right away and money would be in by Sunday.. Sunday after competition I went to check because money was still not back in and again they apologized and said they'd fix it.. This Morning I went to check out and had the same problems I've had since we checked into this place and finally she said there was a Manager there so he came, apologized for the whole ordeal and said he'd fix it and that the money would be deposited within 6-10 business days! 6-10! Are you kidding me?! To say that this weekend was stressful is an understatement and this place made it 10x worse by charging me extra and not even compensated for Anything! Staying here was a nightmare and I will be writing a huge complaint because this should have never happened and is unacceptable! I will never stay at this location again nor will I be recommending it which is a shame because our whole team stayed here and it's not cheap! Smh
