I ordered my 8 year old son chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day since I was unable to be with him for this holiday. The delivery had not been made around 6:30pm so I called to check on the status. The person at the store assured me that it was on the delivery truck and it would be there shortly. As per FAQ about deliveries, I know that residential deliveries can be made as late as 9pm. So he waited, and waited, and finally at 9:25 pm he was sent to bed disappointed and without his gift from mom.
I called the next day, since the store was closed after 9pm. The guy I spoke with stated they have my order in store, and they would waive the delivery fee and send cheesecake as an extra. I asked for a refund! There was no sympathy from the gentleman at all. I felt like he was more annoyed with the fact that he was having to deal with me rather than feeling any kind of sorry for my son. I would like to have the order delivered to him, since he’s been expecting it! Instead I get a refund and nothing else at all. No sorry, or apologies. Just ok - refunded in 5–7 days!
I paid over $80 and ordered over a week in advance for this. I’m appalled at the service and treatment I’ve received! Shame on you edible arrangements!
Desired outcome: Delivered order and maybe a genuine I’m sorry!
