I asked multiple times and was told that the vehicle in question was not salvaged. I turned out it was salvaged. The deal lied to me 3 times.

I bought a car from Pinnacle five years ago. The car looked and drove like new then, and it still does, more than 60, 000 miles later. I have spent practically nothing on it, except for normal upkeep. Incidentally, the "seller of salvaged vehicles" is a crock...none of the cars are salvaged.
I almost bought a used car from them in August 2009. I never met with the owner, just his father who said the son spends most of his time on the computer buying wholesale and making delivery arrangements of said vehicles. I 'm the Mom who was buying my son his first car for college away from home. We agreed on a price and I made arrangements to buy the vehicle the next day. The night before I left to go put the $ down, I got a Carfax report. Thank God I did, because the vehicle had been a total loss in a Houston flood just 3 months prior. I called them and asked about this and they kind of blew me off. Their website noted that there were some cars available on their lot that were Salvage Titles but my particular car had no mention of it - I never would have even gone to look at/test drive any vehicles from them. Sent them a letter stating that this is deliberate deception. A month later that same car was still available and their website said nothing about it being a flood salvage. Seems like they just don't care very much about being forthright. Buyer beware. Salavage titles are worthless b/c your car is worth virtually pennies on the dollar vs what you paid for it and you sometimes can't get car insurance on them.
I also ended up with at vehicle that had a flood title from Pinnacle Motors. My bank didn't catch the the issue with the title so I'm stuck paying 10K for a car worth 3K. Please get a carfax and stay away from PINNACLE MOTORS. God will surely curse them.
get the carfax!
I just made a out of state purchase from Pinnacle motor cars and they did a great job on making the shipment happen and kept me informed and when it arrived it was just as they said.
