I work customer service for over 23 years. Management and all. I door dash on the side which is still customer service. Today as I left my 8 hour job I decided to dash for an hour. First order McDonalds. I stood waiting for 30 minutes for this order to go less then a mile down the road as the lady waiting for Grub hub order was waiting to. Including the lobby and drive through as teenagers giggled and played around and the so called manager was hiding in office. As i bring this attention to her I was told I could of just cancel the door dash order. That the employees had just got there. I had been standing there for 30 minutes waiting. The new girl in training was thrown to the wolfs and that was by the manager. She apologized for the inconvenience and I told her wasn't her fault it's the lack of management. I asked for a DM name as I will be stopping by to talk with and she said good luck. Even if I'm working I'm a customer for those customers ordering. This situation caused me lost wages and upset ness. By the time I walked out the door with my order finally the lobby was full of people waiting as the drive thru out to the street. I wasn't offered any thing for inconvenience.
