VacayHome Connect, LLC is the bomb! Their team is super cool and their platform is dope. I had a great experience using their service and got some sick results. I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay on vacation. They're like the top dog in the industry or something.

I work at VacayHome Connect for over 6 years now. It's sad to see the rating. People tend to post more negative experiences than positive ones. We do deserve some bad reviews, but not all of them. Sometimes, it's just a bad scenario for the guest and us. We're not a perfect company, but we work hard towards perfectionism. Like the best companies out there, we make mistakes sometimes. What matters is how we handle them. In my 6 plus years here, I've seen more rights than wrongs. That's why I'm still here and will be here as long as they keep me.

I rented out my place on Cape Cod through Vacay Home Connect last year, but they still owe me over $200,000 for owner payments and cancellations. I've called them many times, even talked to the CEO, but nothing has been done. They promised to pay me back, but only sent small amounts that stopped at the end of summer. I've even taken legal action against them in Federal and State Court in Chicago and filed complaints with the Attorney Generals Office in Illinois, but nothing has come of it. Don't use this company to book or rent anything. They have no morals. My small business has taken a big hit because of them.

I looked at the company and saw some complaints. They were all about Covid and stuff. The company made it through and others didn't. They care about being honest and paying people right. It's hard but they fixed most of the problems and will fix them all. You just need to be patient. The call center is great and the new manager and platform are cool. If you do property management, check them out.

Don't book through ***, Vacay Home Connect or anyone else - book directly with the resort! This place is supposed to be fun for families, but we were tricked. We booked with a private owner through *** and it was a disaster. The address on the reservation was wrong and the price was way more than advertised. The owner lied about the property and *** didn't help us at all. The ad said it had a beach view and private beach, but it was actually a 10-minute drive away. The pool was also closed, which we didn't know until we got there. This was supposed to be a special birthday vacation for my husband, but it was a huge disappointment. We spent way too much money for a condo on a canal with no amenities and a long drive to the beach. We won't use *** again and we'll tell everyone we know not to either. We would have stayed home if we wanted to be disappointed.

We were so excited to go on vacation, but COVID ruined our plans. We tried to get our money back from VacayHome Connect, but they refused to give us a refund. It's really frustrating because we can't even use the rental now. We understand that companies have policies, but this is just not fair. We hope that they will reconsider their decision and give us our money back.

I payed for a rental from this company. Got there and checked in and then 2 hours later the ceiling fell in on us. We never even got to stay at the rental and now I have been waiting on a refund since august. 5 months later and still nothing. They have been horrible at informing me on any info or updates and now are not even responding at all.

I rented an airbnb from VacayHome Connect, LLC in September for $522.66. But I had to cancel my reservation on September 23rd. I was supposed to stay at the Cancun Resort, but they refunded the money to VacayHome Connect, LLC and they never gave it back to me. I sent them an email and gave them 48 hours to respond, but that was on September 29th and I haven't heard anything since. Today, my bank reversed the payment back to me. I called VacayHome Connect, LLC again, but they keep giving me the runaround.

We chose a refund because our family lives in Canada and we didn't know when the boarders would open. They said it would take 90 days to process. On June 31, we asked about the refund and they said it would be a couple more weeks. We asked again in September , but haven't heard back. We've been calling every day, but can't get it fixed!

Please get in touch if you have any questions about your trip." But when I arrived at the property, they had no record of my reservation and told me that it was a time share and owners can't rent units. I paid $452.79 for the booking (Booking number: BR28839119). I contacted VacayHome and they said they would reimburse me, but I still haven't received the reimbursement. I had to scramble to find a place to stay.

'Cause of COVID-19, we decided to cancel and I did so before the required 60 days with the home office of VACAY homes on April 15. The management company of the property agreed to the cancelation and return of the deposit. VACAY rep said it would take 90 days. Then I got an email saying they were canceling the reservation and I would get $500 back one June 22. Not counting insurance, I should get back $2000.00. I have emailed them, talked to an online rep that found the order and agreed with me but couldn't help, and the office several times and I have received nothing. I also think they upped the price from what was online to when I actually made the reservation by about $2000. I would like my money back. I will not use them again.

I booked a place from VacayHome Connect on the *** app. The owner or vrbo didn't tell me about the extra fees of $200 non refundable security deposit and a *** daily resort fee. I called vrbo and they said sorry but they can't change it because they don't charge the money. They contacted the owner. I talked to *** at VacayHome Connect on Feb 28. She said it wasn't her problem and that the deposit is refundable but only if we attend a 3 hour long timeshare sales pitch (also not mentioned on the app or rental agreement). I argued about it, but they canceled my reservation (I talked to *** on March 1). After reading reviews of the property, I found out that at least 10 other people had the same problem. A business shouldn't cheat customers. All fees should be clear.

I book a condo from VacayHome Connect, LLC for Mar 22, 2020 - March 27. But, coz of covid-19, we couldn't go on our trip. They email me on March 20, saying that they approve all cancellations and provide a full refund except for a $99 processing fee. I agreed to it. They said I would get my refund in 30 days, but it kept getting delayed. I called them many times, but they didn't give me a proper answer. Finally, in early August, a guy told me to dispute the charges on my credit card for a quicker refund. I did that, and I got my money back in 3 days. But, after 2 months, they put the charges back on my card. I called them many times and sent emails, but they didn't reply. I paid $2374.96 for the deposit and remaining balance.

On Nov 11, 2019, VacayHome Connect charged me $830.72, which I didn't know about. I thought it was fraud and told my bank. I checked in online on Jan 2/20 and was set to move in on Jan 11/20 with Kokua Rentals. But on Jan 5, 2020, Vacay Home Connect got the $830.72. Then on Jan 7, 2020, Kokua Rental said they rented my unit to someone else because I contested the charge. *** told me Vacay Home Connect is their merchant of record. They cancelled my reservation four days before check-in and kept my money. They said they'd refund me, but they haven't. They won't pay me back the $830.72.
