VinylTech never gave me my bid after weeks of calling them after they reviewed my project
VinylTech never gave me my bid after weeks of calling them after they reviewed my project. I was so mad because I really needed that bid and they just left me hanging. It's like they didn't even care about my business. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Vinyltech gave me a quote to fix my roof on 11/01
Vinyltech gave me a quote to fix my roof on 11/01. They forgot to add the garage roof in the quote. When I asked them to add it, they charged me almost 25% more per square than the home roof. The garage roof is simple with no valleys or vents, so it should have been cheaper. When I asked why the price was so different, the salesman said he would check and never got back to me. If it was just a mistake, they should have explained it to me.
I hired Vinyltech in a local town to fix my roof and my family's roof
I hired Vinyltech locally to fix our roofs. They blundered thrice. Initially, mismatched soffit hues. Next, subpar wood for cost-cutting. Lastly, gutters were sloped steeply by their New Orleans crew. Despite paying for drip edges, they were omitted. Upon complaint, they improperly affixed them, now they're detaching. Despite repeated calls over four months, I get excuses. I found them via a business bureau, which I now regret trusting. I advise against using Vinyltech and won't rely on that bureau's ratings. Legal issues prevent me from discussing the damage to my family's property.
I had an appointment with Vinyltech in New Orleans at 8am to get an estimate on siding
I had an appointment with Vinyltech in New Orleans at 8am to get an estimate on siding. I wanted to replace the upper 2 sides of siding. The guys arrived at 8:38am because of traffic. I greeted them and told them what I wanted. *** said they would check everything because sometimes insurance companies missed things. A few minutes later, I heard steps on my roof so I went outside to see what was going on. *** came from the left side of my home and said they were checking out my roof. I told him I made an appointment for siding, not a roof, and to get off my roof immediately. I called the company and spoke to ***. She put my complaint in the computer and informed the office manager. After the call, I went to inform them that I didn't want the estimate. *** told me that out of courtesy he had some pictures to show of some damaged shingles on my roof. I told him I didn't want to see the pictures. He said he was the owner of the company and that I would be a great fit anyway. I told him he was training his guys to do whatever they wanted instead of what the homeowner requested and that his company lacked integrity. Then I closed my door. I haven't received an apology from anyone. Now I have to get my roofer to come out and inspect my roof for any damages they may have caused.

Vinyltech did my house's concrete siding like 10 years ago
Vinyltech did my house's concrete siding like 10 years ago. It got messed up a bit from Hurricane *** and some parts got blown away. One piece is still hanging on for dear life. I called them like 4 times to fix it up since the hurricane, but they never call me back.
Vinyltech did my roof and siding for my new crib
Vinyltech did my roof and siding for my new crib. It was all good for a few years, but then it started leaking. Vinyltech came out twice to fix it up, but it still leaked after the hurricane hit. The dude on the phone said it's normal for everything to leak during a hurricane, so I just let it go. But then it started leaking again, and I tried to call them back, but they never called me back. I even asked my builder to reach out, but still no response from Vinyltech. I need this leak fixed, but they're ghosting me.
I saw Vinyltech's ad on *** and they said they were A+ rated with ComplaintsBoard.com and had materials in stock
I saw Vinyltech's ad on *** and they said they were A+ rated with ComplaintsBoard.com and had materials in stock. I put a deposit down to replace my vinyl siding and windows, but they told me it would take 6-8 weeks for the materials to come in. I decided to do some painting while I waited, and when the materials came in, I told them I was ready for vinyl. They promised to start the following week, but that didn't happen. They missed several more promised start dates, and it wasn't until April 8th that they started. Only two workers have stayed to work as of yet, and the work is still ongoing.
My main issue is that when I asked about metal capping to replace existing capping, they said it wasn't part of the bid and would be an additional $1500. The owner changed that to $900, but I still feel like it was a ploy to get more money. Other vinyl installers and their customers agreed that it could be considered price gouging. My home is mainly brick with some vinyl, but not the whole house.

My house got messed up by Hurricane Laura and I hired Vinyltech to fix it up
My house got messed up by Hurricane Laura and I hired Vinyltech to fix it up. They were supposed to put new shingles on my roof and replace the clay tiles on my house and shop. They brought the shingles on November 4th but didn't bring the clay tiles because they didn't want them to get messed up. The roofers started working but I couldn't find out when they were going to bring the clay tiles. I asked David C Hector and Shane M but they didn't give me a straight answer. I got mad and asked on Facebook if anyone knew where to get the tiles. I found out where to get them and told Shane M. He said he would look into it but he didn't. I went to the store myself and took pictures of the tiles and sent them to Shane M. He still didn't do anything. I texted him and said I was getting mad and wanted him to finish the job or let me hire someone else. He said he would let me know but he didn't.
