Last night myself and a small group of friends went to the waffle house in Benton Ar. First there was no one clearing the tables. Granted it was late and a little crowded. It took 30 minutes for us to even get our drinks. finally another 20 minutes or so we ordered our food. The server was not the problem. The woman that was the manager I presume was constantly yelling at the server when he would call out orders, telling him to stop because she wasn't ready.. the line cook obviously had an attitude going. I asked the server a couple of times about things that were forgotten and he told me that the manger or cook had to sign off on them first! All I ordered was a waffle and bacon...when my waffle was cooked it sat on the counter for about 10 minutes and when I received it it was cold! Another in my group did not get her toast and when our server told the manger about it she was visibly irritated about it. It took us almost 2 hours to get our food. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant! to top it all off the floor of the cooking area had trash all over which no one took the time to pick up and the trash can was overflowing! The entire problem was the manager.

Wednesday 1-9-2019 I was called in to work when I didn't even work 3rd shift. When I get there the store was a mess and the door was locked. So I go in start cleaning up cause every table was dirty, dishes bathroom and there was no cash in the register. So by the time I see that there is no money in the register I have a few customers waiting to check out. So I go straight to the office that was open and the safe didn't have a lock on it or a zip tie. So therefore I don't know if the money was there the manager doesn't know if the money was there no one knows if the money was there. there was two drawers in there and it's only supposed to be one so I grabbed the top one stick it in the cash register get back to my customers and go back to taking orders and calling in food. I finished my shift super tired how to take the bus that morning so I did not count my drawer I just stuck it in the safe and left. I'll be right back in there at 2 p.m. and I didn't leave there till 7:30 a.m. . so when I get back at 2 p.m. I was told by unit manager that my drawer was $58 short. I don't see how she and tell me it was short when she didn't even count it before I got it to know if it was short or not. and the girl that works second shift leaves and didn't you have her out please before another server gets there and just tells the cook's to lock the door if it's too drawers into one safe and that's not allowed and she didn't lock nothing up office or the safe so therefore anybody could have got in there and did anything without money .so I tell her that I work 2nd shift how much or when I left that was fine and nothing else was said to me on Wednesday when I left at 9 p.m. then yesterday 10th January since I go in to get my check I'm off that day and she tells me that two angels above her come in reviews from cameras and said that I have too many drawer shortages so therefore I'm fired. none of this is making sense to me and every employee in the store knew I was getting fired for my manager came out to even speak to me or say anything or even give me my check they were saying remarks to me before my manager had came out so they ameliorated me not only then lies and now who knows what all people are saying that I did not know that is not true all because of one person making a statement that really they don't know they're talkin about unprofessional. who knows you can turn them drawers in the first place the general manager andAssistant manager or both paying back money right now to waffle House for their safety and $700 short so who is to say that they're not doing this and just blame it on their employees there might have blaming anyone I don't know what happened.

When we came in we we're not greeted. They were busy so I let that go. We sat at the bar and it was dirty. Jerri said she was not wiping the bar off that it wasn't her job. They were all fussing at each other very loudly. The guy cooking told one of the girls she just needed to kill herself. Itold them I was leaving because I was not sitting there listening to it. The guy said good. And the lady that was cooking apologized. All the time he was popping off. I told them I'd make sure to put it on the survey and he said I don't care I'll do a survey too. I work with the public every day and this is very unacceptable. This is the first time I have been in this restaurant and I will not be back.

too much fun and good food
Store #602 in Staunton VA on Thanksgiving morning presented my family and I with the WH cheer, comraderie and good food to start the Holiday season.
These folks and their establishment were top-rate and even poised for group shots completel with paper hats for all.
When we left I hadn't had a belly this full or a smile so wide in awhile.
Special shout-out to Joyce who is as sweet as a pecan waffle.

On Nov 21, 2018 @approx 9:10 PM my husband and I were dining at the waffle house on memorial Blvd in picayune ms. When we heard a server name dena telling to another server named Meghan that the cook was supposed to count her tips.. she was loud and boisterous. A African American server whose name I didn't get was trying to explain to Meghan why she must do so and dena screamed "yea because you got 3 people wrote up. You're counting my money. I dont give a [censored] I got a better job offer than you. I dont need this [censored]." The black lady was laughing at her, which infuriated her even more. I honestly thought they were going to began physically assaulting each other when dena braced up to the black lady. Finally the black lady responded and dena backed off slamming the dish washer door and eventually storming out of the restaurant . This is the second time we've dined here and dena had an altercation with another employee.. several times we've come in and deliberately opted to not eit in her section because she is so rude. I work in the food industry I manage a 5 star restaurant in new Orleans. This type of behavior should be strictly prohibited and dealt with immediately. It is a very hostile work environment I'm sure and it is very bad for business. We will no longer dine there.. thank you fgd or your time and concern

On Friday 10/26/2018 at 8:15 pm store #1670 2735 Forest Parkway Ellenwood, GA I called in a order for pick up. I asked how much time to allow to prepare the food and was told 5 minutes. I allowed more time to insure that the order was ready getting there 20 minutes later to find that the order had not been called back to the cook. The waiter Jahlon informed me that he forgot to call the order. Jahlon had headphones that appeared to be connected to his cell phone sitting on top of his head just above his ears. I waited for the food to be prepared in my car right outside the door. I noticed that the cook walked out toward his car near the McDonald's so I went inside to check on the order. The hash browns were dark, crispy and was missing some toppings. I informed Jahlon that we ordered the hash browns scattered light and that the order needed to be corrected. He stated that he forgot to tell the cook about the hash browns. He told me that he was alone and could not leave. I asked if I needed to go outside and get the cook and he replied that would be a good idea. I went and got the cook to explain what happened. The cook corrected the order and then I was told that the only thing they could take off the bill was the 10% pick up fee. There was not a supervisor/manager on site to consult. should have been offered more of a discount with everything that happened. I paid the bill took the food and left. I was not going to get anything resolved at that time. I have been eating at this location for years now and my last 2 visits were so unprofessional and I will not eat at this location nor order from it again. Someone needs to look into the appearance and service at this location. I should have been offered a complete refund of $21.38 for service recovery or a chance to speak with a onsite manager.

My husband and I had stopped for a dinner
October 17, 2018 at about 7:30pm.
The appearance of the restaurant was not good at all. The waitress were not dressed well at all. I remember years ago when you both, owers of the business had stopped to visit and cook to help get the company going in the right direction.
But to stop for dinner and see the floors wet behind the counter, your people not dressed well, the tables not cleaned well, plus her pocketbook and dinner setting on the counter. Not happy to have customers. I was just floored. But we still stayed to eat and no the hamburger was not good either.

hygiene issues
Last night, 10/17/2018, my roommate and I decided to stop at a Waffle House in Brentwood, TN, before we went home. We stopped in at roughly 10:00 PM. When we pulled up, I noticed a worker outside talking to someone in a car. We get out and the worker finishes talking to this person and holds the door open for us. She walks in behind us. She proceeds to grab silverware and place is on our table. I look at my roommate and proceeded to say to her "she didn't wash her hands before grabbing our silverware and putting it on the table." I witnessed her do several other tasks before she walked tot he sink and washed her hands. I did not get her name and the receipt simply states "cashier", though she is the one that took our payments.
Also, while sitting at our table eating, I was watching the cook as it fascinates me how these cooks can makes so many meals so quickly. Maybe I should not have watched him because what I saw made my stomach churn. I witnessed the cook pull out his cell phone, with his gloves on, do something on his phone and then put it back in his pocket. After this, without changing his gloves, he proceeded to place toast on a plate. Then he walked over to a plate of bacon, I'm assuming that he made extra for himself, and saw him eat the bacon, but while doing so, the gloves touched his mouth. He continued to touch food and cook, again, without changing gloves. At this point, I stopped eating. I wasn't even halfway done with my food, but I was sick to my stomach. When I told my roommate what happened, she also stopped.
We then both watched as the cook took one glove off, proceed to stick a finger in his mouth as if he had something stuck in his teeth...we are unsure if he was planning on putting the glove back, but when he saw the face that my roommate was making at him as she saw this happening (she works in food service as well), he took the other glove off and then went to wash his hands.
We will never step foot back in this location again. It is store #1183.
employee mistreatment
My district manager Tasha is very rude twords me each time she is at work. She talks to me with an attitude and while she is gettion on to me she is on the phine video chatting as well. She treat me totally different from other employees. I dont know if its my skin color or or my apperance but in her eyes im doing everything wrong but when others make an honest mistake she smile and laugh and brush it off but when I make a honest mistake she is rude and nasty with neck rolling and eye rolling with the most disrespectful attitude. Somethung need to be done about this. I have gotten wrote up due to a honest mistake and for sitting outside in my car for 5 mins to get warm and for wearing a coat. Everyone knows the waffke house stay cold.

On Oct 14, 2018 upon arrival at the Waffle House around 9:04 am located in Oxford Al which is my hometown. I requested for a booth to sit and there was two available at the time i was told by the waitress I couldn't have a booth because it was just me had to be two or more because it was Race weekend. At first I thought she was she was joking. She repeated herself again my response to her is this some type of new law. She then said I couldn't sit at the booth because it was Race weekend which is held in Talladega some 22 miles away.I responded what does that have to do with me being able to sit where I choose as a paying customer she responded by saying its only for this weekend my response to her was you know what dont even worry about it and I departed. What trouble me the most was a refusal to sit me as I desired as a faithful paying customer in a time where you would think this type of display of behavior wasn't around. Yes I felt very humiliated, embarrassed and ashamed I am a Black male and all that was present at the time was sadly to say individual who was of white Human Race and all eyes was basically on me expressing how I felt.This type of display in a public area in whom I have choosen to eat at for many years denied my basic right and to make clearly was a violation of my right and a form of discrimination. You think because it was race weekend you could treat a paying customer who was by himself to sit at a booth because I didn't have two or more individuals with me. I was made to really be force to sit in the chairs around the counter or leave if I didn't like it. I was so trouble I couldn't even enjoy church service and it 11:35 PM and I am still trouble by their action. I am going to address what I have experience with the Waffle House I experience in Oxford Al on twitter, YouTube, Social Media and forward my complaint to the NAACP of my mistreatment maybe other have experience the same thing but didn't have the courage to speak out I WILL. I think it would only be fair to allow this Department that handles complaint to respond before I move forward but forward I will move. Mrs. Linzey/Madea was my waitress and took over 10 minutes of me sitting at the bar before she approached me. Didn't bother greeting me nor welcoming me to the restaurant, just stood there waiting for me to tell her my order. Two African American police officers came in after me and were greeted sooner than I was. Mrs. Linzey's attitude was extremely unprofessional and rude. She should not be working in this environment if she isn't going to be professional. I work in the industry as well and know exactly how it is. She never asked me if everything was ok or if I needed anything. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this location again because of her.

Hello, my daughter and I went to the waffle house in Villa Rica Ga., the one by Super Wal-Mart. I have never had a problem with this one before. My husband and I always go there. But tonight ruined any other chance of that! When we walked in, and sat down at the table, the waitress took a good 15, 20 minutes before coming to the table. She wasn't friendly at all, she took our order and called it out, right then I knew it was wrong! When she brought our food out, it just looked suspicious. The pork chops were not done, the cheese and eggs, I can't find the words for them. My daughter's sandwich wasn't right at all, then I finally got my waffle, or should I say "Raw Waffle"! The waitress never once came back to the table to give refills, or to check on us to see if we were ok. She only had 2 other tables besides us. I am very upset, and disappointed in the night out that my daughter and I were having.

Me and my boyfriend called for a to go order at the Waffle House here in Caddo Valley, AR. As my boyfriend was trying to order, he received an unprofessional attitude while he was ordering. He kindly went out there to order and still was receiving unprofessional attitude from the employees. All we were trying to do was order our food. We left and went to another eatery. We did not appreciate the service we recieved from this Waffle House.

We have been without power since Wednesday night. Decided to call WH on Veterans Blvd Dublin, Ga and order a to-go for supper(3 People) as we have no idea when we will get electricity due to hurricane Michael.
We were told they were on a limited menu, laughing in the background and then WH employee hung up the phone on us! People are in crisis all around here with many Place's without power and to think WH Dublin could be so rude! What a shame!
