My mother and I (age 94 and I am 75) were regulars for breakfast in the waffle house in vestavia. aroung the first of November we began to get greasey and overcooked food.
They had hired a new employee, a black female that was cooking strips and strips of beacon without cleaning the grease off the grill, leavving the hashbrowns yellow greasey, my grtill cheese was saturated with oil so bad that when I would pick it up grease was all on the tips of my fingers and the palm of my hand.
There was always this white guy standing up close and personal with whispering and laughing in her ear.
It was either the 4th of fifth on November .I got the same plate of sorry greasey food. I pushed it away. Enough was enough! I asked for the manager.
Well here come the white man that was always stuck to the new cook.
I asked him his name and he said ...TYLER...
I told him that we had had bad greasey food from that cook time and time again. That the food had always been excellent until she showed up.
He disputed my word lowley saying "she is a good cook" and he was standing behind her. We mildly argued so I shut up realizing that Tyler had no manager skills, and especially talking down to an elderly person.
Tyler went on to say "she is going to be here, so, if I didn't want to eat her cooking then "NOT TO ORDER ANYTHING WHEN I CAME IN "
When my mother and I had come in and (I saw her we asked for the other cook, a white man that had been there for a long time, but the rookie woman ended up cooking the food despite our request!
I told Tyler that I was going to contact headquarters fo file a complaint and he gave me a smart answer saying "Go ahead they won't do anything, people have tried before"! Then he walked over t0o the bad cook and got cclose once more and they started laughing as she looked over at me!
None of the long time employees like as he is overbearing and rude.
Claimed loss: Two very long time customersWe would like an opology .... from Tyler and our good cooks Back
Desired outcome: Fire : Tyler
