This moving company is takin total advantage of the elderly and veterans
This moving company is takin total advantage of the elderly and veterans. They picked up our furniture on Oct 1, 2021, and said we could get it back in 3 days by a driver. But now the cost went up from $3300 to over $6000 and we still don't have our furniture on the 13th Oct. They called this mornin sayin the truck left Florida today, but it's funny cuz they also said it left on Saturday and could take 4 to 7 days. That would break their contract cuz they tell customers 10 to 15 days. So they got 2 days to make it right. Also, an employee named *** called me just cuz I asked where our stuff is. Don't use these folks, they pretend it's in the name of God, but my husband has COPD and he ain't got no bed or chair.
I ain't never been treated so bad by a movin' company
I ain't never been treated so bad by a movin' company. They only sent two guys for my move. One guy, let's call him *** for now, was real rude and scary. He kept pushin' me to pay an extra $1200 'cause he said it was more than the quote. *** mostly stayed in the truck while the other guy did the movin'. I was watchin' in horror as this one guy tried movin' my glass dresser down the stairs all by himself. No surprise, it slipped and smacked into the wall. And then I saw *** droppin' boxes from the truck and they hit the ground hard. After they left, I realized they went through my zipped luggage that I left in a locked room and took my jewelry. There ain't no customer service and the lady in charge, let's call her ***, straight up lies. I'm an old-timer and I'm beggin' ya to put an end to this awful company. They claim to care for seniors but they're just takin' advantage of 'em. My stuff arrived all busted up, furniture all scratched and chipped. They even took my fancy Persian rug. Movin' is already a stressful job, but this company was downright terrible. I just hope you can help stop 'em from hurtin' the next person. They don't deserve a single star.

We're a military family and out of all the moving companies we have worked with, I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life. Not only did *** call me a Karen repeatedly because I was simply asking for a corporate number or to speak with a supervisor, but he continuously yelled at me and hung up on me. The woman, *** and driver *** basically tried to tell me that their truck would not fit in my driveway and would charge $400 because of this. I've attached the picture because I cannot believe how money hungry they could be to actually say that the truck will not fit in front of our new home. When I spoke to ***, she said I clearly don't listen to her, but when asking for names she just continued to repeat a phone number. *** is in a corporate office in FL but is telling me she has to go by the driver although the driver is clearly lying about not having room to park their truck. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY MEANS. It's a shame because the gentlemen that packed our truck in FL were extremely professional and helpful.
This move was the worst ever
This move was the worst ever. The movers were 4 hours late pickin up our stuff and then they rushed to get things done. The paperwork they filled out was incomplete and left off some moved items. They forgot some things on the list and when we called, they took the items but didn't add them to the list. All those things got stolen and never brought to us. There was also thousands of dollars worth of damage and we just got a $95 check in the mail. We got way overcharged compared to the estimate they gave us. I called the company many times and nobody took responsibility. Our stuff was supposed to go to Illinois first and *** second, but they switched it and told us the day before they were coming. The movers repacked the truck and things weren't in the right order. We couldn't have a worse experience and we'll contact the ComplaintsBoard.com about this scam.
The one-star reviews here say it all, but I gotta share my experience 'cause this company ain't worth anyone's business
The one-star reviews here say it all, but I gotta share my experience 'cause this company ain't worth anyone's business. So, before they picked up my stuff from another state, the customer service person I talked to said a dispatcher would call me to set up the delivery at my place. But guess what? Instead, I got a text from some random number two days after the pickup. It was one of their drivers, saying they tried calling me a bunch of times the day before and that they'd be delivering that very morning. When I told the driver I never got any calls or texts from them, they just yelled at me and said they called from a different, unknown number. They also said if I wanted to reschedule, I'd have to cough up an extra $1,000. I had to rush home from work and take an unexpected day off for a delivery I didn't even schedule. Talk about a major hassle! And to top it off, my furniture came with dents and scratches that weren't there before. Now, the owner's responding to negative reviews by saying the reviewers aren't even their customers. Well, let me tell you, this company not only treats their clients like garbage but also lies to cover up their terrible work. They're clearly a bunch of scammers, and it's mind-boggling that they're still in business.
I'm giving them a 1 star review because 0 is not an option
I'm giving them a 1 star review because 0 is not an option. This was probably one of the worst experiences I've had as far as moving is concerned. My son graduated college in *** and contacted a moving company. He had very little to move but he wanted to keep his college books, so we agreed to hire movers to pick up 5 boxes, a mattress, a couch, and his desk. I never contacted these people directly. I went through *** Moving and We Care For You showed up. I was already paying $2,300 ++ as the minimum charge and my son's belongings were using up less than 20% of the allotted space. The guys that got there told my son that they needed to recalculate the fees. At that moment I told my son to dump everything as it would be cheaper to buy everything new than go along with these movers. I immediately received a call from the broker stating that We Care For You had made a mistake and there would be no further charge. That evening after they had loaded the items, my son noticed that his Apple watch was missing. He tracked the watch and it was already over 300 miles from where he was. The watch had never been packed. It was sitting on the kitchen counter where my son left it before he started cleaning up the kitchen of the house he was renting. We immediately notified the broker of this and my son filed a report with the police. This weekend, exactly one month after the pick-up, the truck arrived and we were advised that we need to pay an additional $400 because their truck did not fit on the street where my son's new apartment is located so they would need to move everything from the big truck into a smaller truck. No one ever mentioned that this would happen. My son met the movers at his new apartment and I went to get cash at the bank (they only take cash at drop off) and while I was driving there, they called me again and said it would be an additional $150 for them to go up the stairs, although I had advised them that there is an elevator and they could use it t.

We care for you moving company wont contact me back
We care for you moving company wont contact me back. They sent my furniture to a cancelled location, and the woman I was in contact with who can verify it was cancelled (*** ) wont return any calls. This company is acting unethically and shouldnt be allowed to do so.
Movers lost stuff and caused damage
Movers lost stuff and caused damage. They don't wanna pay what they owe for this. They even overcharged me. Movers lost stuff, caused damage, and overcharged for the move. National Express Van Lines hired We Care For You Movers. They quoted me $1650.00, but the moving company charged me $2873.98. I want them to pay for all the stuff they lost and damaged.
I got this moving company to move my stuff from *** to ***, ** on August 8th, 2022
I got this moving company to move my stuff from *** to ***, *** on August 8th, 2022. On the paper I signed, I said they should deliver it by October 19th, 2022. They didn't show up on that day, and nobody called to say it would be late. On October 31st, a truck driver texted me saying they were bringing my stuff and I owed $988. I told them I couldn't pay or accept the move until Thursday, November 3rd. The person in charge and the We Care For You moving company dispatcher wouldn't cooperate with me. Now they're saying if I don't pay $1688 by December 9th, they'll sell my stuff at an auction. These people are scammers and thieves. I need my things, I trusted them to move them, and now they're charging me way more than I owe and threatening to auction it off. I can't accept the stuff until December 16th, and I'm only paying $988, not $1688.

We first hired *** (TRG) (Job # B5199441) who hired "We Care for You" (WCFY) (Job # BB6283972) to pack and send our stuff
We first hired *** (TRG) (Job # B5199441) who hired "We Care for You" (WCFY) (Job # BB6283972) to pack and send our stuff to their storage place in ***, . So far, we paid Trinity (TRG) $4,080.00 out of their $11,173.21 estimate for the whole move. On 10/26/2022, we paid the packers and movers from WCFY $3,546.21 with a personal check. But then WCFY said we had more things than *** thought and refused to put our stuff on a truck to *** until we paid the extra money at pack out. So, on 11/2/2022, we sent a bank wire to WCFY for $3,149.12. In total, we paid $10,775.33 to these two moving companies, even though TRG estimated $11,173.21. Now, both companies are demanding a photo of a cashier's check for $6,445.33 before they ship our stuff. We made the cashier's check for that amount, but we covered up the account numbers so nobody can cash it. But now they want us to show those numbers before they ship. This demand means they won't give us our stuff until we pay the full amount for the move, even before the contract is done.
NITEMARE ALERT!
NITEMARE ALERT! My famly used this movin company to move from Florida to North Carolina. After gettin our stuff we found lots of Christmas gifts for our kids and famly missin. Includin a playstion 5 that had credit card info on it that was then reported to have fraud activity. There was also lots of broken furnitur and some totally destroyed in the move. We contacted the company but they aint done nothin. Not long after, we started gettin phone calls from the actual movers that loaded the truck and it turned into harassment on social media. If that aint bad enough, we noticed that a necklace my late grandpa gave me was gone along with my social security card. And to top it all off, one of the movers had the nerve to post a new Facebook pic wearin the necklace like it was a souvenir. We got a lawyer, called the police, and the department of transportation. We also reached out to all the news stations in southern Florida and North Carolina. It's a real shame that as a veteran of the Afghanistan war, we had to pay thousands of dollars for movers to take so much from us, especially somethin as sentimental as my grandpa's cross.
*** was super unprofesh and threatened to keep my furniture forever just to be a jerk because I asked about my delivery
was super unprofesh and threatened to keep my furniture forever just to be a jerk because I asked about my delivery. The rep was a total insult and threat machine. I called the number they gave for delivery questions and *** (who wouldn't give his last name) told me he was gonna hold onto my stuff until the very last second just because I bothered to ask. He said I should've used FedEx if I had "crazy expectations," all because I wanted to know why my stuff hadn't even shipped yet when he said it would two days ago. Then he got all mean and said if I wanted to play that game, he'd keep my stuff forever. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it and said not to call him again. I'm a nice person and I wasn't mean to him at all. I just wanted info about my shipment. I did exactly what the company said and called the exact number they told me to call. He acted like I punched his puppy! This is NOT how you do business, like, at all. It's totally not cool.
On XX-XX-XXXX we had lots of different problems with We Care for You
On XX-XX-XXXX we had lots of different problems with We Care for You. Order number BBXXXXXXX. The first problem was that the paperwork had lots of mistakes with dates (some were dated 7/7) and prices (prices don't add up right). The second problem is that they made us sign empty documents and threatened to charge us $2,674 if we didn't sign. I'm in the military and had to move, so I didn't have a choice but to cooperate, and they knew that when I asked if they knew about military moves. They changed the "estimate" twice while loading the vehicle, as you can see from the handwritten estimates. Then they made me sign a paper saying I got a written estimate BEFORE my move to cover up their big price increases. Then they made me sign a paper saying I didn't follow their packing procedures when I actually had them pack some things and had pre-boxed items too. Lots of things got broken. I plan to complain about all these issues, but mainly because they gave me contract copies that I can't read and I can't complain to them. My wife and I have tried to contact We Care For You every week since we moved in on 09/02. The few times they didn't ignore us, they said they would send legible paperwork. But we haven't gotten any paperwork or response from We Care For You, so we can't even file a claim.
I got this mover from a broker
I got this mover from a broker. When the movers came, he told me that the broker didn't quote it right & it would cost a lot more than the original estimate. I used their free *** (long distance move from FL to MD). Once I got my address, I called their office. I told them I needed notice because I had to reserve the loading dock at my *** which was only open during business hours. The driver called me the day before & said he would be at my place between 3-6pm. The driver *** called me at 2pm on the day of the *** and said they were still 4 hours away (too late for the dock). I told him the loading dock was only open until 5pm. He got an attitude instantly & said I should have told him. I told him I thoroughly informed the office & they were supposed to relay it to him. He asked about the hours for the following day. I told him they opened at 10am. He got angry & said he won't keep this stuff on his truck until 10am. He hung up & said he was calling the office. He called me back a few minutes later & said he'll be at my building at 9:55 tomorrow. I agreed. They arrived around 10:15am. They started bringing up items and brought up items that weren't mine & argued with me when I told them they didn't belong to *** and couldn't leave them in my place. As boxes were coming up - they were beat up, ripped, torn, smashed - and the ones marked FRAGILE were the worst. Furniture came up & as they unwrapped, I saw many scratches, dents, dings that weren't there when it was picked up. Many items were missing, including the feet for my dresser. I ended up paying double what I was quoted. So many fees: elevator fee, stairs fee, long carry fee (twice). I went through their 3rd party claims process & they offered me a settlement of $100. Not acceptable. No one should use these movers.
Around March, I hired a moving team to help me relocate from West Palm Beach, FL to Vancouver, WA
Around March, I hired a moving team to help me relocate from West Palm Beach, FL to Vancouver, WA. The company I contacted was called Everest Relocation. I paid a deposit of $580 and they said we would have an extra 240 cubic feet for additional items. They told me they would call back later to finalize the details since the move was still three months away. On the scheduled pick-up date, a completely different company showed up at my parents' apartment. This is where We Care For You movers come into the picture. They arrived and explained that our job had been contracted out to a company based in Fort Lauderdale. They told us that the inventory was not updated correctly, so our moving costs would increase by almost $1200. Since the deposit was non-refundable, we felt pressured to pay the additional charges. While filling out the additional paperwork, they told us to put an earlier availability date so that I wouldn't have to wait too long for my stuff. I followed their instructions and they left. Little did I know that I wouldn't see my belongings for over a month. Two weeks after the pick-up, I had already been in Washington for a week and was about to start my new job. I decided to call We Care For You just to get a quick update. I spoke to a woman named Jessica who told me that my items had not yet left Fort Lauderdale. I asked when they might leave, but she refused to give me an answer. She basically said I would get my stuff when I get it. A few more days passed and I started to worry that I wouldn't have my belongings for work. I called again for an update, and once again she couldn't give me a definite answer. She said they wouldn't know until 24 hours before. On my first day of work, I received a call saying that the truck was finally on its way to Washington. A week went by and I decided to check in on things. - PLEASE SEE PDF FOR CONT.

We Care for You Movers of ***, , was sublet by my original mover, *** of ***, , as the long-distance mover from ***, , to ***. My first altercation with this company was on May 27, 2022, where I met them at my former sold home for pickup of a few last items. We Care for You had already picked up my belongings in my storage unit. One of the men had me sign several BLANK documents which I was very uncomfortable doing! He insisted! From there, they were to go to my daughter's storage unit and get her belongings. I am 69 years old. I flew with my small dog to *** on June 2nd. Cubic Feet Charge: $6175.00; Fuel Surcharge: $926.25; Bulky Item: $300; Extra Stop: $250; Broker Fee: $1752; GRAND TOTAL: $9403.25 - Payment to Alliance=$2424.13; Payment to WCFY=$1932.70 x 2 = $3865.40 (Amounts added to blank document I was TOLD to sign!) When WCFY arrived at my new storage unit, they demanded another charge of $3103.72 to be paid, totally unknown to me! I talked to their manager on the phone and he was VERY rude & yelled at me that if I didn't pay the $3103.72, his drivers would take my lifetime of belongings back to *** and sell them! Of course, they knew I had no choice but to find money to pay them which was difficult to do for me! I very reluctantly paid them, they unloaded my belongings, and left. As it turned out, WCFY only brought a FEW of my daughter's *** worked with Alliance Movers for months trying to get this resolved. Apparently, WCFY lied and said that my daughter's unit manager would not sign off on the items, so they couldn't get her stuff! This is an out and out lie, because she got some of her things! The whole fiasco has been a nightmare from the start and continues to be one because she is paying $600 month for rent of unit in *** and struggling financially because of the high rent that never should have been left there in the first place! I want a refund of $3103.72 for stress & unfairness!
My move went from Florida to Texas, it took 6 days and although my price changed a bit my overall process was very transparent and seemless, very happy using this comapny
