Matt Lapierre was quick to "sell" me a custom website, which I soon realized had already been purchased by someone else. He cashed my cheque, and has failed to refund me in full despite admitting to his wrong doing. Jennifer, on behalf of Matt, reviewed their accounts and acknowledged that there was a debt owed to me. She provided excuse upon excuse as to why they had not refunded me, but assured they would do so. It has been 2 years.
Be advised of fraudulent business practices.
Failure to refund
After working with Mathew Lapierre at webShark media and not getting the product ( website with custom work) that we had originally wanted we were offered a refund by Mathew himself. January 2015 We took him up on that offer after months and months of his work failing to meet the agreed upon expectations. However, we were never refunded. Excuse after excuse was made for the countless times we were promised our refund with 24 hrs or by some other date and every time we were deceived. DO NOT work with this company. I am shocked at how this individual even maintains a business. Liar is the only way to describe someone who promises a refund countless times and never follows through.
Failed to provide refund -after he offered FULL refund- for not delivering on what was promised for a website we made advanced payments for. This man is a scam artist
We had the same problem when we paid a deposit and then the work delivered was unfinished and poor quality. Then we searched the web and found the exact same design and even some content that Matt had copied from someone else. Still looking for a good design agency after this guy stole our money and won't answer emails or phone calls. Avoid this guy if you want to get a website actually built
