Weis Markets checkout lack of service

5-11-22 approximately 4-30 pm . Upon checking out,of course there are no registers open.So you are forced to use a self chek-out.My wife tookall of our items scanned them thru the scanner,we finished and paid.Upon exiting the store we were rudely stopped and told we had items that were not scanned.I was next to my wife and heard the scanner beep as she put each item thru. there was two employees standing there and said nothing.We were taken to customer service where we were treated like criminals. We were told that it is are responibility to make sure all items are scanned.This person who only identified itself as crime prevention would not show any I.D. even though she insisted we show ours.I have been a customer of WEIS for 30years but,I will never spend another dime there. that store has been going down for a long time and it finally hit rock bottom. This whole ordeal was very embarassing and humiliating.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response. I do think I will talk to an attorney to discuss my options on how we were treated.

Weis Markets Front end

At approximately 8 pm I went in to mifflinburg weis market to get a few things and cigs. Paid for cigs first then my groceries. There were 2 employees up front. One is a very polite young man, the other was an immature young lady. I paid for food with food stamps and must have accidentally hit the round up button. I know I cant do that so I thought I hit the right button, I did not. When I was trying talk to her she (joy) I think is her name. Kept looking at the young man and I could see the damn smile on her face even under the mask. She kept lookin at him like I was an idiot. I was talking to her. I finally said young lady stop that, dont look at him. Look at me. Dont embarrass or humiliate me. Just stop it. I then told her she would get old one day if she was lucky. I dont care if I did make a mistake she is unprofessional. You have alot of that at that store. The young man just fixed the mistake and was very polite to me. He did not embarass me but she did. I was also told by one of your employees that many of them make fun of us here at 100/101 e. Walnut st. She said that one of them called me a [censored] when I was walkin away coz I complained on him. I only complain when they give me reason. Im nice to everyone til they give me reason not to be. That young lady doesnt realize how bad makin fun of someone feels. Or just doesnt care. I rarely go over there anymore and this is why. Tho there are people here where I live with mental disabilities I am not one of them. I was hurt working my [censored] off. And even still I catch the smart [censored] comments they throw around abt people 'who live here. That aint right.

Desired outcome: nothing just tell that lil immature young lady not to make fun of a 60 yr old with cancer. One who got hurt doin work she'd never be able to do. I was disabled cutting timber.

Weis Markets Check out lines/service

I frequently shop at Weis on Schoenersville rd. in bethlehem pa and have found that the cashiers are not properly trained and have very limited knowledge as to how to process a customer paying by check. Often the wait in line is in excess of 20 minutes until a manager is located to help solve the issue. Also they only ever have two check out lines operating in this store at all times. Now, you need to understand that you have an elderly population that shops there and pays by check so it would make sense that you should properly train your cashiers to facilitate these transaction. After mentioning my experience to my co-workers most of them echoed my frustration and stated that they have stopped shopping at this particular Weis all together or they just use it as a convenience store to pick up a few item never a full cart do to check out issues and the time spent in lines. Also the workers in the seafood department are hard to find and often offer no eye contact to get their attention to be waited on. For these reassons I will be driving a little further to Wegmans which is a shame because I felt you had good products. Also you may want to consider hiring more than 1 manager for the entire store. You have very good products but extremely poor service.

Weis Markets Termination

Hello I have a few question on how I'm able to reach the CEO of Weis? Trying to get an email or letter out to him or even speak with him I was an employee at Weis an trying to reach out to see if Weis participates in the federal bond program, I was hired on Dec 12 2021 an have worked almost 60 hours my first 2 weeks on being hired, I have left my prior job for Weis offering me more hours I was open honest about my background in the interview an was asked have you murdered anyone in the past 2 years an I stated no, I have always wanted a chance to become a new face of a franchise an willing to dedicate whatever it took, in all my life of the working field I have never woke up at 530 to be at work at 7 riding my bike freezing cold, I have was dedicate to weis also was a gold member family spending almost 10, 000$ this year there that I was unaware of but to be terminated after I done left my only other job that gave me an opportunity in town of bloomsburg pa on a bad note for Weis market an this is what I get in return, busted my behind theses past 12 days froze getting to work not only for a paycheck but to make sure my weis customer were waited on an found everything they were looking for, always asked for donations, for the children's cancer foundation, an my work an manners, bagging, were so liked by the customers they have offered me cash tips stuff mangers have never seen working they as they stated, Weis really screwed me an I'm just trying to reach out to see why they have worked me theses past 12 days like a bull an now terminates me, I can only show Weis markets I'm not a kid anymore I'm an adult with a family of 4 total in my house hold an pay support for 3 other children I'm not the person I used to be I have served every consequence for the crimes I have committed an learned from my stupid childish mistakes, an I just trying to figure out is there any way if I get a federal bond program willing to cover me as a worker witch they pay a certain amount of money to have me as an employee with a criminal background for 6 months an not fully sure but think it could also be extended if needed, an that's pretty much it, Jess harker Employee number 198619 [protected] Thank you

Weis Markets Seafood Manager

Seafood department always smells. numerous times I bought shrimp from the department manager it was slimy and had a horrible smell. you can smell the seafood once you walk into the store. A lot of times the manager is no where to be found and is in the back break room wasting company time, which she also gets people fired for doing the same things she does. she doesn't update her case log at all so the other employee never knows what is good or bad in the case. The seafood manager is the biggest hypocrite in that store. I have complained numerous times to the store managers about her and nothing gets done because it is a buddy system. The seafood manager needs to be fired or moved to another store. she doesn't care about making people sick from giving them bad product or because she over items so she can sell them instead of throwing the bad product out.

Since the day she began she has had personal items stolen 2 days in a row including prescription meds and has been bullied and called a White [censored] and a Mother [censored]ing [censored]. Weis Markets IN General produce, outdated stuff, sale markdowns not honored

Ive been going to weiss in Tannersville since 2016 and am tired of throwing out money. I Bought 4 or 5 dollars in peaches that looked good but were dried out mush and discolored. I threw out a $8.99 container of chicken walnut salad it tasted like Vinegar. Tasted and threw out. Crab salad just not good. I dont go to the deli department because the offers are not reliable. im tired of throwing my money away.
Also too many times the sale listed on a item i picked was not honored at the registar. Gee im a sharp older man so ive been to many stores in my life and this store is ONGOING. You have to know what to avoid.

Weis Markets Fried chicken breasts

Despite advertising to the contrary both on shipt and weis markets online ads that state Weis sells fried chicken breasts indivually, both your Lewes, DE and your Millsboro, DE stores are REFUSING to sell the fried chicken breasts separately and they also REFUSE to make them for you. For approximately one year, it was not a problem and now neither store will make them, even if you request it from a manager.

Desired outcome: Customer Satisfaction. DO WHAT YOU ADVERTISE.

Weis Markets Hamburger, Angus beef

Bought Hamburger pak " Certified Angus Beef. checked out at Hillsborough Nj store " Item CAB PRIME BURGERS 11.99 F" on
07/21/21 04.11 PM. Went home, only 7 min ride, my daughter
looked at package and said this package is bloating and full of air,
return to store, Returned hamburgers to store today 07/22/21 at 3pm. Was told there is no return for cerdit per store policy.
Having been a custumer st this store for many years I can not understand why no refund.

Weis Markets Weis black cherry ice cream

I have always purchased your black cherry ice cream as it was always loaded with black cherries, however a week ago I purchased again the black cherry. This time it took me about 1/3/ down before there were any black cherries, I know prices have been increased, but why is quantity decreased. Seems like now there are less cherries in the ice cream. I am very disappointed as I love the black cherry ice cream and upset with the quantity of the cherries.

Weis Markets pharmacy

I Am a HC Person 100% DAV and I normal get them bring my wife med to the car and they refuse said they do not do it anymore . I Have So Much trouble at the Pharmacy in Mifflintown Weis Market, Mifflintown, PA. I Have So Much Trouble I going to take my Business Else Where. I get the Problem. I like pick up all my Meds at end of the meds. I tried of get the run around. unless you take care of now. you will loss my business

I was in the Westminster Weis Markets, 630 Baltimore Blvd, the other day. The seafood department was stinking up the whole store. When I went into the bathroom oh my god did that stink. I complained to the manager, I think his name was Daniel, he said 'What do you want ME to do about it?' Is that anyway for a manager to act??? I'm never going into that store again.
