Hello, I wanted to address a phone call to your Milford, Mass Home Goods store, which I made this morning April 20, 2024. I am having vocal issues and I have to speak in a very soft voice. I understand that this can be difficult over the phone as well as in person. However, it does not give anyone the right to be inconsiderate. I was calling to check on...

Everytime I go to the Homegoods in Waldorf, MD the managers and the workers are talking about the customers with no regards to the customers in their presence. This is bad for business! The workers and managers need to go to customer service training on how to treat customers. I asked one of the employee's where I could find a particular type of candle i...

Night shift lady manager
This lady manager keeps giving me a very bad customer service experience. I have a tax exempt account register on your file, but this lady did not want to look for my information on your computer stating that the sales tax permit does not have my name on it. I explained her that the permit has the business name not my personal information, although I am the owner of the company and I showed her other paperwork with my name but instead ignored me and did not take the time to assist me, she also raised her voice to me and to the poor cashier that was trying to help me.
Claimed loss: This lady did not want to accept that she made a mistake with my transaction, instead she yield at me and then ignored me, at the same time that she did the same thing with the cashier.
Desired outcome: Train your employees with professional manners.

Top mgmt, believe the field mgr was advicing staff to be suspicious of me. Wow. Was is my body language, why I shopped, the purse I was carrying? Holy [censored], do theys send employees to detective schools to learn body language? No wonder the rest of this once good store is going downhill fast. They have lost my business and Iadded up all my reciects from last year and I spent ober $4000 grand there...
Not this year or ever again, you are lsong customers very fast. bye.
Desired outcome: None. They suck.
Customer service.
Today I visited the HG store on Cactus near Tatum in Phx. I am in an orthopedic boot due to recent foot surgery and find it very painful to stand for more than a few minutes. I had my knee scooter with me since I didn’t find HG provides electric scooters for handicapped customers. Even with my knee scooter I’m in serious pain on my non operated leg due to having to put most of my weight on it.
I had 1 item I wanted to purchase. I asked a cashier if they could check me out vs I stand in line of about 12 people. The cashier asked who I presume was the mgr or head cashier, or maybe just another cashier. Young, plump, blonde told me no, I should stand in line behind all of the customers. Found this person very rude, no compassion and lacking of good customer service. Needless to say, I left the item I wanted to purchase and walked out. May never renter to that store because of one lousy employee.
Desired outcome: Teach your employees good customer service. And provide electric shopping scooters for handicapped customers.
Agreed! Lousy, "don't bother me" attitudes with both the hourly Associates & Mgmt. They all seem to HATE being there, so why should we want to go in with awful attitudes from the very people working there...
Pricing has gone up ten-fold too! Wow. Their prices have risen very fast and this is now nothing but a walk thru of the clearance aisles now and then. I tried that, shopping only clearance...WHAT A FREAKING MESS! Items not in there bags, broken items everywhere, trashed and obviously not picked up at all. Left to be a pig-sty...just like the dirt all over the place and missing price tickets, which means a long wait at checkouts as no one seems to want to be called up and get a price...lots of crappy attitudes from people who are not happy to be working there. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE...ITS A MESS IN MOST STORES, PRICES HAVE GONE UP A GREAT DEAL AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE...FORGET THEM.

The manager of the store by mistreating me for their mistakes

A worker named Rebecca Wells buys all the hard to find (HTF) Rae Dunn and other items to resell and makes lots of money on it. I will include 1 pic of her posting and trying to resell a very sought after item. After she had no success, she returned it to the store. My Friends and I have been at that store everyday for 4 weeks. We take turns throughout the day because we track the HTF Rae Dunn stuff that we need to go with our collection. So we know about when the stuff will hit that store. Farm Fresh canisters, Lemon Measuring cups, White OINK pigs, S/P pigs and White Little Piggy HAS NOT been put out. Instead worker or workers buy it and resell it. That is so unfair. Also there’s a girl named Emma and Alexa that are completely rude to us everyday. Idk if they are involved in the scam or not. They act guilty but I have no proof on them. I’m going to include a pic of a very sought after item and it was posted on a public forum to see if there was interest in a raffle. I would love to talk to someone from Corporate about that store. Thank you. [protected]
Desired outcome: That workers put ALL merchandise out on the floor and they are taught how to be polite to the customers
Hate to tell you HG doesn’t care sorry. HomeGoods just wants the sales. They are greedy company who treats their customers and employees like crap. Just sayin
Manager unprofessionalism and discrimination
I work in the HomeGoods at Visalia where my manager has been acting completely unprofessional talking to workers not doing any work for more than an hour and has done this on multiple occasions, on March 25 8pm because I happened to missed a spot to clean and she told me "your the reason [censored] doesn't get cleaned" I proceeded to ignore the comment and continue my work the next day I check my schedule I have 4 days off I chalked it up as a coincidence untile I came back on March 29th 6 :37 pm - 7:45 pm and after being there for only half an hour she called me to the office for a write due to performance issues claiming I'm not doing my cleaning responsibilities right despite the fact that I wasn't there for days and she never called me into the office beforehand for a verbal warning, I refuted it then she proceeded to record it in her computer anyway, I went back to work cleaning as instructed and due to a fault of mind I happen to miss a single spot to which she raised her voice at me saying "did you not wanna clean or something just tell me you don't wanna do the job if your not gonna do it right". In response I fixed what I missed and went back to work afterwards I noticed I had a week off after this which feels like she's clearly targeting me and my schedule which is abusing her power and is completely unfair or right she need to be held responsible for her unprofessional actions
Desired outcome: I would like my write to be taken off, the manager fired or to not be scheduled when she's scheduled
Staff
Store 197 in Savannah is extremely racist! the short lady “Debby” in customer service is ALWAYS accusing me of stealing. I often catch her talking about other customers to employees. Stacy, the store manager has HORRIBLE ENERGY to the young lady with the red braids with the curly ends. I was at the register when Ella, the manager told another employee that she would “punch them in the mouth”. The Whole store needs new management and employees.
Management
Manager Amy is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Talking to associates about how she wants to beat and talks crap about employee because she doesn’t want to her job and tries to pond it off on employees. Telling employees she doesn’t like certain employees about what other employees are doing wrong but instead of talking to that employee. Something...

Really bad customer experience with HomeGoods.
I had to return something and didn't have a receipt - my bad. They said they were not able to look up my purchase in their system which most stores can do now days even if the customer doesn't have a receipt. I offered to show them a copy of my purchase on my credit card statement but that was not going to fly either. The only thing they said they could do for me is give me a store credt.
Nobody told me I was not able to use this card for purchases online only in-store. Store I want to use the credit is not accessible in my area hence the reason for on-line purchase. Nobody willing to help me out.
Desired outcome: Either refund my card or let me use this store credit for online purchases
Apathy
At the Collegeville, PA location with only one worker on the floor and an amusement park line of customers there is ZERO SERVICE.
I asked for help multiple times. The first time he pointed and said 2 aisles over which was NOT TRUE.
THEN I asked for the dimensions of something that wasn't clearly marked and he rebuffed me again so I said, you need to be able to stop for a minute and answer quick customer questions...he cut me off and shouted God knows what at me to the point where I said, forget this! I will NEVER shop in that God forsaken hell hole again 🤬
Desired outcome: Get your workers to understand that without customers THEY DO NOT HAVE JOBS 😞
Store customer service
I went into your Tracy, CA store and attempted to return a defected item and because I didn't have a receipt and only one of the items had the tag on it, the sales rep stated she could only take the one item back. I didn't want the items to be dealt with separately, so I I ask to speak to the manager, so she could see they were the exact same item The...
Read full review of HomeGoodsPoorly crafted chairs I paid $800 for
I bought 6 chairs about a year ago from your Marlton NJ location. I paid about $800 dollars for them. Nearly all six of the chairs have broken
from the poor quality of the chairs. The chairs are made of compressed wood that only stapled into the the base or perimeter of the chair. I have tried to fix them with additional screws but again there is a problem with the quality of the workmanship. They were made by a Chinese company called Fortunate Sapphire International out of Shanghai China. I am fed up and disappointed with these chairs I want to return them to get a refund
My name is Paul Whyano my cell number is 609.314.3793…. this is terrible! My wife and I spend a lot of money at tj max and homegoods we have purchased other furniture from your store but this is horrible.
…. I have never been so disappointed with workmanship like this please give me credit and take the chairs back…. thank you
Return - Customer Service
I tried to return a Halloween decoration today with a receipt that was over 30 days in the original packaging. The cashier made a big deal of it and called the Homegoods manager over to look at the return. She would not let me return it even with the receipt and even with Halloween decorations in the store. Both women were very rude and condescending to me. I told her I should be able to return it even if it was more than 30 days with the receipt for a merchandise credit. She said NO I was wrong. I looked up your return policy and it states I should have received a store credit.
Desired outcome: RETURN product for credit. Employees be educated about their companies return policy and ensuring the customer comes back.
A racist Karen making very rude comments
I am a frequent shopper at home goods and not once have I Encounter a racist cashier until I visit the New Jersey Edge water store the manager do not treat her associate with respect and a cashier bye the name of Karen is very loud, racist and unprofessional apparently she was not trained probably because her customers service is not how home good should be represented and instead of the manager treating her co-workers like second class citizen she need to do better with the grooming of the store I am very disappointed in the treatment my family and I receive I will blast this store all over social media to let people know the customer service is horrible I hate to see this happening to customers and employees but let’s see how home good take this complaint into consideration
Desired outcome: Karen need more training and the manager needs to become a sale associate until she can learn to treat her co-workers like real people
