To Whom It May Concern:
I would have never imagined that because I stayed at home with my father 24-7 taking care of him... that would have a bearing on the equity I inherited in his home, passed directly to me through trust; I only asked Wells Fargo Bank to modify the existing secured loan to the same principle net ammount as I could have (as Agent and attorney for Him, my father) ANY time...the FULL $362, 000.00+ Dollars Available to Him;(of which the 140, 000.00) Remained in a Wells Fargo Local Account, all the while, Earning the Wells Fargo Bank daily Interest. The Wells Fargo Bank at Fort Mill S.C. did not make any attempt to respond to my request, during the time needed to "avoid their acceleration" of the loan to the point that it has (as a result of their actions) come to.
Wells Fargo Bank actions by Mss. Dana Flota (and others) have done irreputable damage to my person, and as a result, may have even lowered my FICO SCORE of 761.Wells Fargo Bank made the Loan based Entirely upon Equity in the Homestead, and nothing else, and under that same exact premise, did discriminate against my person and character by not contacting me with a response to my loan modification request and proposal;insuing resulting hardship and suffering on my part, parcel, and person.
Any legal actions as a result of these actions on the part of all individuals in connection with Wells Fargo Bank will be further construed as in colusion; and party to such actions.
Sincerely:
Rev.Mark A. Stoddard

We went into the Roseville Woodcreek branch for a simple deposit and were coerced into changing over our business account. After 2 hours with a bank clerk, Alex, he said we would save on our monthly $3 fee. Our monthly fee was only charged if we did not meet the minimum requirement of $1, 000 per month. After 90 days, we received our bank statement and our fee had increased to $12 per month, even though we had over $3, 000 in our account.

We went into the Woodcreek branch and were told we needed a debit card to have the monthly fees waived. We specifically told Alex we were not interested in a debit card and do NOT want one. He said there would be no problem and there would be no monthly fee.

Alex was on paternity leave, so we met with Sierra. Sierra was not helpful and more than happy to help close the account for us, after being a Wells customer since 1996. We then met with the branch manager, and he said Alex was correct and we did meet the minimum requirements, and would waive the fee, as well as try and find out why we are being charged.

Several weeks past, and we received a telephone call from Brian, the branch manager. He said it was their error and the only way to waive the fee would be to signup for a debit card. We do not want a debit card And have no interest in one. We informed them that from the beginning. This is wells Fargo error and they refuse to correct it. They have told us they are not able to convert our account back and the original account we had no longer exists. The account fees have gone up more than 300 percent and they are telling us that is business. They do not care about the small business owner and will screw you over anyway they can. Very poor customer service...vwe arectaking our business else where. Very sad after being a customer for over 17 years.

Lets all unite and sue Wells Fargo! To me they did what is considered by law impossible - returned a deposited cashier's check written out of Wachovia! Supposedly they called and confirmed that the funds are available, I deposited the $15k check and 2 dsys later the money was out of my account. They told me the check was stopped. You can't stop a cashed cashier's check. Well, apparently nothing is impossible with them. You's think they'll offer some compassion and advise and follow up - no. Explain why they told me the funds are available when if fact they weren't - no. They did find the time to send me a copy of the check back plus to charge me $12 for sending it to me.
We all need to stop banking with them and put them out of business!

This week, I got a new check card in the mail from Wells Fargo Bank. As I picked up my phone and dialed the 1-800 number to activate my new card, I was surprised to be greeted by a real-life operator. She proceeded to read me a painfully long script about a 'protection' service that costs just $1 a month (plus $14.99 each additional month), conveniently deducted from my Wells Fargo checking account. She ended her script with the word "okay?" I told her I was not interested. Again, she read another, shorter script - basically saying that I would receive written information by mail, but still saying that I would be signing up for this same service for $1 a month + $14.99 and ended on "okay?" Again, I said no I am not interested.

What bothers me is that I had to listen to a sales pitch (twice), ending on "okay?" which, to me, is an unethical way to prod people into signing up for a service. I don't care what service it is, don't try and trick people into saying "okay" and signing up for it.

Our son opened his first checking & saving account with Wells Fargo Bank a few months ago after being told that they waived the monthly service fee for "all college students".
He was concerned about the recent increase in debit card fees charged by banks, so we went in to a local branch to ask about their policies concerning debit card fees. A teller told us that the fees were indeed starting in November of 2017, but that his account would be expempt because it was a student account.
When the monthly service fee (separate from the debit card fee) posted to his statement, we went in to a local Wells Fargo branch to check into it. We were told by 2 people at the branch that the monthly service fee could be waived for him only if he attended one specific University in town. There are a total of at least 3 colleges in our area, and he doesn't attend the one specified by the bank employees. They also told us that his account would NOT be exempt from the debit card fee, regardless of which college he attends.
We had numerous checking and savings accounts with Wells Fargo, but we are closing all of them. We will NOT do business with an institution with so little integrity that they will mislead a college student into believing he has benefits that they have no intention of providing to him. The fact that they pick and choose which colleges students must attend in order to be eligible for the fee waivers that are advertised for all "college students" is discriminatory and unfair.
We will not do business with Wells Fargo again.

Needed funds to cover my mothers nursing home expenses was told by Wachovia that there must be life insurance on her refinance loan or the loan would not be permitted.

I agreed to this request and the loan went through. My mothers name was only name on New loan, she died over two years later. Informed the bank of her passing and inquired as to the life insurance, none had been put on the mortgage as the bank said they would have to have put on the refinance mortgage.

Now the bank is going to foreclose on me, her only hare to the home. What can I do?

Wells fargo, yuba city branch is the rudest most awful customer service i have ever seen. I didn't want to open a bank account and I made the biggest mistake picking wells fargo to be my bank. The only two checks I wrote bounced because they can't do their job. One check was for our new home, we almost lost it, on christmas eve, because wells fargo employees don't care. We went into the branch 3 times to try and save our home so our kids wouldn't be homeless on christmas, guess what, wells fargo could care less! My husband had to take a day of work and drive to citrus heights to deposit cash into our lanlords account to save our home on sat. Xmas eve. Instead of enjoying xmas shopping, I was @ home stressing on loosing our home we just moved into, u would

think that the employees and management would care or have a heart, they don't give a ### about no one!

Sept 2017 - I was at the bank and approached to take advantage of a 3% savings account promotion. I worked with Shahnaz Saralak. She was supposed to have set up an auto transfer from my checking there to the new account to avoid fees. She failed to do that and fees were charged. I went to a different branch and told them that there was a mistake. They said that there was no proof and I would have to pay the fees. I closed the account to avoid future fees. I went back to Shahnaz who remembered me but said because I closed the account there was nothing she could do.
I find this unbelievably deceptive in a business practice for the bank to make a mistake and not agree to correct it. I will be changing my direct deposit for the checking and ending my relationship with this bank. Please be aware that even if they make a mistake you may still pay. Hmm sounds like the problem we have now in the finance sector.

I received a money order, purchased, by a friend in Califotnia, from Wells Fargo bank. When I presented this money order to the Wells Fargo branch in Hamden, Ct., I was told that there was a $ 10.00 fee for cashing the money order since I didn't have an account at the bank. This was not a perdonal check, or a business check, or any kind of check, but as money order, sold by and drawn on Wells Fargo bank, for which the friend probably paid the Wells Fargo bank in California. Chargig a fee for c ashing their own money order, while it may be legal, is beyond sleezy/ If the party had puchased the money order from the Post Office, or Western Union, or any other honest business, there would be no charge for cashing it.
This practice is outrageous. I certainly would never bank with Wells Fargo, and would advise anyone else to avoid this contemptible bank.

Someone has done fraud on my wells Fargo Bank Account. Wells Fargo Bank has not answered anything I have asked them to on regards to my account. I canceled my Wells Fargo on 12/19/11 because they said I needed a co-signer in order for me to get a student loan but the interest fees were too much so I decided Wells Fargo was not the place I wanted to receive my Student Loan. When I canceled they gave me all the money back I had put into my account except for the dollar I told them to give to charity. It was not until a month later after I canceled my Wells Fargo account I found out someone has done fraud on my account. On Dec. 16th 2017 I walked into Wells Fargo and gave them $200 Cash out of (my own Pockets). They have in their system that someone inside of Branch did an Online Transfer of $200 from a Credit Card to my account which is in my name consequently that puts me in a situation to pay the money back. I tried speaking with a store manager to get the problem resolved but she told me they will not look at the camera to prove I walked in and gave them money and never did an online transfer unless I speak with a lawyer but right now I cannot afford a lawyer until I receive payments and when I do; I plan to get this problem resolved. She seemed to be on the defensive side but I explained to her numerous times that’s it is not my intentions to get any fired in their Branch but my goal is to get this problem solved so that my credit isn’t in jeopardy.

i feel that wells fargo is a nightmare, i loved wachovia bank, it is simply a shame that we on the east coast lost that beloved bank and we were automatically stuck and at the mercy of wells fargo, the people are nasty, above nasty and bad attitude and ruthless about their fees, they act like our money is theirs to keep, they do not make it easy to withdraw anything in there, i am very very unhappy with this bank and i am bank shopping now, anything would be better, i miss the good ol days! gone are the friendly bank tellers and the lollipops, now ugly red wagons and baren atmosphere, thanks for listening, peace to all.

I opened an account with Wells Fargo. On Saturday, I deposited a paycheck from a major employer in Seattle that was written on a Wells Fargo account. This was done with a teller and not through an ATM machine. Over the weekend, I tried to buy gas and groceries but the account showed that my paycheck funds were being held. I just called bank and they told me that because I deposited it on Saturday, that it would not process until tonight (Monday) and funds should be available tomorrow. I find this outrageous given that the same bank will just cash the check if I ask for all the money, but when I deposited it, they didn't honor their own check for almost 72 hours! I know of no other bank or credit union with such audacious banking practices. In fact, in the past, Bank of America cleared my paychecks written on Wells Fargo account in less than 24 hours.

To "The Facts Only Please" and "bellamie". FYI, before all this banking mess, Wells Fargo set up my automatic payments for the 15th of the month. Yes 15 days after the due date of the first day of the months. After all this mess, I stopped automatic withdrawal, because they added incorrect fees on two different occasions. After that, I also received harassing phone calls, sometimes 5 a day, and the only way I could get them to stop was to sign Wells Fargo paperwork. You guys must work for Wells Fargo, Otherwise, why would you be looking at a complaint forum. Satisfied customers would not be looking at these forums. Wells Fargo uses predatory practices, nickel and dimes their customers to make millions in unnecessary fees, and have no desire to provide customer service. If I want help, the people at my local branch are not allowed to help me. They have to send me to someone somewhere else who doesn't give a donald about helping. If I could get financing else where, I would dump these chumps. But I have to wait until this banking mess, which Wells Fargo was a major factor in creating, is straightened out and other banks start lending.

They are unable to complete simple tasks like "when I tell them to pay a bill they do not send the money" This has happened over and over. I had perfect credit until they took over Wacovia Bank. I have never missed a payment in my life until they took over. I pay my bills as soon as the bill arrives. I pay early and sometimes, like my mortgage, a month or two in advance...but not with these butt-heads. I have received another bill stating that they did not receive last months payment. They cannot even get paying them selves correct. My mortgage was sold to WELLS FARGO who is being paid by WELLS FARGO and they were sending it to the wrong address and then the Wells Fargo is too stupid to tell wells fargo that they were sending it to the wrong place and it went on for months and now they are saying that my mortgage is in arrears even though it should be a month or two in advance as it was for ten years or so and they are too stupid and riddled with INCOMPIDANCE to figure out what they did with my money! Worthless garbage and the worst excuse for a bank I have ever dealt with.

State of Nevada (shamefully so) usees WFB to run your unemploment through. Get your funds through their ATM's . Well, theiir ATM cut one of my 20's completly and cleanly in half and they refused to replace, give me name of the ATM servicer and told me I was not a customer. I happen to know how atm's work, having handled them for years and know their was an error message and machine shut down and they could tell what happened, plus they have video if necessary. Contatce main office and the manager there was deplorable, unprofessional and so very nasty and rude. SHe refused to give me any info . I have contacted State Division of Unemploment and The Governor's Office. This is one of the most vile, nasty, cheating banks in the US-- Wells Fargo needs shut down and class action suits filed in multiples for everything they have done to SO many consumers

Wanted to make everyone aware of how horrible Wells Fargo treats it's prospects.

I own a small business and four months ago was sold, hounded and chased until I opened accounts and started to do business with Wells Fargo.

After four months of countless questions, conference calls, meetings and empty promises, they have decided my business is not good enough for them. Wells Fargo came to ME! I did not go looking for them. Waste of time, waste of resources and waste of government bailout money.

As a small business owners, I don't have time to play around with these idiots at Wells Fargo. Put your money somewhere else. Wells Fargo is NOT the place to trust. They lie on the advertisements they play constantly in the radio and then they lie right to your face.

Now you know!

I was told all sorts of things when I opened my account. We do business with of the largest transportation companies in the US.. We were told those checks wouldn’t be held. It is a case by case decision to deposit immediately or not. The CEO of Wells Fargo was in Birmingham not long ago. Believe me if we get him again, he will get an ear full The promotion they ran was 100.00 when opening the account according to the rep who did our paper work. Said the deposit should show up the next day. Two day later after not receiving the funds as told, I contacted the branch manager. She said oh no, it will be 90 days! So--my 90 day period will be up Monday. Let’s see what happens. Recently I made a deposit from one of the Companies as listed above. After it not posting 2! business days later, I called yet again. This was a Tuesday. The manager said refer to your deposit slip. I told her accordng to my deposi slip, the funds should be available the 16th, the day before I called. She started looking & her reply was they pulled the deposit and sent it to the back (the back of where?) then proceeded to tell me either the funds weren't available or bad checks had been written on the account. I was livid She just slandered a huge company. They aren't happy either She did not release my deposit until the next day, the 18th. I had several auto deductions, etc. return. I have spoke with 2 reps from Wells Fargo. One gave me one 35.0 credit and said she didn't have the authority to do more. I told the manager it may be we needed to do something different because of all the lies and you can't even believe what they tell you or what they put in writing on your deposit slip. She said maybe you should go somewhere else! I WAS FURIOUS. I BROUGHT UP THE FACT THAT THE SIGN ON THE WINDOW WHEN GOING THROUGH THE DRIVE THROIUGH - STATES ANY DEPOSITS MADE AFTER 4 PM WILL BE POSTED THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. I MAKE MY DEPOSITS PRIOR TO 4PM AND THEY'RE NOT POSTED. THIS BANK IS UNREAL OR AT LEAST THEIR EMLOYEESS ARE SOMETHING ELSE. WHAT POOR, POOR, CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM STILL PURSUING THIS UNTIL I GET TO THIS LADY'S BOSS. UNBELIEVABLE! WE WENT WITH THIS BANK DUE TO IT IS CLOSE TO WHERE WE LIVE & THE CEO WAS SUCH A NICE GUY SO MY HUSBAND SUGGESTED WE GO THERE. I don’t believe for one minute the higher ups would put up with this! Will let you know what happens.

Wells Fargo aka ASC, is our service provider, Citigroup is the lender.
The middle man say you qualify for assistance, and the lender doesn't want to whork with you, with no explanation.

Was informed that the banks had already been sued by the government for there misrepresentation in the loan modification process. Forbearance's agreements made and meet, completed all paper work and request made by Wells Fargo/ASC, often being informed they had not received it to the point we had to call and confirm all paperwhork was received and completed and correct.

We even had a specialist so we should not have to speak to a different person every time and to no avail, we did not speak to him once in a years time. We spoke to all the other specialist in the office an by the time the manager step in he stated our file had been move to another specialist with a total different area code. I thought it odd since our records and there records still stated our specialist had not change. When his manager call to confirm what I said was correct.. To the managers amazement when the agent stated Mr Doby was still our specialist..

Talking about the left not know what the right is doing. I know there has to be some kind of law against a specialist sending you letters stating it was good talking with you and thank you for taking the time to speak with me, when you've never had a chance to hear a live voice unless it was your co-whorkers taking a message and informing you he was not available and they are not familiar with your file.

We need some lawyer that is willing to take the time, because I know this can't be legal.

This is the worst bank on the planet. It is unfortunate that Wachovia Bank was bought out by them. Their CS is horrible, they order transactions and don't post deposits right away. They do everything they can to make sure that your account is overdrawn so they can assess fees. I finally had to close my account because of their shady business practices. I was a customer of Wachovia for a very long time and never had a problem with them but as soon as Wells Fargo took over everything went to hell in a hand basket. It will never matter when you make a transaction on your account. You might have enough to cover the transaction when you make it but then all of a sudden something with a bigger balance comes through and they post it first which results in every thing after it bouncing and accumulating fees. This is no way to do business, but they seem to think this is acceptable. Someone needs to do something about our banking system in this country .. it is completely out of control!

I had not logged into my Wells Fargo acct for several months. When I tried to logon I was told my acct was blocked for inactivity. I called in to have my password reset. I was asked the original amount of my loan down to the penny. I cannot answer that question because it is a house loan that is over 10 years old and I do not remember. My original loan documents was lost in a fire many years ago. I was told without the original loan amount They could not reset my password for me. I asked to be transferred to someone higher up that could help me. I was sent to the fraud dept and got the exact same answer. I was told I have to go into a branch to resolve this issue. I live in La Paz, Mexico and the nearest branch is 1200 miles away. When I explained this to the customer service desk I was told BUMMER. So here I sit unable to logon to may acct to check my balance. About 6 years ago I closed all my other Wells Fargo accts for the same reason. Horrible customer service. Wells Fargo is TOO BIG TO FAIL but TO STUPID TO STAY IN BUSINESS. Wells Fargo has absolutely no idea what customer service is.

Just prior to Christmas shopping season I debated as to which credit card to use for purchases. I saw an advertisement from Wells Fargo Bank stating they would protect my purchases from loss, thief and damage. When I called the phone number they gave the same pitch and then added a disclaimer stating all the exclusions to the coverage. After repeated times listening I determined that nearly only if the item(s) were forcibly taken (gun point) and a police report issued would be covered.
The deceiving advertising and my calls and emails being unanswered to a reasonable degree lead me to believe this is purposeful false advertising and nearly a consumer fraud.
The emails I have received were signed by agents with only their first name and initial. A call to customer service in reference to the email was met with a "We do not have a person with that name working here"
Very few of my purchases are being made with this card and those are not large items.

Wells Fargo Emptied my checking account because of a collection that wasn't mine. The debtor had the same first name and a similar last name. They did not check the social security number on the court order they just took my funds. When I called about it they gave me very limited information and a phone number that continually went to voice mail. I had to do my own research, find the debt collector, gather the correct information and present it to the bank. All I asked for was a call back and an apology. While the money was refunded I received no call or apology and when I went to my local branch to complain they told me to write a letter. WORST SERVICE EVER!

Mine is a personal complaint - they coverted and I immediatly saw an increase in fees and services are worse - not that I completely loved Wachovia, but at least I found their information to be accurate, easy to follow and recieve. Now since they claim Microsoft Money has been closed for use, I have to buy Quicken to transfer my online information? This at a cost to me of almost $50.00 - of which I am certain they are getting a huge benefit! I have my account linked to my Visa for overdraft priledges the cost has doubled, and they transfer even if an item is just held, or a vendor puts a hold. Then I have a surplus and the fees to boot! Not a happy customer, time to find a new bank!
This bank is fprone to fraud as well - already had 2 e-mails since the conversion sent to me asking for personal information - forwarded to Wells Fargo. They did nothing to my knowledge - customers beware!
