Late Wire Transfer
A wire transfer has taken over 3 business days so far and the bank still says it'll take another 2 days or more. I wired money from the US to Qatar literally overnight. Beginning the process with my bank in the US around 9pm Qatar time Tuesday the 19th and when my bank opened the next morning my money was here in Qatar. About 12 hours for an international wire. But when I tried moving that same money from my Qatar account with HSBC to Islamic Bank Abu Dhabi the money left my account overnight like before but almost 3 days later it still has not been made available in Abu Dhabi and they insist it will take another 2 days. I initiated this wire Wednesday the 20th, my money left my account that night yet here we are Saturday the 23rd and I'm being told I have to wait until at least Monday the 25th or later. How is it possible to take this long? I know the bank has been open during this time, they're open right now while I'm writing this review. I understand if a weekend slows things down but, it's not the weekend and it wasn't the weekend on Wednesday when this wire was initiated. I have spoken with people at Islamic Bank yesterday and today and they say to just wait. This wire should have been processed by now and now it looks like I have to wait until the next business week to start. Wires like this take 1 to 3 business days usually. The last 2 I did took about 12 hours. So how and why is this taking what will become a full business week? My other 2 banks processed this wire overnight, within 12 hours less than 1 business day. Why is Islamic Bank so slow and holding my money for so long?

Bunch of scammers and unrelated to islam.
I paid my credit card based on a lability letter issued from them, after a few months they credit my card for a service that was rendered prior to the issuance of this letter. Their claim was that it was my responsibility to call and ask to close this service. If so, why they didn't charge me in the consecutive months, and only in the month when the renewal of the card was due?! my complaints took over 9 days, to get answered knowing their lead time is 4 days!
Desired outcome: Omit the extra charge which was paid earlier in the year as part of the liability letter

More than 20 years with ADIB bank I am very disappointed to receive such bad service in the end, I visited the branch on 16 June23 filled a form to cancel my credit cards and pay my outstanding loan, I had sufficient funds to do so. I want to leave the country since it’s my end of service. It took me 4 visits to the bank and it took the bank 25 days to cancel my credit card 11 July23, but this not the defect and failure of the bad service they will take 45 days from cancellation date to release amount of 135% of my credit card limit. Also for no reason the bank was initially holding 181% of credit card limit until I had to fight. The bank internal departments are not connected at all, everyone will tell you it is not with me or not my fault. In the end my money will be blocked for 68 days from the date I submitted official request, I have to leave the country and maybe come back again, it very bad end with ADIB, will never recommend to anyone.

Mortgage loan Processed on 11 th May and she took 8000 aed difference and we cancelled Mortgage loan till now 8000 aed is not returned.
Second complain, she cheated us in loan process which failed us in purchase of property.
We asked her cross check Arabic POA paper and make cheque on his name.
Which she failed and said no emails for communication.
Another complain , where we had email as proof . she sent No processing fees but later she charged us processing fees saying typo error.
We keep calling caller center but nobody is taking complain aggainst Agent Usha asher.
She is cheating just for sales of loans.
Unprofessional and fraud agent behaviour for such reputed bank.

Mobile applications
Mobile application scanner is not working, they don't wanna own the issue. Only solution is to come to the branch even after i sent all my personal documents.
Would be great if you can solve your issue internally and dont accuse customers of lying and blame it on the device, lighting and etc...
You have a problem solve it, fix it and get a better customer service trainings.

Adib loan settlement
I have a loan from Adib. I got 230k and have to return 280k. The balance is 39k (7 installments). Now they have hold my 61k end of service benefits.
I have provided them my new offer, new visa, emirates id, salary transfer certificate from my new employer. Visited various branches many times and unlimited calls to their customers service. Exchanged many messages through their twitter but still the process to release my money hasn't yet started.
They have no system or established procedures to be followed. They simply behave like robbers. Giving no reason, no logic.
How can I git rid of this mess?

I am writing to say that I was really disappointed with your relationship manager service (Ali Abbas)
I am having two POS machines in my store , he provide me one , I keep requesting for other one many time without any response from his side.
He has block my number not to call him any more.
That is the worst service I ever have.
Today the machine from your bank to is not working, I am losing business as of that worst customer service.

Emails are ignored, manager blocked me
The problem with this bank is that I absolutely cannot do anything! I currently live in another country and I wanted to change the telephone number linked to my account, I called Customer service year ago and she said I need to write an email, And so I did. No one answered, I wrote other @s. No one answered. So I wrote my manager, She just blocked me!
I need to pay fees, But without an access to my account I cannot do anything.

My name is James Franklin Houston Peret, Brazilian citizen, living in Sao Paulo now, an ex-Etihad Pilot and an Investor in Abu Dhabi, I was a B777 Captain in Etihad from 2013 to 18, in 2014 we purchased a property in Saadiyat SB12/094 Villa 193, happy with the investment we kept it when we left UAE.
Last November 11th while visiting my property in Abu Dhabi, I stopped at ADIB Al Wahda Branch to update my passport details for the second time (already done in 2018) also included documents proving ownership of our property, therefore the need to have an account in UAE to maintain the property.
When I left in 2018 UAE the manager at Yas branch guaranteed that a savings account would meet the requirements for a non-resident and solve my need to have a account to maintain the villa as long as I need.
On 11/25/2021 the account was closed without any previous communication and the balance is not available, I had AED 20110.15 to maintain our villa.
I wrote to Mr. Ahmed Ba Abbad (ahmed. [protected]@adib.com ADIB Al Wahda Mall) that updated the needed documents to maintain my account without any reply 3 times.
I wrote to ADIB Customer service on 02/12/2021 and received and received an automated reply dated 06/12/2021 now and no further reply.
I wrote to UAE Central bank 2 days ago without reply.
I can't express my disappointment having my account closed this way, I have fulfilled the needed demands to maintain a savings account in UAE to support an investment but someone decided without any communication cease our relationship despite proving documents of a AED 5.5 million investment that now becomes a challenge to maintain leading me to sell asap as I will certainly not be able to open another account, much less keep it using foreign currency to pay bills and the inability to receive rental in local currency.
The total silence from all entities is unacceptable and my balance must be returned asap, I offered to have a friends account to transfer to, I need to have access to the money.

I have been visiting adib branches from 14/10/21 just to correct my name which was entered wrong by them and they could not fix this problem.
Bank informed to contact technical support and every time i call them they register new complaint but nothing is done till now
Really it is very disappointing that bank don't know to handle customer or to solve the problem actually created by them

One time password is not being sent to my international mobile number
It's been a week ADIB can not resolve my issue with getting OTP to my international registered number.
I believe the issue is with incompetent customer representatives and mid-level managers. For instance one of them called Abdullah Hashim called and tied to sell me a story That issue is caused by my mobile number and that i have to change my sim card to the new number. I've asked him if he was 100 % sure he couldn't answer and said he was assuming so.
Getting salary for a job, duties which intentionally being neglected, is haram money. Don't they undertsand that.

I have been trying to get hold of someone at ADIB to change our profit rate of 5.99% for nearly 3 years without any luck.
Their head of customer service is unresponsive and I don't know who to turn to as cannot afford the high repayments. I have emailed and called numerous times but seem to hit a dead end each time. With UK banks the process is simple as the customer service will offer options for rate changing but with ADIB I'm just hitting a dead end.
I would not recommend anyone take a mortgage with this bank in UAE, you are better off going to an international bank that can offer a basic level of customer service and responsiveness as well as options for rate changing.

Swift transfer
I transfered funds on 22nd sep to international bank in usd currency for my son tuition fee but #adib transfered in aed currency due to which beneficiary bank returned funds back in my adib account, two of the call centers supervisor mr muhammad ahmed and mr. Karim confirmed that adib transfered funds in wrong currency which is aed and assured me they will call me back (this they told me 5th october but till now they didn't call me back.. Whenever I call to call center someone pickup call and disconnect on my face.. Its very disappointed the way adib treating me.. I am a banker too, just thinking for other customers who are not educated and not well to deal with all these issues..

One month to receive a credit card
I have applied for replacement credit card since the date of 1-may -2020 and I have not received anything and it has already been one month, however I got what's app message from aramex with preferred delivery date of 6-6-2020 and 30-5 which almost one month I raised complain # [protected] as it's very long and I won't it for eid shopping they promise but unfortunately noting I don't won't the card anymore and I don't won't to be charged for it.

I went to apply for bank statement today at ADIB Jumeirah Branch, one year statement was required and I was charged AED 105/- for this service, which was ridiculous and much higher than other banks. Considering using this bank for over 8 years I was ok with it. Then I received a call from a terrible banker after 2 hours saying "I should charge you AED 26.25/- more coz of a mistaken calculation", to which I declined, he replied rudely "listen to me...". This is not the banking service as ADIB published, the arrogant attitude is not what I expected as a long term user. I told him you shouldn't charge me anymore after all it's done and he went like whatever and charged me immediately, apparently you don't care if losing a loyal user like me. Good luck

In dated 30.09.2019, I visited sahara center ADIB branch around 6.25 in the evening and requested to provide me change of only 500 dhiram local currency change but teller brutally refuse and treated me like I am animal. I was shocked about service ADIB is providing. Even if there is no policy to provide change to walk in customer but ADIB teller must be curtious and generous. Even other customer officer there directly said " we do not provide service to walkin". I was wondering, is there is any check that ADIB management check the service status of their staff or they just be free to do any hash thing. Only thing which I understand allround the world is the quality service bank provide even there is no policy to entertain walkin. UAE is observing year of tolerance and here is ADIB staff which shows otherwise. I felt so much pain and dishonest and insulting how much routely that teller behave like I was begging. SHUT UP, SIT THERE WITH SHUT YOUR MOUTH, GO AWAY etc these are the words he uses.
Embarrassment that I felt ADIB management cannot understand. I hope ADIB management should atleast guide and provide training to teller customer service counter staff to behave and understand customer HUMAN BEING.
UAE IS MULTI CULTURE country and banks is the main face of it.
