I ordered this on Nov14 2023 was given a delivery date first week of December. I go to check my order and see it is now on back order until the end of December first of January. No notification if I had not checked I would not have known. I called and was told the order was canceled and replaced what!? I never canceled the order I was then told it may have looked like it was in stock when I ordered, however it really wasn’t this is not true because if it’s not in stock, it will not let you order at all so I don’t know what happened. When I brought this up, she then went and checked with someone and told me that if it’s in stock, it may have been X number of people ordering at the same time and sold. The others were shipped out mine wasn’t they refunded my money and I said no one even told me I never got an email. I never got a text message yet. You’re quick to text and email when you take the money out of my account but then did not know it all until I checked, horrible customer service west elm should know better
Desired outcome: My item shipped and delivered as promised. This is on excusable for a company such as west elm in for it to be canceled me not told the last I knew the delivery date was the first week in December.
