I would like to express my dissatisfaction with West Jet. On 10/06/2023, my husband, I and my daughter left Montreal with final destination Orlando/USA (flight WS593 - PNR: ZUMDIM) The flight was delayed for 2 hours. We had to wait inside the plane because according to the pilot the plane was undergoing maintenance and needed to refuel. As a result of this delay, we ended up missing the connection from Toronto to Orlando, causing enormous stress, as everything was already scheduled. The car we rented to pick up on the same day was no longer available and we had to pay a lot more to reserve another one. The Disney parks schedule for 10/07/2023 also had to be canceled because there would be no more time.

And if we thought the disorder was over, we were wrong. The return flight was also delayed and one of the suitcases broke. We had a bad experience with the company. We don't travel anymore and don't recommend it.

I complained about the suitcase on the website but we haven't heard back yet.

Regarding the difference paid in excess for the car rental, we will probably also be at a loss.
