On 3/11, I signed a contract for new windows to be put in my crib
On 3/11, I signed a contract for new windows to be put in my crib. The first time they tried to install them, there were mad messed up sashes. Like, 16 out of 19 windows had grids that didn't even line up. They tried again, but still had to come back for a third time. That attempt was a fail too, but they fixed some of them. But the fourth try was straight up whack. The dude from the window factory came to my place and straight up said the windows weren't good enough to install. Now they gotta come back for a fifth time. This whole thing has been a major pain in the butt. I already paid for the windows, except for $1,000. And let me tell you, it's been hella hard to get in touch with Window World about this mess.
Waited over 6 months for our patio door
Waited over 6 months for our patio door. Halfway through installation, we noticed multiple issues with it. The grids weren't even by the naked eye, the inside seals were incomplete, the grids didn't connect, and our siding wasn't put back properly. The installer agreed and called the company, blaming the manufacturer and saying we needed a new door. First, they boasted about using the best manufacturer during the sales pitch. Second, they clearly didn't inspect the door before installing it. They finished what they needed to do, and just 15 minutes later, they called demanding the remaining balance and refusing to order a new door until we paid more money. No one apologized for the inconvenience. The next day, Brian, the owner, called. He wasn't apologetic, but instead made some derogatory statement about two Mexicans on a battlefield. He demanded money and was very rude. He said he wouldn't get us a new door unless we paid, even though the job and door weren't what we had agreed upon.
We signed a contract with Window World of Joliet on 2/3 to have 17 windows and a back door put in
We signed a contract with Window World of Joliet on 2/3 to have 17 windows and a back door put in. Window world came out on 6/3 and 6/4 to put in the stuff. It was during the install of the back door we noticed the first issue. We then realized the salesperson didn't fill out the contract right even after us talking a lot about wanting blinds put in our back sliding door. 'Cause of this issue the wrong door panels were ordered and put in. We ordered the new door panels within a few days with an unexpected added cost. The new panels were brought on October 1, and at that time the installation team brought the wrong thing and tried to put it in, telling us that's what we ordered. They then checked the packaging and saw it was the wrong thing. We had to ask for the old panels to be put in and waited an hour extra for them to come back and put in a damaged panel with big gouges in it and the door didn't close right. Another panel was ordered and put in on Dec. 22, 2021. The blinds in the door panel were broken. Another door panel was ordered and we asked for the new door panel to be fully checked before it was delivered. Another new damaged door panel with damaged blinds was put in without being checked before it was delivered on March 30th, 2022. During this whole mess, we've reached out to *** the Franchise owner of Window World of Joliet at least 25 times to try to fix the issue. Every time we've called the office, he's either been out of the office or out of town. He's talked to us a total of 2 times. Every time we call, the staff says it's a manufacturing issue and that they'll talk to the manufacturer and get us a new door. We've wasted so many hours calling to try to get our door fixed and waiting for the crews to put in damaged stuff. A complaint is also being filed with the

I'll also send a copy in the mail with paperwork about this situation. I wanted to replace 2 windows and a sliding door unit in my home, so I chose Window World in Joliet, IL. The total cost was $4,368.00. I paid half upfront, and the other half was to be paid upon job completion. I placed the order on April 8th, and the installation was scheduled for September 3rd. When they arrived, they informed me that only 1 window and the sliding door unit would be installed, and the other window was scheduled to be at their shop on October 9th. The garage window was installed without any issues, but we discovered a flaw in the glass of the fixed section of the sliding door unit and the sliding screen section also had a flaw. The installer noted these issues on the installation form. On September 8th and 9th, I received a phone call and an email from *** asking for payment for the window and door unit. I told her that I wouldn't make the payment until the damaged sections were repaired or replaced and requested the owner, ***, to call me about this issue, but he didn't. Then, I received a notice of intent to lien without any call from ***. I've made 2 attempts to resolve this issue, but Window World hasn't responded, except for asking for payment before completion. At this point, I can't trust or believe what he says anymore. He hasn't made any effort to call me and resolve this issue. I offered to pay $1644.00 if he would sign an Estimated Completion Date, but he refused. That offer is no longer available! To me, he has voided the contract, and I no longer want him to continue. I need some guidance on how to resolve this issue. Like I said, I'll be mailing copies of my attempts to resolve this issue, but so far, it hasn't worked. As soon as I receive my complaint file number after filing this complaint, I'll include it. Thank you
