I called and no one knew anything about it. At that time, the date and time was set and all went excellently from there. Chris and the two other men were great, did a wonderful job and all is well. 12 windows were replaced in 4 hours.

We enjoyed working with Doug, the salesperson, the Window World staff customer service and the installers Joe and Paul and the workmen. They cleaned up the areas as they installed the windows. All have been very pleasant and polite. There are two windows that need to be changed out so that will be another eight to ten weeks. Almost all of the windows and sliding doors have been replaced. I really like the new windows and sliding glass doors. What a difference the new windows have made from the old single panes! Great Company!

I highly recommend Window World of Polk County
I highly recommend Window World of Polk County. They recently replaced 4 windows in my home. It took about 6 weeks between the time they first came to the house to measure the windows/provide the quote/answer questions, and when the windows were actually installed, but that was discussed up front, so not a problem. The installer arrived on time, went right to work, and it took about 4 hours to install all of the windows. He was courteous, respectful of our home, and did an excellent job. I'm glad we chose Window World for this project, and would not hesitate to call them again.

I gotten one of my sliding glass doors replaced in 2019 and decided to give them another go for the 13 windows i have in my home. I again plan to give Window World my business when I want to get my front door replaced. Overall I am impressed with the communication, flexibility, and installation that Window World did for me and I will recommend getting your windows and doors done through WW

They started a day early, worked hard and well together, finished a half day ahead of schedule. Worked with us when they ran into problems with fit and finish due to the original house construction. The lead clearly showed me the problems and we worked out fixes together. When I walked around for my own final inspection I found one pinhole in the caulk on the outside of one window. The lead had that immediately fixed. The lead pointed out two windows with defects that require factory parts to repair I doubt if I would have found them myself. While it could be a couple of weeks before the replacement parts arrive and are installed, we are totally happy with our experience with Window World and this particular crew.

The guy who came to sell us the windows gave us a estimate lower than he put in writing. 3,7500 more that was the first alarm. Just to let you know I paid cash for this stupidity. This started May 19 2023 at 9:18am. It's been down hill the whole way. Call they don't answer, Text they don't text you have 10,000 of my money and I would like to speak to...

We are replacing all of the windows in our home for just under $14K. Window World sent a subcontractor named Tracy and 2 workers came to my home on 3/22/2022. They got caulk all over my home, the glass of the new windows, and window frames they were installing. They did damage to every wall (inside and out) that the replaced a window on. They also damaged 2 marble window sills. They also damaged a window frame and tried to hide it by filling in the hole with caulk. There is caulk all over the stucco of my home. Tracy Stated that I would have to get my house painted for it to look good. I addressed the poor work with Tracy when he started the job. He justified the quality of work and continued. Tracy and his team literally were applying caulk with their fingers and not using the caulk gun. My home is left far worse than when they started.

March Ordered 5 windows and an exterior door. Told 14-16 weeks. 7 months later, 5 windows arrive, one incorrect (another 6 weeks for that one). No door yet. One window installed, rain stopped job. 10 days later, arrive to install 3 more windows, brought door, completely incorrect door. If I have to wait another 7 months for a correct, I will cancel and order from a more reputabe company. This whole thing is absurd. I need a door NOW not 7 more months from now. This company needs to rectify this in timely fashion or refund my money for this product.

Window World installed multiple windows in my home. I was cleaning a window approximately 3 weeks ago and the window fell out of the wall. It did not break, but the screws that held it in were damaged. I contacted Window World to come for a repair. They advised me that a scheduler would contact me to make an appointment. That call never came so I contacted them again. They advised me the scheduler would contact me that same day. That call never came. It appears that they do not want to repair their windows. I am quite concerned as hurricane season is here and I have little confidence in their work!

Windows won't work in our home, won't refund down payment. Salesman sold us windows without enough description of how they would fit our manufactured home, made $1610 deposit and waited for tech to measure for fit. After a week or so he showed up and measured while explaining all the different problems with window blinds, exterior not fitting flush, having to build out the sliding door with brick because it's much thicker than existing. Wife got upset and said not to order them, they would be a mess! I wrote cancel, don't order and signed the tech's. (Dusty) form. WW say's no refunds beyond 3-days of signing. We didn't know of the probs. or had the measurements until the tech. arrived and the windows and slider weren't ordered yet. They are shysters'!

I reported a leaky window with floor damage on 1/4. (Windows are approximately 2 years old.) Service came out and determined a new window frame was needed. On 3/23, the window frame was replaced. However the window frame is bowed and the sashes are not level and it is difficult to lock the window. The serviceman said that the frame was defective and a new one would need to be ordered. I filled out the form that said I was not satisfied with the repair. On 3/23, I called Window World because I had not heard back from them. Later that day my call was returned with the information that a new frame would be ordered and I would be notified when it shipped. On 5/17, I called again since I had heard nothing. I was told multiple emails had been sent to both parties involved with no resolution. I called again on 5/24. leaving a message, and my call has not been returned.

First call to Window World 02/3/22. They took our information and said they would give it to the service department and they would set up an appointment. They then hung up on us. 2. Second call to Window World 02/07/22. We informed them we did not receive a call from service and they said they are busy and hung up on us. 3. Third call to Window world 02/16/22. We were informed service has report should hear by Friday from them which would be 2/18/22. 4. Today is 2/23/22 and we have not had any calls from window world. I do not like being hung up from a company. These widow have a life time warranty. I would like to be able to open my windows. This problem needs to be address and an appointment set up. I did not sign the form as I wanted to complete a cost comparison. I decided to go with Window World, contacted Mr. M which came to my home a second time. We discussed his original idea, he removed the original paper work and provided me with new paper work. He removed the original estimate paper work from my home. The company installed the incorrect windows, 3 large ones. I contacted the company the day of installation with a request to discuss the situation with someone. No one returned my call so I called again. I was informed the staff was limited due to covid. I received a rather interesting letter with a time line of 14 days to respond and all the cost I will incur if I do not pay the remaining fee. No call back as I requested.

I placed my windows and doors order with Window World in January , it is now June
I placed my windows and doors order with Window World in January , it is now June. My windows have been installed, however the window in my son's room goes up on its own when opening from the top. As I told the manager at window world, I am unhappy with the impact slider that was installed on my back deck, since it still has spaces and some of the screws that hold the stationary door shows on the exterior(an invitation for a thief to try and pry it open). The screen on the door is defective and needs to be replaced. It was ordered but was told I may not receive it until August. I also paid extra for full screens for all of my windows and they all came with half screens. Again I was told that the full screens were not put on the order by the sales rep and they had to order them. As of today I am yet to have my front door installed due to again the sales rep measuring the door wrong. The door that was sent was 2 inches to short and they insisted that it can be installed with shims.

Paid deposit April 8th for a 6-10 week project. Now going on 5 months and still not able to get an answer for when the job will be complete. Made 50% deposit in April and told 6-10 weeks for completion of project. Now going on 16 weeks with no answer for when it will be complete. When contract was signed was told expect closer to 10 weeks due to Covid 19. Made multiple calls starting at week 10. Never received a call back after multiple discussions with customer service. Sales person called me back at about week 14 and made different excuses for delay. Now sales person on vacation and on permanent hold trying to get a simple answer as to when I can expect the job to be scheduled. Always got different answer for delay, wrong measurements, Covid 19, permitting hold up, person not available. Took me multiple calls to finally get General Manager to answer and speak to me. Still no final answer on installation date. Customer service is terrible, follow up not good, only interested in deposit and sitting n order for four months now. Not a reputable company to deal with.

Purchased windows for installation in 8 weeks. It is now 16 weeks, our windows are still not in the warehouse, and we cannot get our deposit back. We purchased windows on June 17 and wrote a deposit check for $878. This check was cashed on June 26. We were told our windows and door would be installed in 8 weeks. We have initiated contact (when we should not have to, the salesman should let us know of delays) multiple times. Usually there is no one to assist us or answer any questions when calling, promises of immediate call back are not met, and in the end we are told that there are delays from the supplier. At this point we do not believe that our windows will be installed any time soon, especially since we were told today (10/9) that our order is not in the warehouse after almost 16 weeks. We were also told that we cannot get our deposit back. This company's lack of communication is ridiculous. The fact that the customer had to start calling and continue calling to get any type of answer about an order leads me to believe that I cannot trust this company's ability to get my windows installed in a reasonable time frame.

The windows that we purchased by contract were NOT the windows that were installed in our home. We had 9 windows and ! sliding glass door installed on our home on 06/15. The windows that were ordered were not the correct windows. They each had to be modified by the sub contractor to fit in the openings. Two of the windows had over a half inch gap around the window that was filled in with multiple cans of foam. The existing J channel around the windows is very weathered and cracked. I contacted the salesman multiple times to discuss ordering the windows with new J channel. He called me back one time and said he would pull the contract and get back with me. He never did and all other calls from me were ignored. The windows that were ordered by him had a nail on flange that had to be cut off by the subcontractor those being modified. I herd him Tell*** over the phone that he ordered the wrong windows. Our windows should of had a foam seal around the window. Ours did not. Needless to say the windows were installed and look terrible next to the old J channel. I asked*** to look at the job. He admitted that it doesn't look good and stood in my home and told me that the reason he did not order the windows with new J channel is because most people that live in a community such as ours either don't want to spend the extra money or can't afford them. We own three homes in this community and we would have gladly paid the extra cost had it been addressed from the start. My problem is that we did not receive the correct windows that we paid for having to have them modified to fit the opening. On top of that two months worth of electric bills did not change by even $15.00

i ordered windows 3/4.on 7/13 crew arrived to install windows all were vinyl. One of Four large windows had cracked frames. the windows for bath and kitchen were the wrong ones but we accepted one in the bathroom and not the kitchen, I then paid the install crew a check to window world for the remaining balance owed to them. I called and ordered the new frames and the one kitchen window. 9/22 Sam with window world installed the new frames. 10/28 call window world of polk county about when my kitchen window would be in and was told two weeks. 11/10 called window world about the kitchen window and was told a week or two. 11/30 called talked to mary about the kitchen window and she said call back later. 12/2 called talked to mary about the kitchen window, she said it got broke in transit and didnt tell me and just ordered another. She said pam would call me back and she did not call. 12/3 called mary gave me pams number to call her. really bad customer relations here. Pam told me the the window would be here on 1-20-22 I told i needed this resolved and get my money back and she said no and i asked to speak to somebody higher up and she said she was as high as it gets. really bad customer relation here. 12/3 called corporate office complaint dept talked to marty told him the situation he said he would call window world of polk county.1-17-22 called talked to mary she said it would not be in until the middle of february, blamed it on the factory, they always blame it on somebody else I told her i wanted my money back for the kitchen window. 1-17-22 called talked to rebecca at corporate at public relations, said she would call them and call me back, which she didnt. I feel i have been treated wrong here, and i should get a refund on the kitchen window. I will never hire window world again.

The product that was ordered was wrong when delivered. Window World does NOT check the order before it gets to the customer. Installation 2 weeks late We purchased 2 sets of sliding glass doors and 2 external doors on July 2. We were given a time frame of 8-10 weeks with the expectation most likely be 10 weeks. The information received after confirming everything stated Window World would contact us when the order was in and schedule the installation. They did not follow up with us, we had to make multiple calls to them. At week 14 after purchase date, the items were being installed. One of the doors with a sliding set was incorrect. The installer immediately notified the office manager at Window World. This is when we learned that they (WW) do not open the boxes at the warehouse to ensure the correct product was received. They informed us they placed the order for the correct door and would notify us when it is in. We specifically asked if they expedited the order and they do not do that, now the door will not be in until January. In the meantime, we installed 2 door stoppers on the external doors as the paperwork suggests, using exactly what it recommended. One stopper put a whole in the door. We contacted Window World immediately, they would get to it. We happen to have the installers number so we called him directly to help us get him assigned to our issue as the office manager did not respond timely. The installer came over and said the door should not do this and that we did follow the instructions correctly. He took pictures, completed warranty paperwork and said that it should be covered. After no response, we contacted Window World who informed us it would not be covered and they were not going to address. We inquired about a date for our new sliding door and they do not have an answer. We have asked to speak to someone higher up and have not heard from anyone. The office manager was incredibly rude, unprofessional and arrogant over the phone and clearly does not understand how to handle a situation like this to get the manufacturer involved. We are incredibly frustrated and cannot ever recommend this company. We are hopeful that we will at least get the sliding door so that we do not have to take legal action. Right now we are left with blue tape over wholes in a white door (not energy efficient or safe) while we sit and wait.

Contract started on 9.25.2018 with order placed/payment, Installed on 01.09.2019 and still not completed 04.23.2020. (15 Months) Replacement windows and a sliding glass door were ordered on 9.25.2018, and installed on 1/9. From the first install, two of the windows and sliding door were incorrect, but were installed anyways. The windows and door failed inspection twice. After the first inspection I received a nasty phone call that nothing was wrong and they were proceeding with final inspection. The building supervisor because involved for the final inspection, and the inspection AGAIN Failed. Damage has been done to my custom home due to the incorrect products being installed and then removed. As noted in the correspondence I have attached from my inital complain to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and since then in my e-mail correspondence with a manger from Window World of Polk County, the job is still not complete, and the company does not seem to take any responsibility, nor are they wanting to provide me with any compensation for the damage done to my home, in addition to the personal stress and emotional distress I have been dealing with for over 15 months now. I have been spoken to by multiple managers/personnel and installers in a very rude and inappropriate manner. None of the problems I am experiencing with this job or company are MY FAULT. However, that is how I am treated and spoken to as if I am just an uneducated widow who should just be happy with any answer they give me. Every person in this company has blamed the one before for why I am still experiencing problems. It's always someone else's fault, including the company's owner, and each person speaks poorly of everyone else. Nobody has had a nice thing to say about Mark C, including that he doesn't care about his clients or workers and that my initial salesperson had to pay for the incorrect products because it's not the owner's fault it was measured wrong. That sounds unbelievable to me that a company would operate in that manner. I was given an initial discount of 3% for paying with cash/check. Then after the first round of problems I was given an additional 5% discount for the "inconvenience." I know another customer who had just one broken window on her job and was given an "inconvenience" discount for that. Other clients who used different companies have had such problems where they were not charged for the balance due to the amount of issues they faced. As you can read in my correspondence, I have suffered months of intolerable excuses and one problem after the next with no additional discount offered. I have also not been offered any compensation or consideration for the damage to my home, or personal suffering I have endured. I want to report this company due to the non-stop ongoing problems I have experience from day 1. Their customer service is horrific! Anyone I have spoken to cannot believe that we still have not reached a resolution or completion of this job after almost a year and a half. To me this is so beyond unacceptable I can't even believe this is my reality.

I received a window that I did not order; however, Window World would not exchange without charging additional money. This order was placed with Window World on 8/6. I have been unable to resolve the issue with them myself which is why I am filing this complaint. The information below was also put on Google with my rating, along with their response, which does actually nothing for us their paying customer. This is the first time I have ever rated a company, good or bad, but with the weather warming up today, I opened our windows and I became angry and frustrated all over again with the way we were treated by Window Word. Customer Service, as well as their owner, Mark C, is non-existent, as his policy is to NOT speak to customers. We were only allowed to speak to their General Manager who said she relayed information to and from the owner. Our total order for 3 sliding glass doors and one sliding window was $9,485.00. The sliding window opens over the kitchen sink to our screened patio. The one we previously had had 3 panels, with 3 tracks, allowing us to open the window 2/3 of the way to let a in a breeze. The salesman, Tyler, of course saw this when he measured the window but did not explain to us that their 3-panel window only has 2 tracks, allowing the window to only open 1/3 of the way. The cost for the 3-panel was $200 more than a 2-panel window, which would at least have opened 1/2 of the way. This discrepancy was only brought to our attention by the installer when the windows were delivered and ready to be installed. To this day I cannot understand why someone would purposely order a window that only opened 1/3 of the way?! We did not initially accept the 3-panel window and requested to reorder the 2-panel. The General Manager treated us like we were on trial and took up for their salesman who did not explain the discrepancy but who lied both to us and to her, saying he did explain the difference. Again, why would someone pay $200 more for a window that only opens 1/3 of the way compared to 1/2 of the way? The best offer from the General Manager was to replace the window for another $325...after we already paid $625 for their mistake! We even offered to pay half of the $325 but they refused...no compromise! And this was using the new 2-track frame that was already manufactured. After spending almost $10,000 with them, this was the best they would do. Bottom line, we did not give them anymore money and we will live with a window that we hate. Buyer beware...if there is an error or problem with your order it is obvious that they will not take responsibility; their attitude is that it is your fault! Needless to say, I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally. Response from the owner: Mr., we apologize for the inconvenience that you have had with this particular window. It seems the communication in describing the window functionality, as well as your general needs, may have led to some confusion on the product that was ordered. We are using this experience to ensure that our consultants ask our customers more thorough questions, leaving no stone unturned when understanding their needs. Our consultants will also make sure to check the functionality of the existing windows that our customers are requesting to have replaced. We want to be sure that we do not assume anything in the future and verify everything. Thank you once again for posting your comments.
