Wirex scam my x-account funds
I'll keep it short and summarize my case:
1. My Wirex account was frozen in May 2022.
2. After a review process lasting over 6 months with Wirex,
In November 2022, Wirex Customer Support Representative Marharyta contacted me.
The Wirex Review Team forced me to close my Wirex account and assured me that they would return all remaining funds to my bank account.
I agreed and provided my bank information to Marharyta via email.
3. After a month (December 2022), my bank received a refund of $115.
However, this amount only covered the balance in my Wirex current account.
I still have $19,174 in my Wirex X-account that has not been refunded.
4. So, I contacted Marharyta again and again, hoping to retrieve the rest of my balance in my X-account.
5. After a long and patient wait, in April 2023, Marharyta informed me that Wirex would refund me immediately and shared a picture of the Wirex refund bank transfer form.
In this picture, I could confirm my bank information and the refund amount.
6. I continued to wait for about a week, but I still haven't received this fund.
After contacting my bank, they informed me that they haven't received any remittance transfer from Wirex Limited to my bank account.
They suggested that I ask for more information regarding this transaction, such as the remittance transaction number and date.
7. So, I reached out to Marharyta again.
However, she informed me that Wirex's finance department didn't provide her with that information, and she needs more time to find out.
8. Alright, I'll patiently wait again for 2 more months.
Today, I still haven't received the remaining balance of $19,174 from my Wirex X-account!
9. Can anyone advise me on what I should do right now?

Wirex have turned my account in a business account called Modular fs ltd. I had no knowledge and had no agreement with wirex for this business to be opened. They refuse to give me information about the account and are impossible to get hold of. I own a business and wirex are controlling it and fraudulently withholding information for me to get my account information.

Unable to withdraw
Got convinced by someone I met online to invest in wirexsrj.vip which I now know to be a fraudulent crypto trading and investment platform.
I invested $10,000 which I used in trading btc and eth,after my investment yielded Profit of $66,000 i wanted to withdraw but i couldn't. They withheld my profit asking for fees inorder to let me withdraw which is part of the scam.
I reported to the global anti-scam authorities by by scanning a Q.R code which I'll provide below.
This led me to a complaint file where I provided proof and screenshots of the transactions that I had made.
Using this they traced and got back all my money.

I initially invested more than $40,000US to purchase and trade ETH and BTC with wirex limited at the website https://www.wirexsrj.vip. My asset total reached 323329USDT and I decided to withdraw my assets. I was told the withdraw wallet will be blocked until I pay my IRS Withholding which was calculated to be 95,957.9746USDT. I subsequently deposited ETH and BTC worth more than 102,000USDT. Now they claim I need to deposit an additional 10% of the entire 323329USDT even though I contributed more than $44,000 USD of my own funds which are included in that total. There is a threat of 0.1% per day late fee now.
Desired outcome: Return of all or most of my funds deposited with wirexsrj.vip and if possible all of the 281 219 USDT profit earned.
I am complaining about wirex scam
The wirex has stolen my money I sent my money to other exchange from wirex but it is in progress from long time and they are not answering
Account Blocked and Failure to Act
I moved home and advised Wirex of this. I have waited 5 days for the change of address to be actioned. The Wirex Bot is of no use when you ask a question, they are glib and ask for patience. They are rude and patronising in their responses and blame high queries for their inaction. 5 days to change an address, organisational incompetence. They have now blocked my account and I can't access my funds; that's called theft

I sent xlm to my wirex account without the memo , I then contacted support to explain the mistake along with screenshots of the origin and the blockchair to prove it was sent to the correct address but without the memo.
Wirex then said this may take a while its now been over a month and the only answer they keep giving me is its with the team.
I've also checked online similar issues that have proven correct and wirex have done nothing to fix the issues leaving people out of pocket.
I'm hoping this isn't the case but I'm quite concerned that something this minor that takes seconds to sort out is taking this long.
Wirex app theft of funds and account issues
I have been trying to contact wirex regarding access to my account but I have not been able to get any replies. The app needed updating and has since been stuck in a loop saying checking verification and the verification complete. Then loops back again. My card was closed with no apparent reason or any advance notice and then says to order new card which also sends the loop back around. No complaints or emails have been answered and after further research I find the Internet is inundated with the same complaints and threats of legal action. I am 15000 usd down right now and I am not leaving it stolen by wirex with out repercussions to them to avoid the same thing continuing to new future customers. Can you assist me please in anyway.

I have an online account with Wirex. Wirex is a digital platform for cryptos and fiat currencies. I became a client in August 2018.
Complaint
A series of serious problems started in April 2020. Wirex blocked access to my account in April 2020 for no reason. It took two weeks to get access again. In February 2021, my access got blocked again. This time it took several weeks to get access again. A few weeks later, on April 16, I noticed that the account is blocked once again, and without any reason. Wirex does not tell me why the account has been blocked for 6 weeks now.
I would like to terminate my account, and want to move my assets, but Wirex doesn't respond to that request.
I have read similar complaints about Wirex on Trustpilot and other platforms. There are serious complaints in various languages from all over the world.
I believe Wirex is doing this on purpose and that Wirex is a scam.
They may be the next big scandal in the crypto space.
Desired outcome: I just want to get out of Wirex and I want my money and cryptos back.
Address verification
Hi,
Since at least a month I am trying to get my address verified.
It went smoothly the first time when I got the WIREX card.
But now, whatever I send, it gets turned down.
Tax papers, house insurance papers (ABNAMRO) etc. etc. etc. I have the feeling by now they know every detail of my financial life (papers are with address of course), but still I get turned down.
If I ask why that is, I do not get an answer to that.
In the meantime I cannot find my card...
Is this normal?

Transfer still indicating pending, not sent and not received
Since December 1 2020, I have been trying to find all possible ways to prove that Wirex is not a scam, On December 1 2020, My cousin transferred £2000 to my Wirex account, it was not credited and his bank has told him that Wirex has recieved the money, that same day I transfered £500 from my Wirex account to my friend who wanted to buy a flight ticket, and the £500 indicated pending on my WirexApp and till this very moment ( February 11 2021 ) it is still showing pending. I have contacted them via chat and email. and the only thing they have been saying is that my complain would be forwarded to the relevant team. I have not seen my £500 and the £2000 is nowhere to be found, Wirex has not answered any of my complain concerning this issue till date. I am really dissatisfied and disappointed in Wirex. Yet they are still sending emails to refer a friend, my question is what do I tell my friends that you want me to refer. What services do I tell them that Wirex has rendered to me that would permit me to refer a friend. I have check for reason not to call Wirex a scam, I have not seen anything. PLEASE WIREX REFUND MY £500 AND £2000 BACK TO MY COUSIN.

i have sent bank statement also photos of my driving licence etc and the say they cant verify my account i believe this to be a crock of crap
i have sent a email after email and still nothing im getting depressed about the whole thing and need my account to verified ASAP

I tried to verify my account direction too. I leave 2 monthes without solution and with my account Blocked. Wirex doesn't give any solution.
I just sent the file to my lawer. Don't use Wirex.
wirex token exchange and withdrawal of funds
29.10.19 during all day, I wanted to sell my Wirex tokens. There was price pump (more than 90%) and I wanted to sell my tokens in price ranging from 0.025 -0.03, but due to technical issues on Wirex side (both platform and app) I couldn't do it. They made exchange available only when exchange rate dropped dramatically.
I suspect manipulations and scam from their side. Somebody (may be Wirex by his own or someone else it doesn't matter) pumped the price, than Wirex closed their platform and app so people couldn't sell Wirex tokens. May be employees and insiders could do this on higher prices...
More over at next day i decided to sell my tokens and withdrawal all funds from this scam project. And they sad that I am can't make outgoing transfers...

ordering card
I have been trying to order Wirex card for about 4 weeks but unsuccessful, i have contacted customer support several times but now my phone can not be verified, i conctacted customer support and i received verification code used it as i was support to but still unable to get to the next step when ordering the card, i'm stuck in one place which is verification.
I don't know what to do now, i really need the card. Please can someone help me

Hello 14 days ago my grandad transferred £15, 000 from he house sale money never made it to my account 3 days later the account has been closed they then said in a email that they have returned the money to sender but yet 11 days later still no money has been returned plus my account has been closed they don't have a contact number the number on back of card for costumer services has nothing to do with wirex can someone please help me this is a joke I have attached a photo of the email from whenThey said it will be returned to sender
missing funds from my wallet
I invested £5000 in February in bitcoin, using wirex and swissgold global. This week i removed the last $600 which was all that was left in either wallet. Prior to this I had never withdrawn anything. I searched my account transactions using blockchain info and have seen 31 transactions taking all of my Bitcoin to 31 different addresses in August 18. I was not aware of this as the transactions never showed up in my wirex wallet.
I have not given anyone permission to take this coin, and both wirex and swissgold are denying any knowledge of the transactions. I need this investigated please, I do not know what further information you would require. I have attached some screen shots of the transactions showing every withdrawal going to a different account number.

insecure product and customer service is terrible
so my problem started on the 03/12/2018 when i noticed all my funds had been transfered into bitcoin and transfered out without my authorization. i.e wirex never sent me an email to confirm sending funds. so i contacted support and told them the problem. followed up by an email stating the fact of what happened. they blocked/froze my account there and then. The next day 04/12/2018 they enabled my account and sent me an email saying any more problems please contact us. Which i did asking about my funds that were illegally transfered out of my account.
you guessed it...no reply...sent a further 4 emails...guessed again...no reply...

whilst in telegram and on twitter i noticed a few people having the same problem...starting to worry me at this point...
so with no reply to emails and no direct telephone number available i had no alternative but to telephone the financial ombusman...
very helpful. i am in process over sending them my screen shots and emails i have received. including the chats in telegram. directors names and business address. my next stage at this point is to raise a claim in the small claims court and let them decide. I hope it doesn't get that far though but with the lack of communication from wirex they leave me no choice.
i use 2fa, vpn (( sometimes )) but more importanly i have a static ip address
clearly they can not cope. i have received ticket number for complaints by email that were not meant for me. so this in itself breaches data protection.
i would urge anyone to take precaution and do your research before proceeding with wirex

I have transferred a large sum of money to WirexAPP.com and they have not been able to confirm receipt or credit my account within 5 working days.
Keep telling me that they are waiting for response etc.
In the UK payments are done instantly, they supplied me with the account number and sort code for an account, I transferred money, and now is like it is missing and no one has it.
Absolute disgrace, they should not be aloud to trade.

I deposited about 100€ on my account one month ago and it didn't arrive. Was I scammed or not? I tried to submit a ticket to their customer service, but it wasn't answered.
I feel like they stole my money and were not going to admit it.
I am not sure whether I was scammed or not, but I am definitely not going to use services like this again. Too risky, especially, if you give them your hard-earned money... Please, be careful...
Last january, wirex closef m'y account arguing cheking procédure.
Since this Time, they are keeping m'y funds, unable to refund me.
Customer service gives Always thé dame résponse, and i am still waiting.
