I have been using this world remit for last one year and gathered some voucher by referring friends. Now I started to use these vouchers one by one but suddenly disabled my account giving no explanation why! I called and mailed them several times but they can give me no reason why they did it. I have been using Worldremit for about one year without much issues. However in December 2017, one transaction was held up and Worldremit requested my latest bank statement. I sent it without delay. Waited more about one week but no communication from them. I called their customer service four times and each time I was told that it is in the process of verification. Since my recipient needed money badly during Christmas seasons, I ended up sending three more times. All of them were held up and after one month, there is no indication what is holding up the verification.
They took money from my Chase account and holding onto it for one month!
It is very fishy and company in need of money behaves like this. Are they on the brink of Bankruptcy?
I suggest you stop using their service.

this morning I was checking my account balance and there was a transaction of $1369.99 taken from my account that I didn't authorize which left me $1000.00 negative in my account.i found out from my bank that the company that took my money was worldremit, I called them and they saw the transaction .The agent told me because I didn't authorize the transaction to get in touch with [protected]@worldremit .com .

What the heck is going on? Last week on Monday I used Worldpermit to send some money to my family living in the United States. They haven't received anything. I called WP customer support and was said that they held the money to check the transaction. I have never heard anything about things like this, but I am not an expert and who the heck knows what kind of procedures they have there.
However, the money hasn't been received yet. Customer care provides no reasons why. Do you want me to report to the authorities?
HI, I also used their services last week Thu 23. Nov 2017. I've sent the money to my mom, money never came. I tried sending an e-mail no one replies, I called 3 different numbers, nobody picks up. This is a phishing site, the worst thing is that I don't understand how did google listed them out as a first option. This has to be stopped.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REPREHENSIBLE. The "Live Chat" is never open. The last time I called, "Your estimated wait time is 21 minutes". I'm guessing they tell you that even if it isn't, just to make you go away. USE "Xoom.com" or "Remitly", not "World Remit". They really did me dirty. No warning. Nothing. Just de-activated my acct.

I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authority regarding transaction issue. I was supposed to receive 350 NZ$ + 320 NZ$ within 4 days of the transaction. I sent two back to back remittance of with the following details:
Transaction Number: [protected] Amount Euro 10 Dated 26/10/2017. It was credited within 15 minutes of transaction and marked as paid.
Transaction Number: [protected] Amount Euro 3000 dated 26/10/2017. It is showing paid in WorldRemit.com website however the amount has been credited in my Account.
Transaction [protected] was pending long for technical error. WorldRemit.com sent me a mail that my Indian Bank Account Holder name and Recipient Name is not matching. I realized that I created the recipient name as my wife's name. I sent a mail on within 5 minutes with correct account holder's name. And they processed the payment after 4 hours.
I raised three complaint in their website. Complaint number [protected], where I was said that money will be credited to my account in 1 business day. This complaint was raised on 27/10/2017.
In the second complaint number [protected] dated 30/10/2017, they confirmed me that the money will be paid by today end of business hours. If it is not done, I need to provide my bank statement.
I sent the bank statement 1 hour ago and called their UK number. They told be the money is already paid to their local agent in Kolkata India. Local agent has also paid the money but they received a note that the transaction is rejected due to mismatch in account holder's name. Right now nobody has trace where my money actually is.
WorldRemit tells it is paid.
Local Agent (As confirmed by WorldRemit) it is rejected.
I've contacted my Bank just now and waiting for their response.
I'm disgusted with WorldRemit.com where they advertise that the "Money is in Safe Hands". I feel it is a truly unprofessional company.
I have the following questions to the company:
1. If a transaction is rejected due to non-mismatch of Recipient Name, how that got processed with incorrect name even if the correct name was provided in email. I've received a confirmation as well in mail that the Recipient Name in the transaction is changed.
2. How can you mark a transaction as paid when your local agent is saying the money cannot be transferred due to Recipient Name mismatch.
3. I'm asked to contact my bank and sort out the matter. How unprofessional is this company that asking to find out the lost money by their mistake.
Though I've contacted my Bank to get trace of this issue however I'm in shock that This WorldRemit.com has cheated me and stole my Euro 3000.
Even the customer care is also useless. They are telling me that the money cannot be paid since I provided wrong recipient name.

I would like to ask regarding the money that was transferred to my BPI account last Sept. 15, 2016 with the amount of P40, 309.00 by Estelita Rinon. I checked that there was no remittance that was sent to my BPI account. After Sept 15 on that year, I went to the bank several times for follow-up but the bank said that there was no payment from WorldRemit. Kindly verify if the it has really been transferred to my BPI account. I would like to have a copy of the soft copy or print out to be send to my email address: [protected]@yahoo.com. On Monday, October 2nd, 2017 about 3pm I made an online transfer (Trans# 244WR17843963) to a relative in Ghana. Late evening I received an email that my bank account has been successfully debited and the amount will be credited to the recipient's account with two business days. After two business days the money was not credited to the recipient's account so I called Worldremit in the afternoon on Thursday, October 5th, 2017. A few hours after speaking with one of their customer service agent I checked my account with Worldremit and found that transaction was completed and that the money has been paid. I called my relative and was told no money has been paid to his account. I called Worldremit again and was told they've contacted their local agent in Ghana and waiting for response. I've called Worldremit on Friday, Saturday and today, Monday October 9th, 2017 and they're still telling me the same thing that they are waiting for a response from their local agent in Ghana. I'm really angry and disappointment with this company. They've taken my money without sending it to the recipient. I want my money to be refunded. Please don't use their service.

I spent 3 hrs yesterday playing phone tag between my USBank, Visa, Visa verification AND Worldremit spending over 1/2 hr of phone time trying to talk to a customer service agent which IS rediculous. BUT what is WORSE is that after telling me they took the block off my account I made ONE transaction to myself, and when I attempted to make the next to my wife it was already BLOCKED again...what has happened to the servixe...I used it easily for over a year and now it doesnt work and you LONG phone waits are rediculous...hire more represntaives...

I have been using world remit for a few year now. In general their service has been good. However, they have gotten greedy over the last few months. At first, there transaction fee was 0, then it went to 2.99, today it was 10.99 for 200 US.
Talk about taking something good and ruining it. I have used their service for hundreds of transaction to my family overseas. What was good about it is that I could send small amounts from the comfort of my computer. Now, with this rediculous rate hike I will no longer being using them except in extreme cases. They have done the same stupity that Money Gram did and I think they will pay the price for it. I know, I will no longer use them except in an emergency.

I've been a most satisfied customer for the fast three years or so...except that most of my main transactions are to SWITZERLAND, but unfortunately this country is NO LONGER BEING LISTED, and this since now almost one full year! When I complained to WR, I was told that their current license had expired and had it had to be renewed...but this was now six (6) months ago that I got this kind of reply; true!

I did contact the customer service of World Remit and was told that it is their ends fault that the money was not transferred. They also sent me an email on how I can fix the problem but I didn't receive any. I also always waiting on the line for hours just to get a representative from world remit.
It is a hassle for me and a waste of time since there is no resolution that is being done with the problem. And, it is a lot of money we're talking about.

Yes, after more than 1 week. I am thinking that it will really take sometime to process the money if it is a big amount. My sister who sent us the money has made many calls regarding the transaction and it made us also very frustrated and stress. Because it's the first time she sent big amount of money through Worldremit. Usually only in small amount.
I also have read reviews regarding worldremit that they also have issues when customer sent big amount of money.
Or just call their cust service everyday.

I had made good experiences sending money from my german bank account to my chilean one but this time I´m still waiting for my moeny and an adequate customer service from worldremit. More than 10 calls later 6 email and providing all teh information I still didn´t receive my money.

I had received a charge on my debit account from this company, and have never done business with them. Their fraud department told me that since the transaction was complete thru a online website of theirs, the client had already received the funds, so they would not credit my account. I should see if my bank would credit, but it was not their responsibility.

I sent money from Dubai to Zimbabwe on the 6th of July. The money was taken out of my account but never paid in ZImbabwe. I recieved an email telling me to upload documents on the website which i then did. Until now no payment has been made, but worse still customer care has not responded. I called and was put on hold for more than 30 min.
This is RIDICULOUS, can someone please respond or just give me my money back!
