The driver took a big detour
I took a taxi of yellow cab#1119 from Grand Hyatt Seattle to East West Bank in Bellevue in the morning from 8:35am to 09:19. The driver asked me to input the address in his mobile by using google map. The distance showed 11 miles 16 minutes. While the driver didn't follow the map, he choose highway 90 which was the opposite direction with the map, which distance suddenly increased to 14.2 miles 44 minutes. The whole ride costed me $48.8.
Yellow cab company
I called Yellow Cab tonight because (I have seizures and therefore not allowed to drive) I needed to be somewhere before 7 PM so I could get tickets for a jazz concert that started at 7 PM. I called the Yellow Cab operator at 5:45 PM to ask for a taxi. The operator, collected my information and informed me that my taxi would be there within 15 to 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, when the taxi still hadn't shown up I called them again to find out what was going on. I found out that the operator/dispatcher wasn't able to contact any drivers for a long time and when she finally did contact one she'd given the taxi driver the wrong phone number that I could be reached at. After many more problems, I was finally able to talk to the taxi driver. The problem is that by this time (6:50 PM) even if the taxi driver were to be at my house) right then, I still wouldn't have enough time to get to my concert before it started, so I canceled my taxi ride.
I was certain if I call a taxi one hour and 15 minutes before I needed to be at my destination (even though it only takes 15 minutes to drive there) I would be able to get there a little bit early but apparently I was wrong! I called the operator back to find out what I could do differently in the future in order to be able to get to my destination on time. After she apologized many times, she told me that she's not sure what went wrong this time in the she proceeded to apologize a lot more.
Honestly, if this was the first time that this had happened it wouldn't be a big deal but because this is now about the fifth time that this happened I'm really upset and unsure what I can do to prevent it from happening again in the future!
P.S. Does anyone know of another company that does the same job as Yellow Cab does? Because I'm not able to drive yet I require someone to drive me to my location when I'm not able to take the bus there. Because Yellow cab company has proven to not be very dependable, I really need to find another cab company as soon as possible!
the driver overcharged me and was very mean and nasty and he kept reaching under his seat and threatened me to pay b4 I we reached my destination
When i got in the cab the meter said 3.50 b4 i got completely inside the cab i take cabs to and from the location and the destination and i have never been charged over $10.25 and he charged me 18.25 so i asked him to let me out 2 blocks from my destination and the meter was at 11.25 i was picked up at 4800 south beach the newport building and my destination was at 7234 s.University and i also requested he take a quicker route and that was also ignored by the driver i think the cab number was 2881 or 2801 and i am not using this service ever again and will also be warning others not to use yellow cab. Thank you
yellow cab company & yellow cab driver 770
Between the tell end of 2015 up to present I file a complaint with the dispatch supervisor against the yellow cab driver number 770 Hispanic male. I called for a yellow cab pick up at my old resident at the time 13935 Hillsboro St. Apartment 21 Houston TX 77015 using my Harris County Rides Card to go to my job at Avis/ Budget Rent a Car, the cab driver number 770, came to my residence and after presented him my rides card he slide my card through his system and it beep letting the driver know that my information came up and what the amount on the card, he took my card and wrote my card number on a piece of note paper, I questioned him (Sir why are you writing my number down and for what, when the information was on your display screen? His reply was I have to and it's my records, I said no sir you dont, only when your system is not taking my card then you write it and not when it's working and not to write it. He stayed I do what I want and how to that effect, I said ok no problem and I will deal with) He caused me to be extremely late to my job employment when he took the way he want to take me and not the direction I was giving him, I was due at work for 7:30 am, and the time arrive was 15 to 20 mins after 8:00 am. After completing the trip and had been approved from Harris county rides he printed 3 receipts 2 merchant copies and the customers receipt, I asked him why are you printing three receipts, he tells me to side two copies for him, all together stable the card number he wrote, and two merchant receipts, I gab all of them and did not sign them due to the fact I was already on the phone with dispatch supervisor explaining everything and had it on speaker phone, so the supervisor could hear everything that's been said, 1 how he threatening me about calling the police on me, 2 how cussing me out using profanity, 3. Repeatedly making advances at me in a threating way. I was told by a dispatch supervisor they would handle it and would managerment would be in contact with me, no call I followed up and still nothing.
The second complaint was just two or three weeks before the accident on 08/15/2017.
I was still at my residence once I called for a cab to go to my parents address the same driver once again, cab number 770, came to my home address on Hillsboro Panama Estate Apartments, I open my apartment door acknowledging him before I know it he got out his cab yelling and screaming in both languages English and Spanish, profanity, racial remarks of the (N) word where I am a black male. And a witness who seen and heard everything, I got on the phone called dispatch immediately for a manager or supervisor that was on duty I giving supervisor or manager a statement and they ask what cab and the license plate number, and told me they will not put up with this type of behavior, that they will note my card for cab driver never ever to accept or pick, and ask if I wanted a management to call me in regards of this complaints I said yes I would and provided the supervisor with information and my number, once again no call back and no response from upper management. Now this brings it to 08/15/2017 Afternoon I called for a yellow cab pick up from the North channel food pantry, I waited almost an hour outside in the heat after ordering a yellow cab to go to my new residence at 5915 Uvalde Rd Apt 314 Houston TX. 77049, I had to call twice because the first cab driver did not show up when yellow cab rep. told me there is one in the area, and will be there in 15 to 20 mins, no call no show, called a second time and cab number 770 shows up, and by this I was ready to go home especially in the hot sun and the heat. I said nothing to the cab driver I gave him the card he slid it through the machine, it was a different story once I got home pulling up to my apartment, I was on the phone with a friend who was waiting for me and to help me with everything that I put into the back of the cab the trunk, I told my find I'm running up stairs to open the door and put my belongs (computer bag and keys down and be right back) when I first started with using the Harris County Rides program I was told point blank if I needed help or wanted help i was to ask the driver, but if I don't need it and don't want his or her help then the driver was not by no means to even touch or get out the vehicle unless the customer or passenger request their help. I did not request help from the driver, nor did I wanted it because I had a friend helping me. I came out my apartment door the driver had a case of my water in his hands and one case was on the ground outside of the cab, I ask him what r u doing put it down and I did not ask you for your put my stuff down now he dropped both cases and when I got down stairs when the first case he had already dropped where the wrap that holds the water broke along with the other case, I started yelling and cussing at him for what he did with water that I got from the party after that I was done saying anything to him, now as I was grabbing the box out the cab, now it got physical where this man put his hands on me by pushing, I went off cussing, yelling, and pushed him back and telling him three times don't put your hands on me again and if you do you will see what happen, he threatened to call Harris county I said good because I'm filling assult charges on you call I want you to. Now this is where and how I received my injuries from the driver,
I was behind the cab when the driver got back in the cab, as I went to pull the box out he the driver put the cab in drive and started pulling off, I went on the other side the same side I got out of the passenger side where the door slides open and close, it was closed I hit on the passenger side door yelling give me my stuff 3 different times, on that third time struck me on my left side of my body with the vehicle, causing me to fall and rolled on my left arm and wrist and my shoulder and hip, and breaking my eye glasses, I got up told my friend to get my glasses I was holding my left arm and running to rental office for help, and that's when the management of my apartment complex to come and called 911 for help, there was witness that heard or seen what happened, my food still in the trunk of the cab with trunk still open, I was transported to The East Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for a motor vehicle accident (truma) this when I found out from the ER Dr that on my left arm that my wrist was fractured and I was to call the specialist to make an appointment as soon as possible due to the fracture of my left wrist, that I probably would have to have surgery, I called the same day after being discharged and made the appointment, I gave a statement to the Harris county deputy, this when I found out the driver said I hit him, 3 different times he lied on me there was no injuries to him nor did I hit him. The only thing I did was defended my self when he pushed me first. Now while be transported he came back on the property of the apartment and just tried to just put my box with meat and ect. On the out side of the apartment gate where witness seen him pulling the same box out he had putting it at the curves in the parking lot for future residence on the concrete ground food that I just got from the food pantry, and was caught doing it by a tenant on camera and where I have them in my possession along with pictures of my arm wrapped from my shoulder to my fingers on left arm and the brace I have to wear on my left wrist from a fracture caused by the yellow cab driver, I can not even use my wrist at all, and still not out of the woods as of yet, because was told by the specialist that if the fracture move or shift in any type of way that I will have to have surgery.
supervisor & driver lied and, were very rude disrespectful!!!
ON JULY 7th, 2017 @ 7:27 am I received an phone call from the City Yellow Cab Driver Informing me he was sitting outside In my driveway to transport me to my 1st Drs. apt. My original pick-up time was set for 7:15 am when I Initially scheduled the day before with the Net dispatch operator @ 2:20pm.
I was ready @ 7:15 am, yet the driver for the ca company contacted me on my cell phone @ 7:27 am, I stated I will be out. I had to Unexspectally had to use the bathroom as I was speaking to the driver during that time. I hobbled out n off the back porch and the driver was gone @ 7:31 am (4 mins with In the 5 min wait period), next I get a call from the cab company @7:34 am stating "where was I"? I stated "I'm standing outside In the driveway now" "and the driver Is gone" The Dispatch operator sent the same driver who first called me and was In my driver way back to my pick up residence and I stated to the driver of the time he contacted me and they stated they called me @ 7:25 am, I stated "no" "a cell phone call time does not lie" the driver got testis and rude with me and stated he was not going to transport me to my apt. I called the cab company back @ 7:38 am and stated to the dispatch operator, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they stated "he Is the supervisor" I Informed him what the drier stated to me while I was sitting Inside the cab and I also mentioned" I was ready for my 7:15 am pick up", "but I had to urgently had to pee", "plus I have to use a cane and I also have to hobble down 2 flights of stairs" the dispatch supervisor said to me that I should've did all of that way earlier!" I stated "If I had of peed In the drivers cab I would've been banned"" and If nature calls anytime I cant hold It!" I did nay make my 2 apts. that day... This Is not the first time I have had Issues with the cab company as well, yet they seem to do and get away with a lot of dirt they pull If they are very, very late or If there computer system shuts down the nite before and your trip for the next day Is not on there roster until you once again "tell them what time you called the day before and who you spoke too of who set up your trip for your apt.!" This same driver picked me up on the 16th of @ 9:33 am and almost made me late then going to the same apt as well, but I told him "I understood n Its cool", but the dispatch operator If he Is a supervisor, I want an official apology and I want to be RE-INSTATED FOR THE NET PROGRAM THRU SCDJS IN AKRON, OHIO!
taxi
I confirmed their flat rate as posted on their website from Norwalk to LAX. Once in the cab, I was told there was too much traffic and would be charged by meter!
Then, after telling them twice on the phone that I would pay by credit card, they said I couldn't!
This is a BANDIT CAB. Not authorized by the city.
Wish I had seen the other bad review before.
Too bad they work this way. Could have been a regular customer.
Never use them again!
dangerous yellow cab driver
(SF) Yellow cab driver in a Black Honda Odyessy van/crossover/suv Cuts me off and slams to a halt in front of me at the light. Bay Street, or Lombard driving west. but if I recall correctly...heading out of The Mission heading north then west toward GG bridge. Two lanes in our westerly direction Two other cars going in my direction on the road. Both in the "fast" lane, me in the lane closest to right curb. Driver of the Yellow Cab "van" sees the car in front of him signaling to make a left turn. So he decides to pull this dumb stunt of zipping around fast so he doesn't hit the car turning left, and is in the "slow" lane so he doesn't get "stuck"behind car turning left. Only thing is, we're the only three cars on the road going west for blocks and blocks, Cuts me off in the slow lane, then slams to a stop for the red light. I was nearly at the light so what he did was make me hit the brake HARD to avoid hitting his 'black van cab'Had to brake hard to miss rear ending his black van.
Ultimately there no opposing traffic so the car that had been in front of him,
turned immediately on the green light. The Yellow Cab "green rookie race driver" ended up almost causing a wreck so he could beat me to the light. Had no idea either of the two other cars casually driving along with me, would pull some unwarranted stupid unnecessary driving "childish stunt" to "get one car ahead." Which never happened for him anyway. Left him to trail me many cars back...On the GG bridge headed North, he tailgated others in the fast lane trying to catch up with me all the way across the bridge. He got behind me finally in the slow lane just before Vista Point (right) turn off. I proceeded to GGNRA/Vista Point to use the facilities and be on my way North. Him-> Black driver, dark cap Black Odyessy, "Yellow Cab" sign on roof. He did not follow me into Vista Point, but continued North on 101 toward Robin Williams/Waldo tunnel.
Something radically different about his driving, downright aggressive and seemingly abusive for no good reason. I drive a lot, but his driving was exceptionally poor and dangerous. Had I not been a seasoned driver hitting him may have been inevitable. He smiled at me when I drove by him as he really got nothing out of driving like total fool disconnected from reality, or trying to get someone to hit him from behind. Trying to get a paid vacation and big settlement would be the only reason I could see someone doing all that for. Seemingly criminal activity. Connivers. Unlawful actions.
Dear Service Center Manager,
I am sorry that I have to complain about the service your company provided to me on 07/25/19!
I was riding a taxi with a license plate of 23372U1. The driver was asked to send us to S Van Ness from SFO. In the process of delivery, the driver constantly switched lanes, which made us feel very unsafe. We had to remind him that we were not in a hurry! But he still went all the way.
What's even worse is that he took the 280 instead of 101, This not only delayed the time we got home, but also made us pay dollars more. We paid 52 dollars. Usually from the airport to 140 S VanNess only costs about $35. If he did it on purpose, what is the difference between this and stealing or robbery?
When we asked him why he was detouring, he actually answered 101 had a big car accidents. But the fact is, 07/25/2019 noon from 12:08 to 12:49, there is no car accident on 101! This dishonesty is disgusting.
We are complaining about this matter with the trust of your company. We hope that your company can take corresponding measures and compensate us for the loss in this service. Otherwise, we will go to the Consumer Association for further complaints!
Thank
PS, we tried yellow cab SF website to post this, it doesn't work!
I checked our help desk at https://yellowcabsf.com/sfycc-help-desk-service-issues and it is now working. Make sure you scroll down on the form to complete it. Thank you.
The cost would be between $42 to $52. It would never be $35. If you'll send us your contact information via our help desk we'll be happy to review your ride next week and reply to you.
Hi Jake.
This Bob from Yellow Cab of San Francisco. Not our Taxi. We don't operate any Black Taxis or Honda Odyssey vehicles. There are about 20 companies in the SF Bay Area that use Yellow Cab in some way in their name and there are gypsy cabs as well. Best always to get license plate number although if they're operating illegally that may not even help.
driving
As i was backing out of a parking space in a compact parking lot i was more then half way out of the spot and a yellow cab (number 47) flies past me causing me to slam on my breaks. The set up of the situation there is no way he did not see me! This is just an inconsiderate maneuver of this (supposing) professional driver. No consideration for the well being of myself my children (inside my vehicle) or himself or his passengers. Not acceptable!
unethical behavior
9/12/16-2:02pm
I work in a medical office at 3300 E. South St., Long Beach CA 90805 and upon arriving to the passenger loading zone at this address a cab driver from the company "Yellow Cab" was speaking to a senior citizen passenger in a very rude manner when the passenger inquired if the taxi driver would be helping to push his wife who was in a wheelchair to the office suite entrance five yards away. Although I was not in the cab with the passengers as a bystander appalled at his behavior I told the cab driver the way he responded was being very rude and yelling was unnecessary at which point he told me to mind my own (explicit*) business and continued to curse to me and the passenger. He told me it's not his job and to call whoever I wanted file a complaint because he didn't give a (explicit*). I am so irate that this driver was yelling at the passenger when the passenger only wanted clarification if the driver would help him push his wheelchair bound wife as he himself was fragile. The driver could have simply stated no but instead went on to yell at the passenger and at me. He then told me that the passenger was my (explicit*) problem and to take him since I was so concerned. I accompanied the passenger and wife to the medical suite and alerted the medical assistant of the incident but they told me that they had no contract with this company. Thus why I am taking this route to file my complaint. The driver did not give me his name but the incident occurred at the above stated date and time and I have included an image of the cab driver and cab number for records. I would appreciate if this matter would be addressed with the company to train drivers in better customer service or suspend this driver if needed. No person should be disrespected in that way especially elderly who so often don't have the ability for independence.
over charging and not turning on the meter
The Hotel I am staying at phoned this cab company to take me and my partner to Warner Bros Studio which is approximately 10 minutes away.
Being tourists and never used a cab in LA we were green and he knew it.
He didn't turn his meter on at all and had an earpiece in the whole time and carried on a conversation with a woman in his own language for the entire trip. When we arrived he charged us $25!
I wasn't quick enough to get his number.
When we returned to our Hotel we phoned the cab company and of course they have "no record" of the trip and fare because he DIDN'T TURN HIS METER ON! They said they would look into it. Ha! I am going to ring them back again and tell them we are putting in an official complaint against the cab company and will tell EVERYONE NEVER TO USE YELLOW CABS.
Be warned they will rip you off!
nyc yellow cap demanding minimum of 16%+ tip.
Living in NYC I have been more than generous on my tip with many services. On 6.19.16 around 10:40pm in Manhattan, NY a taxi (4M19) picked us up from one location and drove very aggressively through the whole ride as if his life was depended on it. I felt very uneasy and had to grab everything to just so I don't fall over. He had to be driving over 45+ mph. Full gas on green and abrupt stop to avoid hitting things on the street. Trust me I had enough rides in the NYC where drivers speed and still doesn't cause uneasiness to the passenger. When I was getting off my bill came out to around $14+. I gave him $1 extra even though I didn't think he deserved it. Soon as I put the amount through he turned around in out rage and said "Are you kidding me? Required minimum tip is 16%+!” He must be making his own rules but no tip is required by anyone. I must say not all yellow cabs are bad. But ones likes this gives them a bad reputation. Especially when service was not safe.
The way you were describing it, I thought maybe the cabbie was doing 100 or so. But 45 mph is walking speed down here. If 45 made you have to hold to something in fear, perhaps walking would be best from now on.
cab fare from westin galeria to dfw
On 10/16/15 I was returning home fro ma business trip and required a cab from the hotel to DFW Airport. I was on a call for almost the entire trip so I was not paying attention to the route that the driver took. When we reached the airport I noticed that the fair was $76.98 including a $12.83 tip. I though that this was excessive but the driver assured me that it wasn't. Upon further review I noticed that the fair upon my 10/14/15 arrival, from DFW to the same hotel was $54.81 including a $10.96 tip. The trip to the hotel covered 17.40 miles versus 29.50 miles on the trip to the airport. Supposedly the same route but the return trip was 80% farther? And cab drivers wonder why people switch to Uber? Never again!
unethical behavior
To whom it may concern,
I apologize for the late email, but this is something I must inform. I have never been treated this unduly when regarding a taxi ride home, this occurred on the night of 2/19/2015. This man not only refused our ride until we told him we would pay cash, but he also charged us extra so that he could deviate/default where he was going, which was a very popular area along the TCU area. I have never been subjected to such behavior and was very embarrassed for all people I was with. He quoted me in which he used an application to accept my money, "20 dollars cash per head". And also charged an extra $10 due to the inconvenience of a cab having to go to TCU(7th st to TCU-4 miles)And went on to threaten to leave my group STRANDED, I would have gladly rejected this offer it had not been so late and there were no cabs in sight. I have never been treated in such a way and only wish to inform you of such a horrible employee and look for nothing going forward. I will continue to use yellow cab, and only wish you to be more conscience of people like this.

stranding a minor child for an hour
I called at 4pm, requesting a cab to pick up my 14 year old daughter from her middle school at 4:35 pm. At 4:48 my daughter calls (using a friend's phone) asking where the cab is. I called Yellow cab to find out; dispatcher told me she didn't know why my daughter hadn't been picked up but she would have a cab there immediately. After 30 min. With no child, I called back. Cab was just a minute away. My child wasn't picked up until 5:30! They left a child standing in front of her school for 55 minutes! I asked to speak to a supervisor. There wasn't one available. Apparently supervisors don't work after 5 and on week ends. I will be complaining to the regulatory agency as I consider this to be criminal. Don't trust yellow cab with your child!
wired cab driver
I called a yellow cab this morning while I was still in my room, then a few seconds later the cab phone service told me that my cab would be there in one minute. So I went out of my building and looked for the cab. Then I saw the cab was parked on my left side beside the street, but it was a little bit far so I ran to the cab. While I was running toward the cab, the driver drove forward bypass another car in front of it and parked there. I thought that he might think it would be better to park there. Therefore, I ran again towards that cab, and wired thing happened, the cab drove forward again while I almost caught up with it! Then again I thought that he might want to park to a much better place, so I ran again, and this time he turned left into the lane and stopped there for a while and I stopped running. I thought he was gone so I called another cab to come, but within one minute that cab turned back to my place.
I think that this driver did this on purpose because he didn't see me when he just arrived at my place. Thus, every time I ran towards his car, he drove a little bit forward and I would never catch up with him. I don't think that he didn't see me running towards his car! This driver is f**king noisy and very rude!
Wtf, my boyfriend has extreme phone anxiety and was scared to Call. I tried to Call and the guy laughed at me and told me I couldn't Call for him like wtf? I will never use yellow cab again. That guy was so rude!
Yellow cab #82 would not unlock the door at Rossyln station to give me and my finance a ride. He did care rude cab driver. I thought cabs where suppose to service the public. Many all people.
I was rear ended by a Yellow Cab taxi. Now a week later, their insurance company denies liability because they claim I reversed in the middle of the street and backed into them, just to avoid paying me $700 to fix my car. The driver even apologized profusely while we exchanged insurance information.
taxi driver's fraud
Last New Year's Night (1/1/15), I called the dispatch number as I've done many times in the past to request a taxi. It arrived within 10 minutes and I racked up $37 in travel distance and waiting time charges during several brief stops at various nearby destinations. I promptly paid that full amount via credit card and got a phone call shortly after that necessitated two more stops that in turn logged an addition $14.75 on the meter by the time I arrived back home. However, my credit card issuer declined two attempted charges for that small amount, which I knew had to be an error. After calling the bank and learning to my horror that only $7 was available on my credit card, I offered to pay that amount equal to nearly half the second $14.75 fare and provide the driver with my ID until I could access cash to pay the rest on the next day when local banks reopened. He rudely replied that he couldn't process a partial fare payment via credit card and threatened to call police and press charges if I didn't pay in full on the spot. I knew there had to be some mistake on part of the card issuing bank, so I asked for a few minutes to try and straighten out the mess with its Cust. Svc. Dept. However, the Yellow Cab driver began increasingly belligerent and demanded one of several brand new power tool that were in my possession at the time. After practically snatching one of the bags that held a $250 cordless drill set still inside its box, he shoved his card into my hand and sped away.
Less than two hours later after I'd resolved the error with my card issuing bank, I texted him to request that he return my item in exchange for full payment plus a nice bonus for the inconvenience and time of having to make a 2nd trip to my home.
Well, to make a long story short, he stalled and told one lie after another for the next several days to avoid returning my expensive property. After finally dropping it off at the taxi dispatch office 14.2 miles away for 2 or 3 days, during which time I was unable to arrange a cost-efficient ride. You see, I don't own a car due to very poor eyesight, which is why I rely on cabs a lot, which led to this problem in the first place! Besides that, the taxi dispatch office closes very early at 3pm, which further complicates matters because most family and friends with cars don't get off work until long after that time anyway. After 2 or 3 days, I finally arranged a ride to the dispatch office and called first to ensure that someone would be there. The manager who answered the phone advised that the cabbie had retrieved my item shortly before while stating that "one week was long enough." It didn't stay in the office for a full week and I can easily prove that. Moreover, the sole reason the fare wasn't paid timely when the driver dropped me off at home was due to a documented bank error.
Now, nobody at the local taxi dispatch office or corporate headquarters in the next state over will intervene further or even answer my calls. Their collective attitude seems to be that the driver's an independent contractor and they have no responsibility to facilitate a fair resolution. DEAD WRONG! What they fail to comprehend (despite being advised by me several times) is that: 1) I happen to be a lawyer who's trained in legal matters; and, 2) Taxicab companies indeed have "vicarious liability" for independent contractor-lessee's misconduct under at least 4 different legal theories. (For more details, see: http://www.legalmatch.com/law-library/article/liability-of-taxicab-company-for-drivers-negligence.html).
So far, I've filed a formal complaint with the local County Motor Vehicle for Hire Commission and will not stop until I get justice. This is mainly because I've since heard that Yellow Cab Co. is notorious for abusive business practices, reportedly due to smug arrogance as a 'global corporation.' ***AVOID CALLING YELLOW CAB AT ALL COSTS ***! The time, money and energy you save will definitely be mostly your own!
african drivers exposed to ebola virus
Many cab drivers who work for Yellow Cab in Salt Lake City Utah are from African and have been exposed to the Ebola virus. Recently a passenger has been infected and this has been confirmed by a doctor in California. Please be careful if you use this company. Many of the drivers are Black Africans who cannot speak English well, so it is very difficult to understand them. Many of them travel in and out of the country to Africa and have been exposed to the Ebola Virus. Please try to use an alternative cab company when visiting Salt Lake City Utah.
rude/lying cab driver
11/16/14. 7pm. I took a yellow cab--#479--from Newark Penn Station to Orange, NJ. First, he lied, saying the fare is $25. I told him I'd never paid more than $20. He said OK. He spoke on his phone for most of the ride, loudly in his native language, as if he were alone in the car and not carrying a paying fare. He steered with one hand and held his phone with the other hand. When we reached my destination, he stopped the car across the street in a traffic lane instead of parking in front of my building. I told him about the danger of driving while holding his phone. He told me to get out of the car, as there was a car behind us honking. I got the #479 off the door, but not the taxi company name. I'll research that and make a complaint/report him. He then sped off, with the door hardly closed.

never showed up
So I really wanted to go out last night so I took a cab because since it wasn't far I knew it wouldn't be much. It wasn't so bad going there. Anyway about five minutes before Chase Tyler finished maybe ten which was about 12:55 I call a taxi. Ok me and Brandon kept waiting and waiting and Extra Innings was closing. I kept calling them and was getting the run around. It was cold outside and I was in tears a couple of times. The bartender even called them. Then they all left Extra Innings. Finally the bartender drive back in front of us and said she couldn't leave us there. She told me she call a sheriff to come pick us up and bring us home. It was 4:00 when we got home. I was nervous riding with a cop though. He asked for my I'd and phone number when we got home. Oh whenever I tried to call sometime they must have took the phone off the hook because it was busy a lot of the time. They even told me one time they were busy and should have thought about this before I went out. They kept telling me that I haven't been excepted yet. What is a person suppose to do sit there all night. That is bull. The kept putting me on hold listening to music and then get disconnected.
Cab #43 was smoking crack in his cab when I entered the cab it smelled of cocain and there was a crack pipe in the passenger seat
minor
If you want "Yellow Cab" to be sued, continue to use cab driver Mr. Khoran Ministrall (not sure if I spelled name right). A few days ago, I crossed my legs in the front seat and Mr. cab driver slapped my leg. Two other times he threatened to beat me, a third time a few weeks ago he pushed me. This abuse is constantly going on in the cab and my parents are fed up with the cab administrators failure to keep us safe. As you know, Khoran drives me and a group of kids to school and home; and he has almost been in a few accidents because he dozes off when he drives but he also constantly curses and threatens us. I remember the fact that he called me a son of a b***h and refused to turn on the air conditioning for 15 X I asked him.
