YesStyle Review: Unique Designs, Slow Shipping, and Tricky Returns
I gotta say, I'm pretty into YesStyle. The website design is pretty slick and they've got some seriously unique designs that I haven't seen anywhere else. But, let's get down to the nitty gritty.
I'm a bit hesitant to buy from YesStyle because their return policy isn't the easiest and I'm not really into store credit. Plus, a lot of their products take a solid two weeks to ship out and then another week or more to actually get to your door. So, if you're not the patient type, this site might not be for you. But, if you're the type who likes to be surprised when your package finally arrives, then this could be right up your alley.
One thing I do appreciate about YesStyle is that they've started showing customer satisfaction ratings next to each seller's account when you're looking at a product. They also show similar items in an easy-to-access tab, which helps guide my choices, especially when it comes to price. Sometimes, different sellers will have the exact same product at a cheaper price.
The only downside is that the pictures of the models are usually from pretty far away, so it's hard to get a good sense of what the outfit looks like up close. And, since returns can be a bit of a hassle, I tend to go for the seller that has the most info in their product description. I need sizing measurements and a decent number of pictures with close-ups to show the quality of the material used. I want to see the hem lines up close and know exactly where they take in the fabric so I know I'm getting the design I want and that it will be easy to alter if needed.
I've also noticed that it can be hard to find items in my size (I'm 5'4", 90 lbs, with measurements of 30", 23", 33"), so I really have to do my research before making a purchase.
Sometimes, I'll even price match items I find on YesStyle on Amazon. I've seen cheaper prices on Amazon and sometimes it's even prime. If that happens, I'll go with Amazon because it's faster and the customer service experience is usually better. But, there are some styles that I can only find on YesStyle and I love them enough that they're worth the wait and possible disappointment of poor quality.
For example, the drop earrings I've ordered have been absolutely gorgeous and after several months, there's no sign of discoloration or rust. And, they only cost between $3 and $10 per pair! However, I did order a $6 hat that turned out to be pretty thin and made of garbage material. But, it looks great and unless someone else is wearing it, it's not easy to tell that the material is poor quality. So, if you're going for appearances only, it's not a bad buy.
Overall, I've had a pretty positive experience with YesStyle. Their high waist mini skirts and thigh high socks have all been great quality, and I'm excited to see how my next order of clothes turns out. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update!
YesStyle Review: Great for Japanese and Korean Brands, but Watch Out for Prices and Shipping
YesStyle is a website that I have been using for a while now and I have to say that I am quite impressed with it. The website design is well made and it's easy to look for the products or clothing styles you need. You can look things up by photos too, which is a great feature. When you place an order, YesStyle might have the product in stock, if not they will place an order to their warehouse from that brand and once all the items you've ordered have arrived, they will package it together and send it to your address.
The prices YesStyle lists on their site reflect the original price listed on the original brands' site plus the cost of ordering the products to their warehouse. YesStyle wants to make a profit off this as well, so most of the prices will be a bit higher than what is listed on the original brands' site. YesStyle always has sales year-round, so it doesn't really matter if the sales end because it never does. The site just makes it seem like the sale will end to pressure you into buying it. The flash sales have a time limit on when the sale ends. The prices are comparable to other sites like TesterKorea. Sometimes I find it cheaper on YesStyle and other times I find YesStyle to be double the price of what the other sites are. The good thing is that YesStyle is able to get a huge variety of brands and products from South Korea and Japan compared to other sites. Always double-check the prices with other trusted sites. Don't be fooled if the site says something is on sale for 80% off flash sale, because chances are they just marked up the price and put a stamp on it saying it's 80% off now but in actuality it's probably 10%-30% off max.
A lot of the Chinese "branded" stuff you can find it cheaper on eBay or Aliexpress to be honest. It's the Japanese and Korean brands that are probably more worth buying since YesStyle offers free shipping. The free shipping used to be at a minimum of $40CAD, but now it has gone up to a minimum purchase of $135CAD for free shipping. I guess you could combine shipping with your friends and family to get that free shipping. When you checkout, there are a lot of coupons and rewards you can add to have more discounts. If you search on Reddit, there's a thread where people post their reward code that you could add to get an extra 2% off. You can usually find coupon codes on Google too. YesStyle also offers a membership reward system, where the more you spend, the more points and rewards you get in return. This is a good strategy to get returning customers and to have customers spend more. If you join the YesStyle influencers program, you get even more discounts.
YesStyle doesn't offer refunds. They will "refund" you in the form of store credit even when it's due to a mistake on their end like sending in the wrong item or not having stock in the item you bought. I don't mind a store credit if it's something I wanted to exchange or return after I received the item, but if they didn't send me an item yet, then I want the refund back to my credit card or PayPal. You would think that the company will package items more properly the more you buy as well. I've had my items shipped to me in less than favorable conditions. They have shipped the items to me in just a destroyed shoe box and in banged up box that is flimsily stuck together by tape. Least if the item you order breaks during shipping, they will at least resend it to you. But if the item broke during transit and there is no more stock to send, then they will refund you in the form of a store credit. I think it should be refunded to my credit card or PayPal since the fault was on YesStyle for not packing it properly. I've had to open up cases on PayPal to get my money back from this company before, so the best thing I can suggest is to pay using PayPal in case you need to open up a case to get your money back.
The response time from their customer service is pretty quick and they translate all the foreign information into English with converted size measurements. Well, until the company fixes any of those problems, I will not change my review for this company. Overall, YesStyle is a great website to shop for Japanese and Korean brands, but be careful with the prices and shipping.

Chatbots have not been able to help. Please advise on the situation. I would appreciate some sort of response as I have emailed 3 times about this issue.

My order is missing and I email them that my order hasnot been delivered yet and its alrdy been a month. They replied we will reship the orders. And that hasnot been done at all. I never received my order and after 3 months of complaining they said they couldn't refund me for the lost package. So I basically lost money ordering from their page.
Package Never Arrived
Usually I have no issues when ordering from YesStyle, but this time my order never arrived. It was supposed to arrive by November 14th as so I'm told on the website, but it's now December 2nd and the package still hasn't arrived (ordered October 15th). I'm upset that customer service has been so unhelpful and I've gotten no help in the two weeks I've tried contacting them. I want a refund or a resend of my order because I contacted the shipping company and the customer service representative said my package was lost and closed my file saying I needed to contact YesStyle about this issue. However, YesStyle has been very uncooperative in communicating with me. I feel like I've been scammed. I want my money back or a discount for all this hassle.

They give only 14 days for a return, so I paid 13$ for a label which they said I had to pay for and then they never refunded me so I emailed them. They said I did not return it within 14 days, I am a clinical student so I am very busy but it had to have been close. So I got no refund at all, gave the company about 60$ for free! I will NEVER shop here again. The items I returned were two clothing items, don't let the pictures and reviews fool you the clothes are TRASH.

After filing for a return Yesstyle promised me a full refund on Paypal, only for 2 days later refund me in store credit. A month after I had made my order, the package had still not arrived, so I checked the tracking number to see where it was. It said that an attempt was made to deliver it to my house. I had not received any call, message, email and there wasn't anything in my mailbox to suggest the courrier had been there. I contacted Yesstyle and the courrier, and after a few days they told me the order had been shipped back to Hong Kong without my knowledge or consent. After a few emails, Yesstyle promised me a refund to my PayPal, as long as I paid the delivery fee (ridiculous, but I accepted). Two days later, they send me an email stating that they had refunded me through Store Credit instead of PayPal. I am furious, I want my money back and I will never order from this store again.
I never received my package and customer service sucks
It's been almost a month and I still haven't gotten my package. When I was notified it was held up in customs I was told that yesstyle should have given me a clearance number and when I asked them they told me I cannot get a refund and lose my money. DO NOT SHOP HERE YOU WILL LOSE MONEY ON CLOTHES THAT WILL NEVER END UP ARRIVING ANYWAYS. I'm so irritated at how unhelpful customer service was.

I ordered three times the same product and only one came.
When I asked them, they took about 1 or 2 days to respond me which is acceptable. At first, I was like " When are you planning to correct your mistake?" they were like blablabla " did you check that the parcel..." after one week, they finally told me : " when it's in stock we'll ship it to you but then you have to wait about 7-30 days for the REGULAR shipping" ...
I saw that it would be in stock only after a long time and with the shipping I'll have to wait forever.
Knowing that the products were ordered to give during christmas time.
Then I started to tell them them I wanted a full refund + compensation and gave them a second deadline ( Yes, I didn't precise but that was the second)
Two days later, they finally shipped my missing order but my shipment will barely arrive on time.
Conclusion: what does it say in the law (HongKong policy) ? If they didn't ship me my two missing products, will I be able to ask for a full refund + COMPENSATION (example: I had to buy the 2 same products at a higher price) ?

I have ordered my items from yesstyle and still haven't received my package.
I have ordered on 8th September 2019 and my order was shipped on 23rd September 2019. I have used Standard delivery service which takes one month for the package to reach it's destination but it's already have been more than one month and I want my package as soon as possible. shipping process unclear
I ordered over $100 worth of clothing and used Express shipping as I wanted cute clothes before vacation. I left more than enough time for the shipping to even come late before I left for vacation. It took a week longer than it said it was going to take, and I waited everyday to accept the shipment at door front so it wouldn't get lost. The package never left the shipping facility in a nearby city. I received an email saying the address needed more information, and I quickly corrected it. Even after, It was stuck there for a while so I let my family member go and check. They needed my personal Identification even though my family member had the same last name and address as me. I was unable to receive the package still. I come back from vacation and go to the facility and they tell me the package is returned to the shipper! So now my clothes are back in Hong Kong. I email yesstyle and they reply quickly saying the courier has abandoned the order and no returns can be made, and they have no further arrangements on the issue. So I am left with no clothes and I can't get my money back.
Even if it was an issue on address or identification, if the customer never received the clothes, there should at least be store credit or a card reimbursement (at least a refund excluding shipping!)

This is regard to order [protected] made on 14/4/2019. Ive been waiting since a month now I have not been notified also my order is only showing processing. This is so wrong how can I be charged for the items without knowing about the arrival or availabilty of the items from suppliers. Only after I sent an email im getting this reply from yesstyle that the products are not been sent by supplier. The items are in stock I can see them in the app and sent screenshots to customer service mail too. When requested yesstyle they emailed me saying. The new item must be of the same or lesser value than the original item. The glow kit I purchased was on discounted sale at the time I purchased. Now it happens to be on full price, which is not my problem. The compensation for the discounted price should be adjusted by you or the supplier, why should the customer be at the loss? After the order and the payment are processed almost a month ago. This is not right on your part to trouble the customer this way after you have given discounts or simply dont give them as offers just to trouble customers later.
I therefore request you to not delay my order and make the necessary arrangements to deliver the order I have placed. I have beared enough patience on this matter. Both the glowkit and the multistick, must be processed from any supplier or from the in-stock available items, as I can see them on your website yesstyle.com with the original price.
Price is not my concern as it has been your mistake or the suppliers your company deals with, as you should not display the items out-of-stock upon its non-availability and accept payments from customers and confirming through emails they will be delivered, I still can see the products available in the app after confirming the order and card payment done immediately month ahead and when now asked your conveying me this. And now at the moment the customer is at trouble because of your carelessness. How can you compensate for the customers loss of my time and money?

They said they were going to reship my order then somehow got cancelled and when I asked about they said the reshipment was canceled due to the system error, they were going to processed the reshipment of my order and a shipment confirmation will be sent to me once the order has been dispatched, this was back in December 19th, now we're almost in February and still no email, no order, no nothing

I have purchased goods from YesStyle many times but had a very bad experience with my last order.
Recently, I placed an order with YesStyle with free shipping. Everything seemed fine until there was a problem with the delivery of my parcel and they asked me to pay double the shipping costs before even seeing my parcel!
My parcel was held by UK Customs with a Customs fee to pay. Royal Mail was supposed to deliver a Customs card, which apparently was required to make payment of the Customs fee and release the parcel. However, despite my multiple calls to Royal Mail, the Customs card was never sent to me and the parcel was sent back to YesStyle.
Now YesStyle is asking me to pay the double the shipping fee: reimbursement for the first shipping (even if shipping was free in the initial order) and another one for the re-shipping of goods. What a joke! Why do I have to pay for Royal Mail faults?!
I would have never placed the order with them if I had to pay the shipping costs.
And there's a cherry on the cake: if I cancel the order, they are not going to refund me... they said they will only credit the amount to my account (to be used against another order that I will never make!) less the shipping costs for the initial order (even if the order had free shipping). I feel I'm being scammed here...

So I ordered couple of items from YesStyle on 29th June, 2018 and received them yesterday, 28th July, 2018, except one of the products was not there.
I Did not receive 'Advance snail 96 mucin power essence, 100 ml', though I have already paid for all the products.
Can you please let me know why this product was not shipped?
And are you going refund me for this or you are going to ship it?
It takes one month to get the products (which I'm not complaining about!) and it's disappointing to say the least when you don't receive the product you have paid for.

I order about 200 dollar worth of things on this website so I can get the fastest shipping which is (3-5) days. I ordered it on Feb 6th and today is April 24 that is almost 3 months late. One of my item was canceled I contacted them 3 times through email because they never answer their call NEVER, they did not reply. It has been 6 months now and they are telling me they still waiting to recieve it and when they do they can proceed with my refund. When I first ordered something I wanted the fastest shipping so I bought all these stuff worth more than 200 dollars with my friend and family the main one I really needed fast was my half wig. It said it would come be shipped in 3-5 days but it was not processed for over a month exactly about 5 weeks Whig does not make sense at all even if it is out of stock I've ordered from Korea lots because I'm Korean and it never even take two weeks.
