YouGov UAE Review: Unreliable Payments and Lack of Communication
So, I gotta tell ya, my experience with YouGov in the UAE was a real bummer. They straight up didn't pay us our hard-earned money, and to make matters worse, they didn't even bother to respond to our emails. Can you believe that? Talk about a major waste of time.
Now, I ain't one to complain, but when a company promises to pay you for your opinions and then ghosts you, it's just plain rude. I mean, we put in the effort to participate in their surveys and share our thoughts, thinking we'd get a little somethin' somethin' in return. But nope, nada, zilch.
I don't know about you, but I value my time, and I sure as heck don't appreciate it when it's wasted. We reached out to them, hopin' for some answers or at least an explanation, but it was like talkin' to a brick wall. Not a peep from 'em.
Now, I ain't sayin' everyone's had the same experience with YouGov in the UAE. Maybe we just got unlucky, or maybe they're goin' through some tough times. But let me tell ya, it ain't a good look when a company doesn't hold up their end of the bargain.
So, if you're thinkin' about joinin' YouGov in the UAE, I'd say proceed with caution. Keep your expectations low and don't rely on 'em for any extra cash. 'Cause based on my experience, they ain't exactly reliable when it comes to payin' up.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend wastin' your time with YouGov in the UAE. There are plenty of other survey sites out there that actually deliver on their promises. Save yourself the frustration and find one of those instead. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Delayed but Worth the Wait: My Experience with Qualifying for Free Cash
It takes a few years to qualify for the free cash, but it's worth it, ya know? They say it takes about 4 weeks, but in my experience, I just got my third cash payout and it usually takes around ten days. So not too shabby, if you ask me.
YouGov Survey: Never-ending and Intrusive, Don't Expect Help from BBB
So, I was doing this survey on YouGov, right? And let me tell you, it was a real pain in the neck. The thing is, the survey didn't have an expiration date. Can you believe that? I mean, who wants to be stuck answering questions for eternity? Not me, that's for sure.
But that's not even the worst part. Oh no, it gets worse. They had the audacity to ask me how much money my household makes in a year. Like, seriously? That's none of their beeswax! I don't know about you, but I don't go around sharing my financial details with just anyone. It's personal, you know?
I gotta say, I was pretty ticked off when I saw that question. I mean, where's the privacy? Where's the respect? It's like they think they can just pry into my personal life without any consequences. Well, let me tell you, I wasn't having any of it.
I started thinking, maybe I should report this to the Better Business Bureau. They're supposed to protect consumers from this kind of nonsense, right? But then again, who knows if they'll actually do anything about it. Sometimes it feels like nobody's got your back when it comes to these things.
All in all, my experience with YouGov was less than stellar. The never-ending survey and the nosy questions really rubbed me the wrong way. I expected better from a company like this. So, if you're thinking about giving it a try, just be prepared for some intrusive inquiries. And don't count on the Better Business Bureau to save the day.
Terrible Experience with YouGov: Denied Payment, No Customer Support, Avoid at All Costs
This company, YouGov, is a real pain in the neck. They straight up denied my 50 quid for doing their surveys and have the audacity to not pay me on chat. Can you believe it? And to top it off, they don't even bother replying to emails or online forms. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. I've had enough of their nonsense and I strongly recommend finding another company to do business with. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.
Disappointing Experience with YouGov: Unfair Rating System and Failure to Provide Promised Reward
I gotta say, this YouGov website ain't all that great. I mean, seriously, why can't they have a option to give no stars or even minus stars? That's just plain unfair, if you ask me.
But that's not even the worst part. These guys, they're like a bunch of thieves. They straight up refused to give me my 50 dollars reward, all because they claim I'm introducing my name wrong when I'm trying to get my points. Can you believe that?
I tried to prove them wrong, man. I sent them my Emirates ID not once, not twice, but five times! And you know what? Nothing happened. They didn't even bother to respond or fix their mistake. It's like they don't even care about their users.
Honestly, I'm just so disappointed. I thought YouGov would be a legit way to make some extra cash, but it turns out they're just a bunch of scammers. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with them. Find another survey site that actually values its users and doesn't try to rip them off.
Disappointing Rewards and Lack of User Value: A Rollercoaster Ride on this Site
I've been using this site for a long time, and let me tell you, it's been quite a rollercoaster ride. You see, a while back, they took away one of the best reward options. Naturally, I was curious about what happened and whether they had any plans to introduce new options, like PayPal. So, I reached out to them and asked politely. But boy, oh boy, their response was far from friendly. They basically said, "Sorry, but our rewards don't meet your fancy." Talk about professionalism, right?
Anyway, fast forward to today, and guess what? I checked my balance, and wouldn't you know it, the only other decent reward option is now gone too! Can you believe it? It's like they don't want us to have any fun or enjoy the rewards we earn. It's a real bummer, let me tell you.
At this point, I've had enough. I'm not going to waste my precious time on a site that doesn't value its users. I mean, seriously, who even shops at or uses the remaining reward options? It's like they're stuck in the Stone Age or something. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone in its current state. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better platform to spend your time on. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Ongoing Login Issues and Frustrating Customer Support Experience
Yeah, so I've actually managed to cash out with this company before, which was pretty cool. Annoyingly though, it was for 15k and then out of nowhere, they bumped it up to 25k. Like, seriously? But hey, I went ahead and cashed out anyway.
Now, let me tell you about my ongoing issue with this company for the past year. It's all about logging in, man. I swear, I've been going back and forth, taking screenshots, doing everything I can to get this problem sorted out. It's a real pain in the you-know-what.
Most of their tech guys, you know, the ones they outsource to another country, are actually pretty polite. But here's the thing, this problem just never stays fixed. It's not like it's my email or anything I'm doing wrong. I have zero problems logging into any other survey site, so it's definitely on their end. They seriously need to get their act together and fix this issue, because they've lost me as a user, man.
Unfair Suspension and Data Misuse: A Disappointing Experience with a Survey Company
I've been doing them surveys with this company for years, you know, and I've been giving them my personal data in exchange for some promised incentive. But guess what? They just went and kicked me off their site without even giving me a heads up or any explanation. Can you believe that? I was so close to getting my hands on $50 worth of rewards, and then bam! They suspended my account. Talk about convenient for them, right?
I reckon I should have the right to appeal or at least get paid for all the data they collected from me. I mean, come on, I've never been banned before, so why should they just take away all that valuable information I provided? It's like they snatched a big ol' piece of my data pie and left me with nothing in the end. I feel like I've been swindled, you know? It ain't right.
Honestly, this whole situation should be considered illegal. I only agreed to share my data with this company because they promised me some sort of incentive in return. And now they've gone and broken that promise. It's just not fair, mate.
If I had the option, I'd give 'em zero stars. That's how disappointed I am with their shady actions.

Focus group gift card not received
I participated in a Focus Group in December. This is the email I was sent: “Thank you for recently completing a recruitment survey for a focus group hosted by YouGov. We're delighted to inform you that you qualify for this focus group, for which you will receive a $100 Visa gift card. We’re looking forward to hearing your opinions tonight, Monday, December...

I have been a YouGov member for many years and provided true and accurate information about myself and provided genuinely held opinions in response to survey requests. In return for this, I receive Rewards from YouGov by way of points, which are redeemable for a cash sum of £50 payable by bank transfer once 5000 points are accrued. I achieved 5000 point...

I've been a member of YouGov for years and never had a problem until recently. I finally got to the 55, 000 points needed to redeem for a $50 Amazon gift card but I didn't redeem right away. The next thing I know I suddenly don't receive a requested login code and can't access my account. I tried daily and requested a response from support, no response...

scammed
I have been doing surveys for yougov for several years. I finally saved up enough points (100, 000) for a $100 check. I redeemed the points in mid September. I got an email m them in mid Oct. requesting that I verify my address, which I did right away. I've not heard a word since. I have posted twice on their facebook page & e-mailed the 4 times. They are...
Read full review of YouGov and 1 commentUnpaid Surveys
I started completed online surveys with YouGov UK I think around 2007. After completing an awful lot of surveys I had an account balance of £26 in Sept 2009. Since that date I have not had one single paid survey to complete, only unpaid surveys. I have contacted them loads of times to see if they will pay me the £26 I am owed, but they refuse to pay out before a balance of £50 is accumulated, but it is impossible to get to this figure as I no longer get any paid surveys to complete. They very rarely answer my emails, and when they do they just fob me off with excuses. It seems I am not alone in this judging by the other complaints on this site.

do not pay out or answer emails
I have been answering online surveys with yougov for approximately 5 years. It has taken this long to get close to the £50.00 you need to cash out. Suddenly I am unable to log in to my account. Over the last few months I have sent around 50 emails asking for help - I received a couple of answers directing me to the faq board which does not help. Apart from...
Read full review of YouGovThey refuse to respond
At the end of the Yougov/CNN panel survey I did on August 16, 2007, the screen said that I would be credited with a $10.00 Amazon.com voucher; this is what the original email announcing the survey also said. I did not receive the voucher. Repeated emails to Yougov were totally ignored. Eventually, on October 1, 2007, by dint of persistent emails, I did get the voucher which I was promised three months before.
On July 12, 2008, I received an email announcing another survey. When I logged in, my CNN Panel account said "You have not completed any surveys." As a matter of fact, I have done several surveys and accumulated hundreds of points. As usual, all of my emails to various Yougov addresses have been ignored. From what I have seen on various Internet forums, neither the this fraud by Yougov nor their refusal to respond to emails are isolated cases. Their fraud is habitual.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I completed surveys to the value of 50 pounds but did not receive the cheque as promised. I have sent dozens of emails and phoned a number of times to no avail. I will however persist.
Scammed here too. I redeemed my points for a Michaels gift card $25 but they sent me a card for $25 free movies. Thing is, the gift card they sent was for Regal theaters of which there are NONE anywhere even close to me much less this state! So, it's totally & completely WORTHLESS!
I redeemed my points for a regal gift card forth 25 dollars that was 6 months ago I have yet to receive it the said they reissued a card last wee still have not gotten it going to report them to better business
I spent a great deal of time doing surveys and got up to £26 and then the paid surveys stopped coming. I was sent loads of surveys to complete, but they were all unpaid surveys. I have contacted them loads of times since I completed my last survey in sept 2009, but they are not interested and it is now June 2011. As you will know they do not pay out until you reach £50, but how will I ever reach it with unpaid surveys? They are obviously complete scamsters and I intend to find out if there is a regulating body for them.
YouGov COMPLETELY dishonest and unprofessional!
I have been taking surveys from yougov for quite some time. I am owed $100 after being a panel member for YEARS, since when I was in college. I have taken a great deal of time and effort to get some kind of satisfaction from yougov, but to no avail. My account states:
Cheque No. Date Paid Amount Paid
2021 1/26/2009 $50.00
94 9/30/2008 $50.00
Yet I have not been compensated.
I finally got an e-mail from an Emily Young stating my check was coming to me in five weeks because they were experiencing a delay. This was sent to me 02/16/09. It is now May of 2009.
Under the 'My Details' tab, there isn't even anywhere to enter your mailing address or futher information about youself. So how could they have mailed these alleged checks? I e-mailed a young lady named Kirsty Marshall who said she forwarded my information and then politely asked how I got her contact information.
I am frustrated that I have wasted time and getting no answer. How can a panel ignore their panelists like this? I feel cheated and unappreciated. Like I fell for the oldest trick in the book. What am I supposed to do at this point? Where do I go next?
