Avoid Z Gallerie - Poor Quality and Customer Service

Amazing service
I wanted to order two sofas during the 20 percent sale and I was not sure about the color. The sales manager Carolina was amazing! She sent me the swatches so fast and she honored the sale price even though the sale had ended before I would get my swatches. She followed up with me and made sure everything was taken care of properly. She was so professional and helpful! Love Z gallerie and how awesome their team is!
Received broken item
I ordered two sets of champagne flutes, which I absolutely love. The stem on one of the flutes arrived broken. I contacted the Z Gallerie customer service and immediately got a response. They replaced my broken champagne flute at no charge, and the matter was resolved within a week. Karla was helping me throughout the process and was more than helpful and left the lines of communication open throughout while the claim was being processed.
Easy online purchase and quick shipping
I love visiting Zgallerie to check out their framed art and canvass painting offerings. Great variety and unique designs. I recently purchased some art online for an executive suite at our new office. The order was easy to place, and the art was shipped in great condition very quickly. I was nervous to spend a couple hundred dollars online for a triptych painting I couldn't physically see in person, but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the condition - looked just like the photo online. Exceptional Customer Service - Zgallerie Atlanta
I placed an order online that would not have reached me in time for my event. After calling the Atlanta store I spoke with DaRRell Sims, Customer Service. He informed me he had all but 4 of the items. I told him I would be driving 4 hours to get to his store to pick up the items for my event on the next day. DaRRell met me at the door, greeted me with a smile and assured me that all of my items were pulled and ready to be rung up, he even assisted me in purchasing additional items that I needed for my event. Best customer service ever
I had the opportunity to apply for credit on line at zgallerie recently. For some reason I was having trouble completing checkout with Citizens Bank. When I called Zgallerie I spoke with Fredy Romero who went above and beyond in helping me by walking me through finalizing the checkout process and explaining to me how the credit card that I was approved for works. He also took care of placing the order on his end, which took me several attempts to do!
Thanks to Mr. Fredy Romero everything went smoothly and expeditiously! A job done exceptionally well in my humble opinion!

Z GALLERIE MADE GOOD ON ISSUES
Below is my original review since that time I have been contacted by Z Gallerie and they has shipped out a new clock and have a team scheduled to assemble the media console. Mark Miller Manager of Store Operations contacted me personally on several occasions and provided the type of service I expected from this company. Great products OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Wish I would have seen this before I placed an order and hoping this review will stop others from making the same mistake. DON'T ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS. Ordered a clock as a Christmas Present that arrived broken - they will not take it back since they will only allow a return 30 days from date of purchase. Also purchased the Xena media cabinet. Both the Bill of Lading & the packing slip say white glove delivery with set up. When I called & sent an email requesting the freight payment be refunded they said I did not pay for White Glove Deliver and will not refund anything.

Dario was rude and not helpful. I placed an order on or near December 3rd. My credit card was charged on December 6th. When I called to inquire about the order, Dario couldn't pull it up and said my phone number and address were not on file. I asked to speak with a supervisor since my card was charged. He placed me on hold, then came back and pretended he couldn't hear my answer him, then hung up. I called a store in the CA area, they were able to pull up my order with no problem, then proceeded to tell me it was cancelled with a ticket by Dario.

I purchased two nightstands for $599 each with store credits. I’m a member of the trade program. You were having a sale giving $100 off orders over $500 each. I called the trade program and was promised a one time $200 credit to go back on my card. I received a $53 credit inly. I have called, e mailed and to date can reach no one to rectify this situation. Glass dining table exploded
I purchased a glass dining room table several years ago and on 8/16/23 it exploded into a million pieces for no apparent reason. Daughter and boyfriend were sitting down to dinner and it just blew up. Fortunately they were not injured other than minor cuts. The glass is so infested in the tufted leather chairs that I also do not want them back in the house. It’s a total lost and I hope z gallerie will do something to replace it.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AS TO STATUS OF ONLINE ORDER.
I order a Swivel Chair sometime in Mid July. They never informed me that it was on backorder.
When I called to see the status of delivery, I was told delivery would be first to second week of July. As of today, 7/19/23, I have NOT received my order.
I called again today and now being told sometime at the beginning of August.
If I would have know that this would have taken 3 months for delivery, I WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED THE CHAIR>
This is UNACCEPTABLE as my Credit Card has been charged.

As often as I can visit ZGallerie in AZ I will! I love the artwork I particularly. I live in Bend Oregon and we are remodeling our home. I went to Z Gallerie web site to purchase a piece of art for our guest room. I have been so excited to receive it to put the finishing touch in the new room. It took two weeks to receive the order and once it arrived the box was wide open with no bubble wrap or protection whatsoever. I pulled the art out of the box and it was wrapped in cling wrap. I could see through the plastic that the art was more of a cheap print. It was so tacky looking I didn’t even unwrap it. I immediately called to return it. I was told it was a custom order. I had absolutely no idea I was ordering a custom piece of art! I was told it said it on the order page. I however never noticed it. Why would I think I was ordering a custom piece directly off your website with no specific custom options? I was very surprised to say the least! I spoke with several customer service agents and they all apologized repeatedly. After being transferred to a few agents they agreed to return the item at my shipping expense. I can not believe I would be asked to pay for this return when I already paid for shipping to receive it. I’m not exactly sure where this art came from but I can guess it wasn’t from a Z Gallerie store as I saw in Scottsdale. The quality is very disappointing, the shipping packaging is pathetic. If I intended to order a custom piece of art from Z Gallerie I would be very upset to receive it in this poor condition. So now I have to look for another piece of art, I have to purchase shipping tape and bubble wrap and take time out of my day plus pay for shipping to make this right for me! I find this so disappointing and so disheartening. I am requesting to have this art piece picked up at my door and I will leave it in the exact condition it was delivered. I don’t even feel it would be ethical to have me print the return label and take time to return it. This is absolutely awful customer service. As I am doing a complete remodel I have been ordering everything online and have only experienced high quality customer service from well know names. ZGallerie has completely surprised me in a very disappointing way. Can you please arrange for this piece of “art” to be picked up immediately? Delay in delivery and then refusal to take back partial order
Z gallery delivered a dresser and have delayed the end tables delivery by 2 months.
When I requested the order be completely cancelled, dresser picked up and money refunded I was told there would be a " restocking fee."
Not sure if they understand that not delivering the item as mentioned during purchase if perfectly reasonable grounds for the cancellation.
I was hung up on multiple times by customer service and now not sure how to proceed further. I have half an order in my living room and the other half on its from Indonesia due to arrive 2 months late.
Desired outcome: Pick up of the dresser and full refund of my $1658.
Purchase of leather sofa
I purchased a white leather sofa and an extended warranty, and when I called on the warranty I am told I am not covered. Did you sell me a gimmick or fraudulent warranty?
When I purchased the warranty, I was told that tears cigarette burns, etc. were all covered under this warranty. When I made a request because my sofa on one seat has these yellow dots where I actually don’t even sit on that section and they say it’s not covered because of the leather discoloration. So what’s the use of having a warranty and unfortunately to say that I am definitely not happy with the quality of your leather and the look of this pleat that has never gone away.
Desired outcome: To replace this Leather sofa that is of poor quality.I have already sent pictures to your warranty company app one year ago.

Terrible customer service
I live in Palm Springs, CA. The closest Z Gallerie to me in located in Corona, CA which is roughly 70 miles away. I went to the store on November 28, 2022, to look for a sofa and chairs. I walked in and was greeted by Daisy. She told me that they have a sale of 20 - 70% off select items and that ALL orders over $79 ship and/or are delivered for free. She let me browse then followed up with me. I asked a few questions then decided to purchase the Ophla Sofa and 2 Lottie Chairs. It was roughly a 15-minute process. Once Daisy started to ring up my purchase, she then asked a coworker for help. Her coworker didn't know so she said I need to text my General Manager to find something out really quick. While waiting on a response from the GM, she asked what I would assume was a supervisor, for help. No one was able to answer her question. I asked her what the issue was. She said that they needed to charge me a delivery fee because I live so far away. She knew she told me that delivery over $79 was free so she was making the effort to correct it. The GM got back to her and said it was ok not to charge me for delivery. While asking the so-called supervisor for help, things got extremely convoluted. They told me that I had to pay a delivery fee, but they would discount the sofa by the cost of the delivery fee. Long story short, I made a decision to purchase within 15 minutes and it took a hour for them to ring me up. No one really knew what the sales were, what qualified for free delivery, or how to even ring up a purchase. They told me that they had to charge me for the sofa on one transaction and the chairs on another because they ship from different warehouses. On top of that, I had to pay a higher tax rate based off the location of where the items were being shipped from. They finally figured out how to put things on one transaction and asked for my credit card. I provided it and oops, she hit the delete button and my whole purchase was gone. She had to start all over. When she finally entered it again, she ran my credit card but then said the credit card reader on the computer didn't work and she needed to run it on a different machine a second time. I figured at this point I was going to be charged twice. The whole experience was frustrating and exhausting. I would expect this from a store like Walmart but not Z Gallerie. I am now waiting on my furniture to arrive at the end of February. I hope I get what I ordered.

Stella couch
I bought this couch over 10 years ago along with many other items from them (estimate at least $8,000 over the years). The sofa cushions are sagging now and I wanted to replace them with another fabric. So I called again tonight for the third time to please send the swatch’s so I can order the replacement cushions-please let me give you more money!
Was told the will call me back in 1-2 days on an update from “the supplier” of the swatches. From what I have seen on this site not expecting much to come from that comment……. How can I trust that they will deliver anything on time or made correctly after this? So disappointing as have been a loyal customer for years-ugh!

Purchase of victoria cake knife (sku 0405204fauo)
I purchased online a cake knife and server for my daughter's wedding. The cake knife broke on its first use cutting the wedding cake one month later. I have asked for a refund and was denied because I reported it after the 14-day return window.
I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the product. I chose to order from Z Gallerie instead of amazon hoping to avoid just this issue.
Also, the return window was unreasonable for this item. I do not see how you can purchase an item like this (typically used for events planned in advance) and be expected to return it within 2 weeks.
Here was our timeline:
April 14 item received
April 30 wedding (display only)
May 14 wedding reception - breaking on first use
May 17 damage reported
After the refund was refused I asked again for consideration and was in contact with the escalations department multiple times over the past few months and have continually refused over the fact that it was reported 33 days after receiving the item, never addressing the defective merchandise.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for this cake server set that broke on first use within a month of purchase.
I received a full refund. It did take 4 months and many emails, but they did make it right with the refund. Memories can't be replaced, but the refund took a bit of the sting out of the circumstances.

Missing top
My husband order me two large ceramic filigree jars. He was placed the order them on March 19 the jars arrived on May 1. I was super excited because I saw the jars when we visited Las Vegas in March for our Anniversary. I open the box and one of my jars was missing the top. Instead of them just shipping me the missing top. I got ship the jar with the missing top back. Because their shipping department package my order without all the pieces. Very unhappy customer

Online system and customer service
Let me start by saying that until last week I've always had a good experience with this company and their products. Last week I received an email with a 20% promotion. I attempted to buy the products but the system would not honor the password that has been used for almost a year. Although I knew that it was absolutely the correct password in order to save time I just requested a password reset and nothing. Never received an email for a password reset. I did this four times and nothing. Finally I had to invest my time to get on the phone only to get connected to a foreign country and speak to a foreigner which is rarely the best experience for an American. After investing a considerable a lot of time the young man that I spoke with told me he could not reset my password and instead he had to put in a ticket and this ticket would take 2 to 3 days. That's ridiculous! I've never heard of a password reset taking 2 to 3 days. Today I received another solicitation and see that the sale price is no longer offered,, so I ended again how to invest my time to make yet another phone call and was switched around but told that's a 20% discount would be honored. When I finally got to the sales department they refused to honor the discount although I explained in detail how I've been trying to place this order since last week and it is not my fault, it is Z Gallerie's fault for never sending me a password reset and for having the ridiculously long process that I have to get on the phone and speak to a foreigner and then wait two or three days for a password reset. Very very disappointing!

Order placed 11/3/2021 using visa gift card, now they are saying I need to call and give credit card?
Who has to pay twice for a product they ordered?
Order 312913, placed on 11/3/2021, it was authorized that day and posted payment to ZGallerie on 11/11/2021.
After a couple of inquiries on status, they reply 01/11/2022 and say I need to call them to submit payment …. Again. I checked with visa and those funds were provided to Zgallerie on 11/11/2021. They take so long to ship customer's order.

Defective art frame/poor customer service
I received my order 403590 (DSI SWORD OF DOM - 40X60) on Wednesday 1/5/21. Circa Sofa & Duplicity Coffee Table $2500 dollars later both are to be trashed!
Z Gallerie has completely failed on every level. Circa Sofa arrived with center lower front indentation that's deformed un-tufted, a powdery white substance spilled out. Two top Right tufted indentations are deformed smashed overlapping, pillows are both crumpled up, bumpy mess, totally unacceptable! Seven (7) photos sent to Escalations. Price Adjustment Requested.
Duplicity Coffee Table finish is tarnished bronze, not appearing silver, every meeting side seem is indented appearing damaged. Entire frame is defective product. Three (3) Photos sent to Escalation. Price Adjustment Requested.
Shocking Z Gallerie defective, damaged, extremely poor quality products received, poor workmanship, compounded by extensive wait times.
Z Gallerie consistently puts customers in financially upside down position wasting their time and money without replacements readily available from alternative sources due to minimal availability coupled with extensive transportation delivery issues creating extensive wait times.
Z Gallerie to further inconvenience the customer and creating additional financial losses missing work around unreliable deliveries, terrible customer service going nowhere. Escalations department crippled refusing timely responses or having a shred of integrity to provide price adjustments for it's damaged, defective merchandise. We are stuck with defective damaged product, we will not and can not take any additional time off work for Z Gallerie's faulty products and delayed deliveries.
Z Gallerie product is not what is advertised, product is not what is displayed in store or what's advertised online. Financial compensation requested since October 26 for receiving defective damaged merchandise we are not stuck with after donating our own personal furniture to make room for new pieces that all arrived defective.
We've requested credit for both the defective Duplicity Coffee Table & Circa Sofa totaling $600.00 to resolve receiving defective damaged products with no response from Escalations Team who seem absent at best.

I made a purchase on October 20, 2021 and received a call on October 22, 2021 from Francisco in sales stating they could not honor the price due to an online error. I asked for Corporate telephone number and was placed on hold. A few seconds later, Francisco hung up the phone. I received a email from Francisco saying thanks for calling to cancel your order. I never gave Francisco consent to cancel my order. He's a liar and I believe when you lie, you'll steal. I emailed Richard Myers. I am still waiting for a response. I have made a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission regarding their bad business practice.

I ordered two (2) sconces on 6/6/20... waited until 8/12th to find they would not have them until November. I cancelled the order on 8/12/20... told to wait 7-10 business days for the $86.29 refund which they did not send! Called today, 8/27/20 and told that the code was not put in and wait another 10 days. I had to call my bank to get assistance!
Wouldn’t give me a price adjustment even though I was told to specifically email them. And it took forever for them to respond. I could have rebought the item and returned the one I had literally just received. Their rationale made no sense. I was a new customer. But their lack of quality in the products as well as their unwillingness to adjust a product price (that they should have) by $30 or so just cost them a customer. And I have been spending a lot on decor lately. Will not buy from them again. Go to Macys instead. Macys will even price match.
Bedding and customer service
I am starting to think this company does not really exist. I made a purchase several weeks ago and it has not been shipped. Each time I try and track the order I get the same message, "Will be shipped mid to late month". I have called no less than 10 times and each time I am on hold for no less than an hour. No one ever picks up the phone. Just hold music. I think this is a scam.
California king luke bed
Order bed in November. Was supposed to be delivered in January. Bed did not show up till end of March. When bed arrived it has a queen base and we were told that we will be sent right base and people will come and install it. Just the base showed up with no one to install it. Now we still don't have a bed. It's been six months almost and we still don't have a bed to sleep on
We ordered a bed online in November. The bed was supposed to arrive early Jan but did not arrive till end in March 2020. When it arrived it was missing parts that we had to call to get ordered. We were told someone will come with the parts to install in a week or two. Today 4-4 we got a big bod in the mail from Z gallerie. When we called we were told we had to install ourselves. This is absolute nonsense we don't have the tools or the strength to put this together. Either compensate us or come please take the bed back
