I have been buying from Zalora for more than 7 years and have been returning items on numerous occasions with no issue. I ordered a few items (clothes and a pair of shoe) in Jan 2024. I only managed to return 3 tops on 16 Feb as sizing was wrong. Two of the items were from seller so I ensured that the clothes tag was enclosed in the returned parcel. However about two weeks later they informed me that the returned item is rejected as the tag was not ‘attached’ to the top. I informed them that the tag came off as I was trying the item but after numerous emails they said the only way for the tag to fall off is if I cut the plastic tag that was holding it-it sounded like they were accusing me of lying. So my item was rejected just because the paper tag was not attached to the item - how ridiculous is this. The tag and the top were returned in good condition and unworn. They are claiming it’s the seller’s return policy. How fair is this? The whole situation is absurd and has made me not want toy buy from that seller (name of seller is Hook) and also ZALORA as they obviously do not care about their customers.
