I have purchased 3 pairs of shoes in the same order all size UK6. 2 of the pairs were too big and were sent back. In a couple of days I’ve received a call from Zando saying my refund is denied due to one shoe (takkies) being dirty inside. I’ve tried the shoes with the white socks on so it’s definitely not my fault but they didn’t take any arguments and said the shoes will be returned to me. They’ve returned the shoes and honestly the “dirt” mark they are talking about is absolute nonsense you can not see it unless you have super vision. I would’ve not notice it myself if they didn’t say it is there, so I highly doubt I could put a dirt on wearing washed white socks and it’s a good enough excuse to not give a refund as the mark they are talking about is barely even there. This being said I will NEVER buy anything from them again as they blame nonsense on loyal customers.

No refund for dress that doesn't fit
I ordered a dress from Zando which was delivered to me on the 9th of February 2022. When I opened the package, I noticed that there was a smell of body odour on the dress. I was not impressed that Zando would send me a dress in such a condition, but I reluctantly tried it on thinking that I would simply wash the dress if it fitted well as I always do so anyway before wearing something new. The dress was out of it's packaging for at most 5 minutes and once I discovered that it didn't fit well, I neatly returned it to the same packaging it arrived in. I requested a return on the dress stating that it didn't fit as the reason for my return and the package was collected on 11 February. Yesterday, the 16th February, I received an SMS and email that I would not be refunded for the item because it didn't pass quality control. After querying this they said that I returned the dress with that smell. I explained to them that the smell was already there when I received it, but they still refuse to refund me. Surely it is also important for them to check the items before sending it out to the customer. I should not have received the dress in that state in the first place! Now I am being blamed for it.
Desired outcome: I just want my money back.
Poor customer service
They don't even deserve a star, none at all. I bought a pair of sneakers and they delivered the wrong order, wrapped nicely, something that is not even on their website for that matter and all they could tell me is that they are sorry and about their policies. I spoke to two agents and both were contradicting each other.
A whole day, they call me to tell me the same thing, we are sorry and telling me they going to compensate me with R150 voucher will be put into my account with my refund and they next tell me no that can not happen, it will be put against my Zando account. basically, I am forced to buy with them again. bloody scammers!

So I bought from Zando from last year and every time they collect they don't refund me. This is fraud. I have more than 5 refund owed to me. I am so disappointed. Iv sent emails and I think its time I escalate it to my attorneys.

I ordered(order no:[protected]) two pairs of shoes on the 21 June 2021 and on the 23 June 2021 I received an e-mail notifying me that the items I have ordered have been cancelled and refund has been processed. I am still not clear as to why those items were cancelled as the e-mail was also not clear. I waited for 10 days for my money to be refunded as per e-mail I received. However 10days past but i could not get my money, until on the 10th 0f July I decided to enquire about my refund. Three days later I received an email after I have missed their call that I should check my account its in credit and it was done in June already. I then sent another enquiry because I was not sure who said I want my Zando account to be credited. Then today 15/07/21 I received an e-mail notifying me that my refund was processed as a voucher. And they apologize for the inconvenience caused. First of all i would like to know who authorised for my refund to be processed as a voucher? I don't remember getting a call from Zando asking me how would I like my refund to be done.
I was buying shoes which myself and my daughter had to wear on the 27th of June but my order was cancelled. Therefore I had to come up with plan B quickly and I bought shoes on credit, hoping to pay them off with my refund. Now how do I pay my other debt if zando gives a voucher? I am not interested in buying anything at Zando now and all I want is my money to be refunded in cash or be paid back into my account. I cannot be forced to buy at Zando, when I was willing to buy my order was cancelled for no specific reason. I believe it is my right as a customer to be refunded as I am not in possession of Zando goods. And I believe I am also protected my Consumer Protection Act. Can this matter be resolved amicably and just refund me as a customer please.

In November 2020 I ordered some clothing items at zando

I'm only in possession of royal T High Skinny jeans light blue trouser which was R699.
my issues are as follows:
1 The other delivered items were returned in accordance with the suppliers terms and condition, however I have not received any refund which on my account reflect that a refund was completed on the 4th of December 2020
2 THE BALLERINA BLING TUTU valued at R340.00 AND LEATHER BOW SET PIECE valued at R180, were never delivered instead, retrieving ref were provided upon delivery : SKU

Brough a Daniel Wellington watch online via Zando. Mark off 50% at this time. Order was placed and Payment was made immediately and successfully, see proof of payment attached. But Zando canceled my order stating that payment was unsuccessful.

We have purchased clothing from Zando somewhere in June 2020. One of the items did not fit properly and we lodged a return. The return was collected a week or so after it was logged. We then heard nothing for a while and followed up, we were informed that the courier could not get hold of us to collect. Bit the collection was already made. We informed Zando about this and they confirm they received it. We are however still waiting for the refund to be made. We have sent several requests and just don't receive any feedback. This is my last request, here after the matter will be sent to the ombudsman and I will name and shame Zando on every social media platform I possibly can!
Orders placed and cancelled and refund
Ref no [protected]. Early July 2020 I ordered and paid forcthhree mens tracksuits. The money went off my account. Only one tracksuit was delivered. The rest of the order was cancelled for some reason. After many emails to customer services, customer transactions and customer complaints I was advised by email on 3rd August that I would be refunded for the two items cancelled. I advised that the one item received we would keep. Simple enough right? Wrong.
1/ There is a driver from Jumia always harassing my family to collect the one item received and paid for.
2/ No refund has been received for the other two items paid for NOT received, despite bring told it would take between 7-10 days, we are now on day 16.

I'm very frustrated by the BAD SERVICE I have received from ZANDO.
I placed an order (No: [protected]) on the 22nd of January 2020 and it was NEVER delivered. I called mid-February and was told the driver couldn't find me YET I was home the whole week because I was booked off sick.
The agent confirmed my details and promised my order will be delivered and STILL it wasn't. On the 24th of February 2020 I got an email to say my order has been delivered and STILL it wasn't I called and spoke to GCOBANI who advised that the order was back at the warehouse and finance department will process a refund….
Today AGAIN on the 02nd of MARCH 2020 I called and spoke to MISHKAH FREDERICKS who said she has requested the warehouse to update the status of my order so that my refund can be processed WHICH STILL HASN"T.
I will escalate the matter to my attorney as I'm being sent from pillar to post, you guys are supposed to IMMEDIATELY EXPEDITE THE ISSUE OF MY REFUND DUE TO THE INCONVINIENCE CAUSED because it's now almost 3 months. Why can't the status of my order be updated immediately? Regardless of the departments…..

Poor service
I was the biggest fan and customer till recently when I tried to place an order on the 10/02/2020 regarding method of payment. I used to get different options of payment but now it automatically select for me credit card payment and it doesn't give me options to change. I've been calling and sending emails to get assistance but never got any response for my emails and nobody answers the phone except for the answering machine. I am so disappointed in Zando
incompetence
I ordered something but cancelled it the same time, zando ships my item after 5 days despite me cancelling the same time.

What a poor refund system Zando has. I ordered a shoe and the shoe came damaged, so which means Zando does not do quality checks on their items if they despatch damaged items. The shoe was collected on the 31 January 2020 and I have not being refunded. Everytime you call Zando there's always an excuse, the package has not arrived at the warehouse, the item still needs to be quality checked (why wasn't it quality check on despatch) crazy, the item is approved for a refund but the refund has not being approved. What poor poor service from Zando, I will not order from Zando in a hurry, they are plenty more stores that offer online shopping with far better service, wake-up Zando and improve your service.
