I never leave feedback but this last update is the best Update for YEARS!
I never leave feedback but this last update is the best Update for YEARS! Now you can reorder steps and duplicate them in a Zap. This was so badly needed and is now possible. Support is always helpful and digs deeper if needed.
No, I'm not happy with Zapier
No, I'm not happy with Zapier. Whenever I ask for support, it never ends well. I can't seem to create a functional zap, and it's frustrating. I'm seriously considering quitting Zapier altogether. I wish I could give them 0 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible. So, I'm giving them 1 star as a form of protest.
Great tool - helps me and my clients to connect apps and automate tasks without needing to have a dev team
Great tool - helps me and my clients to connect apps and automate tasks without needing to have a dev team. It's nice cuz it allows us to use the software we actually like instead of having to pick softwares that have native integrations with each other - we just use what we like the most and then know we can always connect our apps together later with Zapier.
It's a good product, but it seems like it's only for big businesses
It's a good product, but it seems like it's only for big businesses. The free version lets you do 2 steps, and the only other choice is a pricier version that gives you unlimited steps. They should have a middle option that lets you do maybe 5 or 6 steps, so it can attract a different group of people. I have zaps I want to create with 3-4 steps, but I don't want to shell out $20 a month for that. I'd be willing to pay $5.
I never had worse customer support from any tech company
I never had worse customer support from any tech company. There's no support at all. I filed many support tickets and never heard back. Other problems: 1. The system can't handle bulk Zaps. Since I couldn't get support, I spent hundreds of dollars to "upgrade" to *** Zaps a month. After about ***, the system chokes up and "holds" Zaps. It claims it does this because maybe you accidentally didn't want to run so many at a time. Really? I didn't want to run 10% of the Zap volume I purchased? When you try to "replay" the zaps, it says "error" and "Contact support," and of course, support never replies, so that is useless. 2. It uses more zaps per task. How is moving a contact from one service to another 2, 3, or even 4 tasks? I moved a few thousand contacts before the system choked up, but that was counted as *** tasks? 3. I activated a zap that I had turned off for almost two years and it went crazy, acting on old data it thought was new and used up all my zaps, holding more tasks, and then I couldn't get support, of course, so I paid more money to just buy more tasks to run through and pay for their errors. 4. Their service is slow. It's like *** watching an MP3 download for three hours while I wait for tasks to run at about 15 per second. Is this running on a slow computer? Bad code? People who don't care about their customers? I suspect all of the above. 5. The interface pretends to be easy to use with modern styling, but actually has pretty bad UX. 6. Why are tasks held until the next billing period when I have over *** tasks remaining for this billing period. I wish there was an alternative for exactly what I need to do with Zapier because I only use it because I have no choice and using Zapier is the worst experience in the world. I hate their company and their software and their existing support. Look hard to make sure you have no alternative.

I had a problem with your system that started using all of my tasks as soon as I paid for the service
I had a problem with your system that started using all of my tasks as soon as I paid for the service. Now it's asking me to pay for more tasks. Your customer service rep won't let me talk to a manager.
I am receiving emails 2 to 3 a day from this company
I am receiving emails 2 to 3 a day from this company. I do not have an account. I have tried to reach them but apparently they have no way of getting in touch with them unless I log in or create an account, which I do not want to do. There is no email or *** to contact them. Why would anyone use a company that has no class or sense of customer service.
I signed up for their services and discovered that they're a scam
I signed up for their services and discovered that they're a scam. The integrations they promote don't work, and they lack phone support, only offering email support. The individuals who handle the emails are unhelpful and fail to respond. I reached out to *** via email, and he sent a single reply that didn't address or resolve the problem before ignoring me completely. I strongly advise avoiding this fraudulent company at all costs.
I can't get into my account and the recovery keys they gave me didn't work
I can't get into my account and the recovery keys they gave me didn't work. So I emailed customer service, but they only do email. They told me to give them the credit card number linked to the account, but that card got closed a long time ago and I told them that. They could check my identity another way, but they won't. Every time I get a response, it's from a different person. I've talked to about 5 people now. I did manage to get the old account number from my credit card company and gave it to them, but another person replied and asked for the last 4 digits when I already gave them the whole card number. It's been over a week and I still can't access my account, but they keep charging me for a service I can't use.
I signed up for this thing called Eventable, you know, at eventable.com
I signed up for this thing called Eventable, you know, at eventable.com. They charge me 20 bucks every month without me even lifting a finger. Now, I wanna cancel this subscription, but it's like they're making it impossible. The website tells me to go to "Account Settings > Plans & Billing" and click on "Cancel Subscription." But guess what? When I get there, there's no "Cancel Subscription" link. Instead, it says my subscription will expire on Aug 23, 2021, and if I don't reactivate it, I'll lose access to all the cool stuff I paid for. I sent them an email on 8/13 asking them to cancel it, but they haven't bothered to reply. And to top it all off, they charged me again on 8/23. Seriously, I just want my money back and for them to delete my credit card info.
I've been using Zapier for like 4-5 years now, and it's been a big part of my businesses
I've been using Zapier for like 4-5 years now, and it's been a big part of my businesses. In 2019, I got my Zapier Expert Certification, which is cool. But man, I'm really disappointed with how this company handles my questions and concerns. I've been making these multi-step zaps since 2016, and lately, I've been having more issues with the Zapier Platform, even with the simplest automations that only have 2 steps. Sometimes the zaps don't play, or they don't trigger, or they won't let me turn them on. And randomly, my accounts and apps in Zapier just disconnect for no reason. It's frustrating, you know? And then there are zaps that stay in a waiting status for days or even months. It's a mess. That's just a quick summary of the problems I've been having lately. I've wasted so many hours, like actual work hours, trying to get some support from Zapier's support team. But let me tell you, their customer service is a solid 1 out of 10. I honestly don't think they know what they're doing.
I bought Zapier on August 19 for $239.88, which is the annual payment for the Starter plan
I bought Zapier on August 19 for $239.88, which is the annual payment for the Starter plan. They promised me 20 Zap automations, including 3 premium apps and connections via web hooks. I had one working Zap, but when I added another one, it never worked. So, in total, I had 2 Zaps that didn't work. I didn't get access to any premium apps. In January, I asked for support to get the second Zap working, but their emailed steps didn't help at all. I had to keep emailing them, which caused delays, and each time they just said to try something else. They don't have a support chat or phone number, so it was frustrating. After many emails and trying to figure it out on my own, I decided to check the premium apps. According to their website, I needed to upgrade to the Team Plan, which costs $448 per month, just to use that Zap. Why didn't the support team know this? I wasted so much time. That's when I decided to ask for a refund because even the first Zap stopped working. I followed the refund steps, and the last step said I had to cancel my account to get a refund. So, I cancelled my account, but then a message popped up saying that refunds are not available after 30 days. I emailed them multiple times asking for a refund or to reinstate my account, but they said I could only get a credit to purchase something else. They added a credit of $129.20 a few days later, which I could use for a new annual plan or a monthly plan. But now, I would have to pay $29.99 per month instead of the annual rate of $19.99. What's the point if the zaps don't even work? The last email I got from them said that my request had been closed. I want a refund of $129.20, like they said I would get when I cancelled my account. I didn't get what they promised.
About Zapier
One of the key features of Zapier is its ability to create "Zaps," which are automated workflows that connect two or more apps together. These Zaps are created using a simple trigger-action model, where a trigger event in one app initiates an action in another app. For example, a new email received in Gmail can trigger a notification in Slack or a new entry in a Google Sheets spreadsheet can automatically create a new task in Trello.
Zapier supports integration with over 2,000 popular web applications, including tools like Salesforce, Slack, Trello, Google Drive, and many more. This extensive app directory allows users to connect and automate workflows across a wide range of functions, such as project management, customer relationship management, marketing, and data analysis.
In addition to its vast library of pre-built integrations, Zapier also offers a feature called "Multi-Step Zaps" that enables users to create more complex workflows by chaining multiple actions together. This allows for greater customization and flexibility in automating tasks and processes.
Zapier's user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it accessible to users of all technical backgrounds. The platform provides a visual builder that allows users to set up Zaps by selecting triggers and actions from drop-down menus, eliminating the need for any coding knowledge.
Furthermore, Zapier offers various pricing plans to cater to different user needs, including a free plan with limited functionality and paid plans with additional features and higher usage limits. This pricing flexibility makes Zapier suitable for individuals, small businesses, and large enterprises alike.
Overall, Zapier is a reliable and efficient automation tool that empowers users to streamline their workflows, save time, and increase productivity. Its extensive app directory, user-friendly interface, and customizable automation capabilities make it a popular choice for businesses and individuals looking to automate their tasks and integrate their favorite web applications seamlessly.
