This company said to buy their bids, I spend $100.00 on bids, however, while I was bidding on a gold bar they stopped my bidding and said I should pay the fixed price. The bid was $22.00 and the fixed price was $79.00. I guess I spent too many of my bids and they shut me down. You have to pay to bid and you have to pay the final bid price. They they decide you have bid too much and force you to pay full price anyway. This is stealing. They can keep my remaining 114 bids because I won't use them for anything more than a lesson in being so stupid. I hate this trickery. I give them money and they take it, they make me think I will get something for it just to pull it away at the last minute. They must be laughing themselves sick over how many stupid people are falling for their scam. Any they are getting away with it. So much for trust.

I was on Overstock.com and when it asked for credit info I did so thinking I was still on Overstock, but zbiddy had hacked into my transaction and next thing I know I've purchased 265 bids, a dollar value of $159.00! Major scam! Don't do it.

I also was on overstock.com and looking to buy some of their merchandise (in the past I did purchase from them) and like Shawn Peretz said above, I also found in my email a notice that I purchased $265 credits on zbiddy for $159, although I never intended to do such of think. I was curious and I searched their site and got the filling the all that people that is really getting to win those bids are working for that site. It is a BIG BIG SCAM and we all that got scammed should get together to open a class action against this site. I wonder what overstock.com has to do with ZBiddy because they had to give them the permission to use their site, so, they have to be aware of this scam – is overtstock.com working with ZBiddy to scam us?

Wow I cannot believe that overstock will let Zbiddy use the credit card info that should be private at all times. Now ppl dont use websites you dont trust purchase from good sites like Amazon, Ebay, and store brands not this scammers that all they do is trick you into getting your money. I will certainly get the word out about this scammers and they are going down, how can ppl still use these sites? Right when i saw the website for zbiddy i decided to search for more info about it because i knew it was a scam getting an ipad for $0.46 yeah right! Then how would they make profit out of it if they sold it for less then what the product is actually worth! all lies and i will try and help more ppl stay away from this stupid site and all others that are similar to it. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT "TheLoveFist II" SAYS!

Zbiddy is a crap shoot with loaded dice. Bids were subtracted from my account, but not all were recognized. Lesson Learned. Don't do it unless you have a thousand bids. Expensive gamble.

I was not aware that I would be automatically charged for bids when I signed up. They also, without notice, charged me for another set of bids . Why I do not know. They refused to return the fees. The auctions are impossible to win and there are only about two items up at a time. All other auctions are for bid amounts or gift cards which are available at a cost of $13.oo for a ten dollar gift card. Stay away!

ZBiddy is a scam - I have been monitoring this auction (I did sign-up and I bought a 'bid-package.
I NOticed that the same 'bidders' seem to be bidding on the auction running up the price - and eventually winning, over and over. They are obviously 'bots' - (roBOT bidders - not real people)- so the real people who bid, have no chance of wining. Unless it's for a $5 Chilis Gift card - big deal...
Total SCAM - don't waste your money !

ZBiddy I'm pretty sure is a SCAM. Today I began to monitor some of the auctions. Not ones for the simple $10 Chili cards or for the EBiddy "bid packages" but for like the Kindles and IPads. One name that keeps coming up is "WONT STOP" using the EZBuddy option. This "person" or probably a "bot" bids..bids..bids and then vanishes and shows up on another site.

I was curious and went to the on line "live" customer support option. I asked them how I could change my name nick_nick which was automatically assigned by ZBiddy to something cool like this "WONT STOP" person. The customer service rep told me that there is no way to pick our own name or to change your screen name. If that is the case then how did this bidder get the name "WONT STOP"?

At this point I'm very, very suspicious of ZBiddy. When my bids are gone I'm canceling my membership and warning others to avoid this site.

Well I don't think they have a monthly subscription option that you'd be charged on monthly basis automatically. Some one in your family or you must have authorized the transaction and thus the payment went through. Get your card checked.

There are auction sites whom you can trust like ebay, Quibids, swoopo, Zbiddy, etc. Personally, I can say that Zbiddy is a better site.

I just joined the website. its really whatever and not that worth it. I just registered today and wasted a couple hours of my life, but I also read a bunch of reviews. What I can tell you is that anyone who advocates and reviews Zbiddy positively is probably working for Zbiddy. I see a lot of spam-like reviews even in comment sections like this that have to be workers for Zbiddy. for example, I am sure Henryadam80 is probably working for them. As far as bots go, I am really not sure. But here are the tips and hints I can give you after some hours of figuring it out.

First of all heres whats important in the way it works; when the item is almost running out of time (below 13 seconds) the name of the bidder is shown under the time. anytime the time is below 13 seconds and someone else bids, the clock restarts to 13 seconds; so its pointless trying to bid at 1 second because all that will do is restart the clock, and get the person who almost won pissed, and he will make sure you wont win. The only way to win is for everyone to just be down for someone else to win (maybe out of pitty? or disbelief that someone can actually win?). Whenever I see a bid below 5 seconds, I dont bid over it, I would rather just have that person win, and I hope they would do the same for me (even though I doubt that will ever happen). Because the clock restarts to 13 seconds every time someone bids, an auction literally can last hours or days with less than 13 seconds left on it's clock. So here are some hints That I can give you to increase your chance of success if you are still down to join Zbiddy (after all I told you, you can see your chances are very slim in winning).

hint 1: Biddyz doesnt let you choose your own username, they just make it similar to your email address you input. Ie. my email is gorillapimpin, they made my username gorilla_435 or some random numbers. Maybe you should make a new username like plzletwin@whatever.com since others can see your username before they decide to bid and take back the clock 10 seconds. It seems like its really about others just letting you win at the end of the day, and having a friendly username could help.

hint 2: if you want to register and not buy a 60 dollar package, try and sign up but then dont put in the correct billing information, after you press go it will say that you can't continue on because ur billing is messed up, but then if you go to the home site you will see that you did in fact register successfully. You can then go and buy a cheeper package like I did. I think i got 45 bids for 18 or something.

I am married to a great guy, which might be hard to believe after reading this, but he really is. A few weeks ago UPS delivered an envelope to my door, inside was a $50.00 Sears gift card. I called my husband to ask where it came from and he told me about a website called ZBIDDY, and that he had won the card for very little money. That night he came home and we did a little bidding together, and I have to admit it was fun.

This is a practice of theirs. This is not a reputable company and I will be reporting them to the IC3 which is the fraud department for the FBI. It is only a matter of time before they are closed down due to fraudelent activities if they keep this up. The ad read 250 bids for 99 cents NOT 99.00. As of yet I have still not received a confirmation e-mail. WATCH OUT FOR THEM!

I don't believe a word of it. People would not complain if this was a legal operation. Besides if this was a legal operation they would be willing to make things more clearly for their customers when coming to their site. Besides that, if they were not trying to con people they would give people their money back when they mistake the site. You just don't have this many complaints if you are trying to do right for the customers. Anyone knows you can't run a business like this and have all these complaints against you. I think when this is over you may wish you had run a legal business.

It's a SCAM!

Everything people are saying against this fraudulent company is true. After 45 minutes of arguing zbiddy said they are refunding my $99 and I will receive an email in 24-48 hours saying so, and the refund will be complete withing 2 weeks. If it’s not, I’ll be posting again. As soon as I realized I was charged $99 – that at first I thought was my negligence, but after reading reviews see it’s their ploy – I did a live chat to ask for my refund. After 3 minutes I was told I would need to make a phone call. I thought I reached India, but the rep said it was Florida. David began his sales pitch of offering me free bids and just try it.

After 45 minutes of yelling through the phone, and furiously stating I want my $99 back, not a restaurant voucher, gas voucher, discounts – NOTHING! Every time he began his sales pitch up again I rudely stated I didn’t want to hear anything other than the word “REFUND”. I told him I would be putting reviews all over the internet, and while I was saying it, I searched for reviews and found this website. So I began reading to David about this scam, then asked him how he liked working for a company that steals from people. I couldn’t believe that everything that just happened to me I was reading about.

So it’s NOT YOU if you got tricked into this, it’s the website that sucked you in. DON’T accept ANYTHING but a refund. Then report this company to every agency possible and every review possible. I will post it on Facebook to every friend I have. Oh, and I called my Credit Card Company to cancel – they can’t do anything until it’s posted to the account. So I will call back in a day or so.

Thanx its a scam, i've got as far as zbiddy telling me to call for my refund. not only is it scamming its consumers by taking there money, but by the false advertisement that a product was sold for only 28 dollars and 25 cents for a pacific product(let just say a) 100 dollar gift card. WOW! what a savings! Stop, what savings. most bids cost about 40 cent, some less some more. Lets multiply .40 cents times a one penny bid. Thats 40 x 2825= 113000, place the cent mark and u get 1130.00, eleven hundred dollars. U figure it out yourself and see whats really going on. My lord what a scam of scams. Congress needs to step in and make these companys state the truth of what the product was sold for. these companys are breaking all different kinds of laws that are set up to protect us consumers. HELP! And their products are the same thing week in and week out; gift cards, bids, with a i-pod every now and then. dont buy in to their false advertisements

I Got Super Scammed Big Time and MrMarine57 are actually right. I also tried to change my username but no option and no way to do it. I noticed that the only real people bidding have usernames like: bidders name + _+number (i.e: michelle_1234), other than that these are "bots". like what we said, no way to change your username whatsoever in myzbiddy account options. please do not fall for this zbiddy scam. don't waste your money like what we did.

It IS true. Their TOS perfectly states in par. 3 that you are eligible for a refund for 7 days if that's your first bidding package. They tried telling me that I got a "special package for only $99 and for that I'm not entitled to a refund". I had to give in to 75% back and was practically in tears because I felt so stupid. I did research and dound that TOS and I called back and this time I had something behind them and stood my ground. It's a scam and false advertising to lie about something like that. Despite what most might think that is a perfect reason for a lawsuit.

Has anybody gotten their refund yet through this website? They told me I would receive it in 24-48 hours but the email says 5-7 business days. They put me through all that hell for 2 hours on the phone I'm just worried what else ZBiddy will try to pull.

Zbiddy is a scam! They were supposed to return the $50 priceline/thehotelclub gift card value they collected on booking on 5/22/12 a hotel within 3 weeks. It has been over 4 weeks and no word from them except on 6/15/2012: “we got slammed with the PCI compliancy///” whatever PCI compliancy means and why is that my problem that they are not returning my refund? THen on 6/23/012: “It is in our Accounting department now.”. So why should it still be in “accounting” and not in my bank account? No response from priceline/thehotelclub and no emails from zbiddy since I asked them what was going on. Also the value of the items Zbiddy is offering is declining into just a few value items with lots of subscriptions to mags ($18 S&H fee) and more priceline (rip off) hotel cards! Seems like zBidddy is going the way of snoopo with declining values and slow or no returns of gift card amounts that you have to pay in advance to get the value of the hotel cards! beware of these “penny” auctions stealing your dollars!
