Zynex Medical Billing for Supplies that were never ordered! !!!

This company is supposed to be helping people feel good. Instead, they cause headaches by sending supplies that were never ordered and charging you or your insurance company for batteries that can be purchase anywhere. Buyer be wear when you start dealing with this company! ! They are shady!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They will scam you and try to scam your insurance, they even have a local

rep call you and try to be nice and even tell you not to order the extra supplies. Then they will continue to send you supplies for $50/month when you never asked for them. And when you try to call, they leave you on hold for so long you have to hang up. I wish I would of read the horrible reviews first. I was only told there was a fee to basically rent the unit while the see if your insurance approves. Once I paid $250 the machine was mine. I asked multiple times if there were other fees and that I didn’t want any to pay any additional charges. I knew this because the rep told me not to get the supplies. When I finally got a call back, the rep was so rude! I asked for the recorded call with the rep and they said those calls weren’t recorded. Don’t waste your time with this company. They are still trying to bill my insurace even after I sent the machine back. It’s unfortunate that this company takes advantage of people who are not feeling well. Shame on you!

Zynex Medical Fraud & Personal Info

Wow most people have no idea, Zynex has been and is still billing for units (up to 500 mnthly)that have been returned and supplies(up to 240 mnthly) that never get shipped out. They do this to Anthem as well as many other insurance providers. We wonder why health insurance is sky rocketing. What most patients don't realize is that their medical and personal information is at risk everyday there. Zynex doesn't follow HIPPA regulations. Many paient files are left in unsecured locations and computers logged on to the database are often left open and running. Patients don't know that their file containing SS# date of birth and many other privacy protected things can be pulled by any employee and there is no way of knowing who pulled it what they did with it or if it was returned. It may have even left the property. There is no tracking system in place to verify who has a patient file or why. If a patient file is missing for an extended length of time a new one is simply created and there is no follow up with where the file may have gone. Guard yourself, your information, and your health insurance company do not do business with this company.

I received a bill from Zynex today. The bill states that I owe them $811.00. I had no idea who sent the equipment, or monthly supplies to me. Other than a package I had no way of knowing where it even was coming from. So for months (bill states 6/2021) zynex sent me the electrodes and batteries and no correspondence was ever made with their company and myself. I assumed that my insurance company, or mail prescription provider was supplying it and that it was covered in full. I see many complaints of this exact thing happening. I know that there is no paperwork, or any communication of any kind between the company and myself. I do not feel this is my responsibility. There are no legally signed (or non legal for that matter) contracts with this company at anytime. Therefore I will dispute the bill and if it ends up on my credit I will file a fraud there as well. In no way would I have let their bill get to 800. Before stopping their monthly over priced electrodes and batteries. I am filing this complaint here in hopes of their company looking into this and take my name off that account. I also want anyone checking around to be able to see that they need to be aware of this fraud.

We use Golden State Medical, inc. I believe they are only in California but they have always taken excellant care of us. Our representative does all the fittings and is very informative and helpful. Good companys are out there Shafter. If you can't work with Golden State Medical you might want to try Empi. Good luck!

Zynex has a terrible, terrible, terrible reputation in the physical therapy arena. I hear about the under the table deals and kickbacks to often and we refuse to work with them anymore. Our patients were told that they wouldn't ever get a bill and after the patient was out of our care the bills came flooding in! DON'T USE ZYNEX FOR YOUR PATIENTS!

Zynex Medical Fraud

Zynex medical has long been billing insurance companies for products that have been returned. Anthem finally found out and filed a claim and won. Thomas Sanddgard has also been issuing stock options to employees that do not exist. several people have already filed complaints with the SEC. It is only a matter of time before the company folds. Zynex with charge $4, 000 to the insurance companies for a product that a consumer can buy for $10. His line of credit will also be in default. Please file complaints against this company if you have been mis treated. This company is hurting many people.

My primary and secondary health insurance do not cover Zynex services. I keep getting billed monthly for supplies by doxo billing. I get an email message every month from doxo for supplies. There is no amount of how much the is for and doxo does have billing to take out the money owed out of my bank account.

I purchased a Jetstream and am very unhappy with it. Is is poor quality. The shoulder piece does not work properly and they refuse to give me my money back, scam company.

After being told my insurance would pay for this 100% I agreed to it with my PCP. After receiving significant bills from this company (that my insurance would not cover at all). Attempted to contact them for over a month without a response. I did a little research and found out that there have a total of 19 class action lawsuits, they are under investigation by the FDA, Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) and Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ). I would never have gotten involved with this fraudulent company. I would have just ordered the TENS unit from amazon and let my physical therapy team help me with the electrode placements.

Problems with this company dating back to 2009 is what I am reading on this complaints board and they are still doing the same things. I read many reviews with similiar issues. How do they mail you something insurance does not cover and continue to mail electrodes and batteries that cost $33 monthly. I have a $315 bill and I have 4 sealed electrodes that I cannot return because of FDA regulations. I did not authorize them to mail these monthly but they said its the way the Dr wrote the prescription so they continue coming. Terrible business

Same is happening to me! I called them the month after receiving the NexWave to cancel having the electrodes shipped to me (April 2021) and I have still be getting them every month! I just received a bill for all of the denied claims to my insurance company because they are committing insurance fraud! I am a medical practictioner myself and have been doing business w/ DME companies for 18+ years of my career. Never once have I encountered the denials, price gouging and misinformation from the company's employees as I have w/ Zynex with my own DME equipment and equipment that has been ordered for my patients. They need to be shut down! Never using them again to order DME for patients! Would never recommend them to colleagues or other medical providers!

To Heck with Zynex Medical! My pain management doctor prescribed a TENS unit from them for me. I received my New Wave device very quickly. I started using the device immediately. I had been using the device for 5 months. One morning I called Zynex in regards to their promise that I would receive MONTHLY new supplies. (new electrodes and new 9v batteries.) Which I never received. I thought I would call them to see why. Zynex stated my insurance (Anthem Blue Cross) would not and did not cover my unit. Zynex demanded I return the unit immediately. I asked the Zynex representative why they would send this unit without the authorization and clearance and payment in full of the unit from the insurance company. The rep said she was not sure? Some how that resonated with me as underhanded business tactics. I have NEVER heard of ANY medical company sending ANYTHING to ANYBODY without it being paid for in full or some sort of a legal payment contract completed and signed to the companies satisfaction before sending it! That simply is not the way things are done in this country!I have NOT sent this unit back and I am not going to. But what I will do is contact my State Attorney General's Office and the Department of Consumer Affairs. And the BBB . The Federal Trade Commission and ect.

My issue was not related to the machine but with the service. For some reason my insurance stop paying Zynex for the supplies they sent every month (batteries and cloth electrodes). Apparently, it had to do with my annual deductible. The problem surged when they kept sending me the supplies without letting me know the was a problem with the insurance. Months later I received an invoice for $1, 200. If told, I would have called them to stop receiving the supplies. COVID-19 is putting a lot of financial pressure on everyone of us. This is not a surprise you want to get in the middle of a pandemic. Now my insurance doesn’t want to pay and Zynex don’t want to take back all the supplies they sent that I never used. Zynex most improve their service to fix this kind of issue. They will have to send the invoice for colection because I am not intending to pay it. I will proceed to take legal action against Zynex. Terrible Scam!

I have recommended that anyone I know that has had dealings with them stop paying them ANY amounts for anything. File a dispute with the credit agency and move on with your life, I assure you if they start dragging people into court, they are going to find themselves on the wrong side of the law faster then you can say insurance fraud, preying on seniors or unethical business practices.

This company is scummy... i would rather have a disputed charge on my credit then give them a single red cent. Everyone needs to call their State Attorney General's office, the Federal trade commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Department of Consumer affairs, etc. Also call your insurance companies and make sure they are aware of the fraudulent billing that it taking place, not only is that a serious crime, the Insurance company has the money, resources and legal department to put their lights out.

Don't give them ANYTHING but the bad reputation and exposure to the proper legal authorities that they deserve.

I am also being billed for a unit that was returned to Zynex and when i called the reps are having an attitude i sent the equipment back right away now they are telling me i had it for a month,

I happen to be one of the many that this company has defrauded. I knew they were not an in-network provider and had a conversation where I agreed to pay $180 out of my own pocket. Now I owe thousands according to them. They have billed my insurance company for $7442.76 for the exact same thing I paid $200.00 for a few years ago when purchasing it outright from my Chiropractor. What a bunch of thieves. I think I wil sue.
