360 Total Secutity: porno in adverts
I twice reported to complaints department in this company about porno context of adverts, displayed by them. They said: this porno comes from 3rd company and my complaint was sent to this company. Despite this action porno context is still in adverts, displayed in free version of 360 Total Security. To remove adverts, I believe, I have to pay. I am ok with adverts, but it`s disgraceful to impose on people undesired porno context.
Desired outcome: To remove porno context from company`s adverts.

premium version of 360 security anti virus
I elected to purchase the premium version of the 360 security recently because it was offered at a significant discount by the company. It offered a $7plus per year for a 3-year license;making just over $21.i was surprised to receive an invoice for over $39. Even the corresponding offer of a 3-year license for 3 computers was offered for just less than $30 in the offer.
I have contacted the customer service desk explaining the situation and requesting a remedy and nothing was done. I am not even getting responses to my complaints any longer.

This site railroads you... - I inadvertently clicked on this site and they are holding me hostage to purchase the software. I tried everything to delete this from my office computer. They give a bogus website that doesen't exist. Please email me if you know how to contact this company.
Antivirus 360 is a dangerous computer parasite, A possible solution in your case could be downloading automatic removal tool. a very helpful site here at http://scamfound.org/rogue-anti-spyware-software/5596-antivirus-360-beware-its-scam.html on a different PC. Then, you may save the remover to some data medium (like flash memory or CD) and thus install it onto the infected machine. The automatic removal tool is probably the most effective solution in cases of Antivirus 360 infection. One additional suggestion to the manual instructions would be to halt the A360.exe process first using the task manager/processes option. Until you halt the process, Windows will not let you delete the A360.exe executable, the core of the problem. Other than that minor addition, its easy to uninstall first go in safe mode by f 8 then uninstall it did and it is gone. my computer is new again.

I paid for the program Antivirus 360 to protect my computer, this program was downloaded to my computer. It was paid for through my credit card and it was paid for a year of protection.
The program only lasted for 40 days and deleted itself off of my computer.
I have called this phone number that was on my credit card which [protected], to get some support on how to correct this problem or get a refund back. I just get a busy tone, I would like to get this program back to protect my computer or get my money refunded back for the program that became unavailable to me on my computer.
Would please contact me as soon as possible with a response to my problem.

You've been scammed big time. Antivirus 360 is a fake anti-spyware program, which uses all kinds of methods to buy it, mostly it's popups, that say you're infected, as well as fake system scans that return false results in order to scare you. Does any of this sound familliar?
Removing it completely may be difficult (it doesn't automatically delete itself, or at least it doesn't remove everything). For more information check http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-antivirus-360#comment-7762
refund - I was scamed!
Today (3/16/09) while I was using my computer an alert message appeared stating that 27 virus could be affecting my computer. I tried to cancel but my computer was frozen..completely locked up. The only way to get out of the mess was to register with AntiVirus 360 and pay $59.00 on my credit card. But the ad from AntiVirus said that I could request a refund within 30 days but no email address was given or telephone number. I clicked on the icon for AntiVirus and again saw that my money would be refunded if requested within 30 days but no further information was given. So I sent an email to their support team relying my problem and asking for a refund. Also, I have Mcafee security through my Internet provider, (COX) which I pay each month; therefore, I do not need AntiVirus 360. If my computer had not been locked I would have been able to avoid registering with AntiVirus 360 and paying $59. Please advise me of what I should do next to assure that the Antivirus 360 is removed from my computer and my money is refunded.
Thank you for your prompt attention regarding this issue.

I BOUGHT VIRUS PROTECTION GOT BILLED ON CARD IMMEDIATELY AND I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED AND I DON 'T WANT THERE SERVICE. I AM ON FIXED INCOME AND I WAS TAKEN BY THIS COMPANY.AFTER THE FACT I GOT INFO ON MANY COMPLAINTS OF THIS COMPANY FOR BEING NORTIOUS FOR THIS SCAM. PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU, SHARON MONTGOMERY
FYI, Antivirus 360 is a malware in other words its a infection to your computer, it would falsely give you information that your computer is infected, however the antivirus 360 is the only infection, now you have 2 options
1. contact your antivirus company and ask for clarification as the antivirus is installed on the comp and how come it got infected?
2. Forget your $59.00
You have a larger problem on your hands than a hundred and thirty dollars. Antivirus 360 is part of the large WinAntiVirus problem. You need to contact your bank or credit card company immediately and let them know what happened. Its a well known scam and most companies will work with you to reverse the charge. No amount of complaining to the scamers or the BBB or boards like this will phase the folks who made this scam.
The bad news is you need to remove the virus. If your not computer savvy enough to do this yourself you will probably end up spending that hundred dollars on professional virus removal services from a local computer repair shop. Take the advise of the folks running the shop to pick out a real antivirus.

unauthorized dollar amount for virus program
Could you please give me a contact number so I could call to have this charge stopped from my account?
debra.. actually.. antivirus 360 is a malware. its gave u fake scan and infected result. The main purpose maybe want to eat your money. beside that.. antivirus 360 will slow down your pc with annoying error, and stole your sensitive data like creadit card and bank account, password. beware. i just remove it with paid software. thanks god.. work perfectly.
i have heard some people using free method, but i have no lucky with that. maybe i am not a tech savvy and skilled :p
Misleading business practices
After the software took control of my computer and filling me full of inaccurate information pertaining to the supposed viruses my computer contained, I submitted to the pressure I was under and purchased the Antivirus 360 software. Thinking my computer would suffer irrreversible damage due to all of the viruses that this software said that I had, and because I could not get rid of the pop up windows that took control of my computer I had no choice but to pay the one time fee of $60.00. So I thought... Within one month my debit card was charged the initial $60.00, then a couple weeks later two charges appeared on the same day for $19.99. So now I am up to $99.98 and know of no way to contact the company to resolve this problem. Can they not be held liable for false advertising and/or computer kidnapping? When the pop up alerts started to appear I could no longer use my computer until I paid for the software. I was held captive!
Seriously, the software is no good and I am being swindled out of money every month.
What can I do?

Fraud/Scam
I too had been scammed on Feb. 10th. While surfing the web this Anti Virus thing poped up on my screen telling me that I had contacted a Virus. I tried to just delete the pop up but it kept coming back. I could not get rid of it so I decided to just buy the protection. I received a confirmation e-mail where there were key code numbers which supposedly I needed to apply before I could start using the download.
However when I opened up the file it just started to do a virus scan (which was bogus) because I never entered the key code numbers they gave me from the e-mail message. Immediately I knew something was up so I went to the complaints board and sure enough Antivirus 360 had already had some complaints. I then called my credit card company to report a fraudulent website and cancelled my card as well as put the amount of the charges in dispute. I then went back to my e-mails and pulled every e-mail contact off the confirmation page and sent threatening e-mails to them and told them about my credit card phone call as well as them being on the complaints board and I demanded a credit to my card telling them it was in their best interest to immediately credit my account for selling me fraudulent antivirus protection. Shortly afterwards I received (2) e-mails one of which was some support group which you would never get a refund from and the other was a BINGO. The e-mail stated that I will receive full credit within 2-weeks. I did receive the credit within a couple days. For those of you trying to get a refund you can try this e-mail as I did. Send an e-mail to ([protected]@yahoo.com.) Hopefully that will work as this was the e-mail address I wrote to that got the response from ([protected]@[protected]@gmail.com). Of course you can try the second e-mail as well but you might not want to scare off your refund so I would try the first one and see if they write back and if you don't get a response then try the second e-maill address.
I don't recall ever seeing a phone number to call so looks like all we have to go on is the e-mail addresses.
Hopefully you all have your confirmation e-mail with your confirmation numbers as you may need them to get your refund so they can match up the amounts to credit you properly.
Good Luck and I hope you all can get your money back as I did.

i have been trying to contact anyone at this number, [protected], to cancel my subscription to Antivirus 360, and cannot get ahold of anyone. i paid $79.95 for this subscription and i can't do anything with it. i purchased it because it was always on my screen. it hasn't been helpful. what can i do to get a refund?
What a ripoff av360 has pulled. Where or who do I call to get my money back.
This is very helpful information. I am glad you got your refund. I just hope that I will now get a refund. Thank you for sharing.
To somecallemwaffles and Jim, you can go to this web site and report this mess, I have...
http://www.ic3.gov/contact/default.aspx good luck!
A google search will help you get rid of it.
AntiVirus 360 is a virus. You need to get it out of your computer.
Antivirus 360 is a fake program and part of the Win Antivirus line of viruses. Your eighty dollars went outside the US to scamers who have already moved it from bank to bank. You need to contact your credit card company or bank and work with them to see what can be done about reversing the charges. No amount of calling the fake 1-800 number or complaints to boards like this will get your money back.
You will need to remove the virus yourself or get the help of a professional computer repair shop with good references to rid yourself of the problem. Sorry to say it will probably cost you more than the eighty dollars to have your computer cleaner up if your not tech savvy enough to remove a virus yourself.
SCAM

Is this still on internet? Where do I get Kaspersky or NOD32? I don't want to buy on internet. Thanks
Hi they got me aswell, and im in Switzerland! i saw on the Google that it is someone in Russia that is sending these Antivirus 360!These Russians are rich now they must have got Millions from this Scam!
i fell for it to it was all over my screen and i paid in there system thinking it was comming from my computer!
that was 1.5 months ago and then this week it came up again this antivirus360 that i had to pay again, i stupidly again try to pay but this time the site was not working i presume the Authouritis blocked them!
i realised when i went into google there were all these sights on how to remove the Antivirus 360, which i was shocked because i was trying to find there website to pay again! it just came up Bad news, i managed to remove it from my computer myself, but there were these sights like spydoctor that said it will be impossible to remove and i would have to pay money for the removal i nearly got sucked in to that, ### its dangerous out there!
Same thing here. It just popped up and wouldn't go away until I bought it. Now it won't even let me access my bank, cc companies or just about anything through IE, I have to use Fire Fox, which is not a big deal, just inconvenient since everything is on Explorer. I used a credit card so I can get the payment stopped, but how do I get it to uninstall if I can't even find it in my programs.
I purchased Anti-virus 360 for $49.99 and was billed$79.90.Then my computer was over run by XP police adware. Now I don't know where to turn.
I have experienced the very same thing. Pd 80.00 dollars and the antivirus 360 just disappeared. What a rip off I still do not have an anti virus and my money is gone.I was able to locate the so called file in my documents but when i clicked on the file it disappeared again I was able to locate the av360 file thru a search. I do have another application on my computer that repairs problems I am not sure but I do believe it is the only reason my computer is still working today.
Completely agree with poster above. Get some real antivirus... And contact your bank and ask for Credit card change, as the scammers know your CC number for now.
The good news is that some of the makers are already sued.
First of all, you didn't have a good anti-virus program on your computer to begin with. If you had, none of this would have happened to you. Anti-Virus 360 is malware, not any sort of a anti-virus program at all. What you paid for was to have this crap removed from your system. You're completely right when you say that they scammed you, but not in the sense you're refering to. All they want is your money, and in exchange, they will remove their program from your machine. Do yourself a favor and invest in some real protection, get Kaspersky or NOD32, they are two of the best. Secondly, don't pay for anything on the Internet with your debit card/checking account. If something like this were to happen if you had payed with a credit card, you could dispute it with them and have them refund your money. Even PayPal is bad, because even if they find if your favor, they only refund your money if the other person had money in their PayPal account and the scammers are quick to have it removed...so just a credit card in the future and you're a lot better off. Oh, and if something tells you to buy this program because you have a virus, it is the virus!
Anti-Virus 360 is actually malware. I don't know if it was installed on your computer and falsely stated you had viruses and told you that you needed to buy the product to remove them or if you downloaded it intentionally...
Antivirus 360 is a brand new fake spyware remover, program with evil intent. Parasite, as many of its kind, tries to push user into purchasing of a licensed version with falsified threats. The name Antivirus 360 sounds very similar to respected security tool Norton 360 by Symantec. Application makes its own way into user’s computer via trojan Zlob or by manual download. After installation, parasite, flood user with numerous pop-ups with imaginary virus infections and system risks. After these notifications Antivirus360 advertises as an effective program that is able to fix all these problems, and of course it is paid one. Program is very dangerous, it mark windows files as an infections or serious threats. The main purpose of it is to show pop-ups and suck money. About fixing of infections you can forget it wasn’t created for that. As a parasite, Antivirus360 can do many serious problems for users, slowdown computer, limit connection of internet, increase loses of personal data and even brake your machine. I recommend you scan your system with reputable spyware remover programs to avoid problems. I'd suggest Trend Micro Antivirus or Spysweeper antispyware.
fraud
I have been defrauded by antivirus 360. The company injected a fake trojan worm into my computer. I was receiving messages from this company that had the Microsoft Logo, and they held themselves out to be software affiliated with Microsoft. It stated that Microsoft recommended that I update the system with Antivirus 360, and even used Microsoft's logo! I kept trying to bypass their messages, and I finally bought the license for $59.95 because that was the only way I felt I could get the virus off of my computer! Needless to say, I was scammed. I need to get the $59.95 reversed off of my debit card. I am writing the Attorney general of my State to file a complaint. We need to get the makers of this Antivirus to quit distributing...for ever.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The makers of Antivirus 360 are already being sued. At least some of them!
That are good news. Bad news are that there are still some of them remaining unknown.

Since Antivirus 360 is a scam, you won't get a refund from creators of that program. I recommend calling your bank and explaining the situation. They should be ready for phishing and online frauds.
