delivery
5/10/2017 I went into the ABC Warehouse location on S. Pennsylvania in Lansing Michigan. The manager (Greg) waited on me and was very helpful and I purchased a mattress and box spring set. I asked him if they would haul away the old mattress and he said that it was included in the $59.95 delivery charge. The truck got here this morning 5/13/2017 and I had already gotten the old mattress and box springs out to the front yard for them. I had them leave the new mattress and box springs in my living room so that I would set it up myself. They left the new and then refused to take away the old as they said some BS about not contaminating the rest of the products on the truck. There is nothing wrong with the old mattress other than one stain in one corner where one of my cats coughed up a hairball and the liquid went through the sheet. The box springs are older and the only thing wrong on them is that I used to smoke and they have turned yellowish on the sides. How exactly would they contaminate anything and why didn't the drivers just put both of them into the large plastic bag that had both the new ones in it? If I have to take care of the old ones myself, I am going to file a complaint with every government agency that I can and either way I will not be buying anything from ABC again.
Your drivers are not what you want to call professional looking either.
poor customer service
I just called to ask a question about the number of employees that ABC Warehouse has in Michigan for research on a work-related project and spoke with Bernadett Peppel and she was incredibly rude to me on the phone. She completely disregarded me and the question I was asking, and did not give me a chance to explain what my question and research was for.
If she is the head of human resources and doesn't know how to interact with other humans, she should not be in charge. I could call her all the nasty names I want but I am professional and respect her as a HUMAN.
employee
I have shopped at the store in Lima Ohio for many years I have never been so upset till recently. I went into the store and one employee named Terrance was the most useless person I have ever had wait on me. He acted like he was about half stupid didn't know how to explain about the washer I was looking at and eventually I walked away in disgust. While I was looking for another product I heard him talking to another employee about my appearance and calling me very nasty names. I was trying to continue with my shopping when I turned around and he was behind me making fun of the way I walked. I left the store very upset. If something isn't done with this employee I will be taking to my attorney. I feel this is not the job for him if he doesn't know how to treat a customer. I will be coming into the store to check if he's still there before proceeding with this matter.
tv
I bought a TV 5 days ago and wanted to return and the manager Isaac Brown (from Farmington ABC location ) will not refund the money plus wanted to charge me a restocking fee. Very unhappy with services of ABC WAREHOUSE. Will never buy anything from them. I don't know how they stay in business .

I was absolutely appalled by the horrid service my family and I received from your Dearborn store. For Christmas, my family bought a 42 inch flat screen TV and a pair of Sony Headphones for my 80 year old father. We bought these on December 9 and were never told of any 10 day return policy. The headphones do not work and we have had 3 different electronics experts out to the home to try and get the headphones to work (they do not work). We went back to the Dearborn store on Sunday 12/27 with the receipt and all paperwork, except the box (my father threw this away). I have never had such poor customer service in my life! We asked for a pair of headphones that work (after spending more than $500 in electronics) - Kamren Hamed proceeded to tell me that we only had 10 days to return anything, regardless of whether it was a Xmas present or not. Then he told us we must have the packaging, then Tony, the Manager told us we just need the receipt (which we had). When he realized I had the receipt along with all the other paperwork and plastics, he changed his tune and said we must have the packaging also ("Sony is very particular about only taking returns with the box") - bottom line, ABC Warehouse has used every excuse in the book to not solve our problem and provide a pair of headphones that actually work for an 80 year old man. I, and our extended family, will NEVER, EVER shop in ABC again - we never would have had this issue with Best Buy, this poor level of customer service is absolutely unprecedented. My next email will be to Sony directly (to find out if this is their stance on customer service as well - I highly doubt it!), then to the Better Business Bureau and any other consumer reporting agency that I can find to alert other consumers of the deplorable service of ABC and the unwillingness to stand behind the products you sell. Enough is enough - if I can keep others from making the mistake of shopping at ABC, I will feel like some good came out of this poorly handled event. Sincerely, Mike C
no returns or exchanges on defective appliances
I purchased a dishwasher from ABC Warehouse and paid for delivery and installation. It was delivered and installed on Tuesday August 25th. Two days later, I loaded the dishwasher and attempted to start the appliance but it would not start, only blink. I contacted GE (General Electric) initially and was told to restart the machine to reset the setting...

I made a large purchase from ABC Warehouse, after being warned not to go there. (Should have listened) One of the purchases was a 58" TV and the deliver person just dropped off the TV and did not take it out of the box. Ok, I thought that was wrong when I paid extra for delivery and when they got there wanted to charge me more to sit the TV on the stand, NO! Second, I paid extra for a TV stand to be put together but on delivery day the stand was dropped off already put together, how do I know they put it together. There was also a short, really heavy girl salesperson with long black hair who thought she was attractive but she is too fat and laughs alot which is really annoying!
First and foremost I find a few things wrong with your complaint. I work at ABC and perhaps you are mistaken or just unaware, but ABC has not even carried a 58" TV for a number of years. I am courious also as to how much you paid for "delivery" of your TV. Customers are given a number of options e.g. $19.99 for basic delivery, which is simply droping off the boxed unit, or $39.99 for delivery and placement which includes installing the legs and putting tv on stand. As to your implication as to "how do I know they assembled the stand, because they dropped it off already assembled." Why dont you go to the store and ask to see the stand in its original packaging? If you cant comprehend that some of these stands take 4 hours to build and are done on an individual basis at our main distribution site, then delivered to you. Did you expect the driver to assemble it in front of you? you probably would be complaining about how it took 4 hours for them to deliver and assemble the stand at your house if that were the case. Last and not least you are a terrible excuse for a human being, hiding behind a computer to insult a saleswoman, whom had nothing to do with your delivery driver wanting to charge more to place the tv on the stand because you didn't pay for it to begin with.
the rep provided damaged tv and still haven't changed it
I bought TV from the store www.abcwarehouse.com. The seller told me that they were certificated and provided warranty, but it turned out that my TV was completely damaged and it even didn’t switch on. I called to the company and explained the situation. The rep started to mumble and couldn’t provide precise answer to what I needed to do next. I still haven’t changed it or got refund, ‘coz the company didn’t reply to my emails now. Please leave comments about this company, because people should be aware when they buy from such dishonest seller.
sales person scam
I went in today 2/22/13 to purchase a tv. Told the salesperson what I was looking for. 1080 p smart tv 42 in or bigger. He showed me several and finaly talked me into a samsung pdp 1080 p smart tv 3d 51 in tv. The list price said 849 on the sales floor so I asked if there was anything he could do. He came back and told me it wad my lucky day he could do tv and he would throw in a dvd blu ray player for 798. I was excitdd andbought the tv . I went home and before I opened it I wanted to read the reviews. When I went on abc warehouse website you had the same tv including the model number for 698. Why would you scam me and not tell me hey its on sale for 698. Why do you have to lie and make it sound like you gave me a great deal. I will never shop there again and a full return will be done. You are the typical low class sales person that everyone hates.

bad customer service and no support
In Nov. of 2007 I purchased a 58" television for 1948.00. It was for my sick mother and her convalescent brother. In August of 2008, not even a year later, the TV goes out. For an entire month we waited for a sevice technition to come out and fix it, per the warranty. We had already been in contact with the store salesman prior to this. After waiting so long we decided to take the Tv into the store, and maybe exchange or get a refund. The Manager on duty was Robert Risse.Robert refused to exchange or refund any money. in fact he even called the police on me because I informed some customers of ABC Warehuoses "No return, No Refund policy. Now my mother has to sit in her cramped bedroom, as she recovers from cancer, to watch TV. Just so everyone knows this store is located on 10 mile and Southfield Rd. In Michgan. Call Robrt and ask about their Policy, and why this old lady, and crippled brother cannot get good customer service
rude obnoxious store manager
I purchased a TV got it home and the stand wouldn't connect to set. Returned it same evening and it was exchanged no hassles. After a couple of days the volume started to mute in and out. I took the set back to ask for another exchange or was willing to upgrade. As soon as we walked into the store the manager had a attitude. He orders and I do mean ordered a salesman to plug it in which he did and the set didn't do it. The manager comes over and states in a very loud voice pointing his finger at my wife "This is the way it's going to be I'm not going to refund your money but I will ALLOW you to upgrade or just take this set home." I hadn't ask for my money but at this point that was exactly what I wanted and he refused. Stated that if he allowed me to exchange this set I'd be back next week complaining about speaker size. My wife asked him what was their return policy he says it's solely up to him because Michigan doesn't have a customer return law. Finally he has employee plug the set in else where and what do you know no sound. Then he tells the guy to get another set take it out of the box and make sure nothing is wrong. I got another TV that seems to work OK. I've made many purchases at that store and never returned anything. I don't believe I've ever been treated like that in a store where I do busy. But I do know I'll never do business with ABC warehouse again and hope to discourage anyone I know from shopping there.
After filling out the outline complaint form. I received a phone call from the store regional manager the following morning. Was given an apology and told I could return the TV for my money back. So use the on-line complaint form they do respond.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
My question is why would the store manager treat you like that if he knew a complaint would get you a return? Sounds like ABC has a "squeaky wheel gets the grease " policy. I called a Ohio store and they said they have no return policy also. Sketchy company with sketchy policy. Cant believe they have been around as long as they have. As a matter of fact when I called and asked about the return policy the manager got hostile towards me a said I needed to call the manufacturer. WTF ?
sales items not in store
I go to the ABC Warehouse, and find a kitchen appliance that is an "In Store Only" item. This means that the only place I can buy it is in the store only. However, I call the store and they don't have any inventory. What the heck? Tell Gordie that his prices are great, but his inventory system sucks. We went to Sears and found a good device "in store" and "in stock". Sightly higher price, but better than two trips into the store...one to order, and one to pick up.
buyers beware!!!
Please People, , Do not buy anything from ABC Warehouse, they too screwed me over on a TV. I am on my 3rd replacement of a Samsung. I paid $3450 for my original TV and they have replaced it with a $750 piece of crap. Not only that but they told me in both Muskegon and Grand Rapids (MI) that my replacement would be dollar for dollar. I have also paid for 10yrs of warranties, come to find out, when the TV is replaced you lose the warranty, so now I am out of 3yrs of a warranty that I paid for. Over all, the cost for me to have an ABC Warehouse TV in my home is $629 a year. Never again will I do business with this company they are all liars and thieves. They are out to make a sale because they work for commission. Beware it's a scam!
bait and switch
ABC Warehouse is obviously using the old bait and switch routine to get you into the store and then try to get you to buy a higher priced item. Each week they put out a flyer in my local newspaper in Sandusky Ohio. One particular item is usually the main attraction on the front page of the flyer. This week it was a 60" Mitsuibishi Home theater Tv for $894. When I arrived at the store as soon as the doors opened at 9AM. The salesman met me at the door and told me they don't have that model but he tried to get me to buy a 65" Mitsubishi for over $2300. Every week they do this bait and switch with a new main item advertised but never in stock when you arrive on the first day of the ad.
they do not keep their promises
We met with Calvin M at the ABC store at Mishawaka, IN yesterday to buy a dishwasher. Calvin said that he would match a lower price and offered to check other stores online and get the best price for us. After checking other store websites, he came up with a price of $ 239. Later on, we found out that Best Buy was selling the same model for $ 224. It was even on their website, so obviously Calvin was lying about the lowest price. So we went back and asked him if he would match it like he promised. Most stores will offer 10% less if customers find a lower price elsewhere. However, Calvin refused to go any lower than $224. Why would I want to buy from there, if another store is offering me the same price? Also, this is against whatever you advertise as your store motto "to keep your promises" and blah...blah. I just wanted you to know how I felt about this whole deal. I will definitely not recommend this store to anyone else.
Our company does a lot of business with ABC Warehouse in Mishawaka and we deal almost exclusively with Calvin. He is very honest and helpful, as well as competitively pricing all of their appliances to meet his customer's needs. Per the consumer's complaint above, Calvin obviously matched Best Buy's price, and I cannot fathom why the consumer thinks he or she is entitled to an additional 10 percent discount because the store missed a competitor's price. I would highly recommend stopping in at ABC Warehouse and asking for Calvin the next time you want to get the best pricing on appliances in Mishawaka.
sexual harrasment
My husband and I went to ABC warehouse on Monroe st. in Sylvania, Ohio 43560. We were looking for a 50" LCD t.v.. The salesman slash manager that helped us was so disrepectful. I felt very uncomfortable how he was talking to me. My husband walked away to look at another t.v. and the salesman told me that I could get a better deal if I would have came in alone. What is that suppose to mean? My husband wandered off again and the salesman/manager asked for my personal cell phone number so we can disscuss a better deal over lunch. Is this how ABC warehouse discounts? I am doing everything in my power to keep my husband from going up there to "TALK" to Matt the salesman/manager. I don't want my husband to go to jail for doing something stupid cause ABC warehouse employees are crude. My husband has already contacted a few lawyers since i wouldnt let him handle it his way. So to all the husbands out there: If you go to this ABC warehouse and your salesman/manager is Matt cech, Don't leave your wifes side!
LOL, in your dreams. Either that or your husband paid the guy to try get you off his back for a few hours so he could make out with his baby mamma
un-professional
Yesterday while shopping at the Lansing Store, I heard the manager Greg, verbally yelling the "f" word at employees. This is a manager that would never work in my company. How unprofessional! I felt sorry for the employees, especially for one young man that seemed to be getting the full force of the swear words. At one point we thought that Greg was going to strike out. If your managers are this unprofessional, there is no way your treatment of customers is going to be any better. I would be afraid to have a problem with a purchase, I am sure that if Greg handled that problem I would be subject to his unprofessional behavior and I would not have the same restraint as that young man.
SALESMAN LARRY REID SALES TELEVISION THAT ARENT IN STOCKM PAID FULL AMOUNT FOR A TELEVISOIN I WAS TOLD WOULD ONLY TAKE A FEW DAYS TO BE DEVLIVERED TO THE STORE CALLED BACK DAYS LATER AFTER NOT HEARING FROM THE STORE I WAS TOLD MY TELEVISION WOULD TAKE A MONTH OR MORE FOR DELIVERY...
They sucks. Dont buy TVs from them. I brought a 40"TV and went on 3rd day for an upgrade to 46" TV. they are charging me 50% restocking fee. After a big fight, they came down to 30% restocking fee. I wont go there again.
We bought a TV on 24th and went for an upgrade version 3 days back. they chrged us 50% restocking fee. The Management is terrible and they treated me like a complete nothing. I will never shop there again or recommend them to ANYONE.

It is amazing how all of the stores are run the same way using the "F" word at employees! But I have also heard a GM yell to customers - can you believe it? He told this customer to get the "_ell" out of HIS store. He is very unprofessional. They must pick these workers from the same jail for something. I have been to many, many ABC stores and there is the same atmosphere to unprofessionalism in every single store. I am going to write and publish about this chain and how they are hurting the public very badly and are raking in the dough while robbing the public with promises that are not kept, harassment, ex-convicts working in the store but these ex-convicts are not rehabilitated. They are still ex-convicts and are losers and are doing a great disservice to the public. COME ON EVERYONE - WE HAVE TO STOP SHOPPING THERE - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PUBLIC - THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!
Customer must be mistaken
ABC Warehouse doesn't have a restocking fee Best Buy does
saleman/ manager
I puchased a Home Theater System this month from the Warren store, 10 mile & Van [censored]. As I opened the box I relized the system had been opened, there was batteries in the remote and all the plastic was off. So i took it back to the store as the young salesman had promised me it was not a used system and they had no more in the store. So we took it home the next day my husband spent 3 hours running wires and setting it up to find a DVD in the system. So i called and talked to the manager and was told to keep the one we had and he would order us a new one and it would be in by Wensday. Wensday it was not there and was told we would have to wait until Friday or we could drive to another store a pick it up.I feel this was so rude, I also work in retail and i know not all customers are right but if i knew by Wensday that the merchandise was not there, my company would have had someone within the store to go pick it up and have it in the store for the customer. Iwill not shop the Warren store again, Best Buy will get my money.

You would be better off with Paul's TV.
employees and products are faulty
I received the worst customer service from the sales man at ABC warehouse. I went in to purchase a TV for my mother and she randomly mentioned that I knew a little about the latest flat screens. This information was greeted with sarcasm and thrown back in my face by several other salesmen. At no point in time was I rude to them. Since when is being informed a crime. My mother really wanted the TV that we picked so I purchased it anyway. I returned to her house and helped her set it up, it doesn't work. I am disgusted.
Next time come to Paul's TV. No hassle customer service with a very friendly environment. We would rather educate you on the latest technology even if you don't buy than see you make a mis-informed decision.
livonia store incident
I visited the store in Livonia on [protected] to purchase a television, I asked the salesman did the store take checks he said it depended on the check sequence #. I decided on a television and proceded too write a check for my purchase, the salesman tells me that they can take my check, but they couldn't release the television too me until the check cleared! He never made any attempt too call telecheck or his manager, I've NEVER heard of a business doing such thing. I am a ABC warehouse shopper and this incident is unacceptable.
