unauthorized credit card charges
I ordered a free sample, I paid for shipping only. Two weeks after they took 136.00 off my credit card which I did not authorize. When I called to get reimbursed they told me that since I had opened the bottle, I couldn't receive a full refund and they offered to refund only 50 US dollars Ridiculous, how can you try a product if you don't open it and it was suppose to be a free sample...I asked to talk to a supervisor but was told supervisors don't take calls... I wonder why... SCAM, SCAM, SCAM
cosmetics subscription fraud
I was stupid enough to click on the free sample cream from costco on facebook. It said that I will just pay the postage and I gave them my credit card number for it. The product arrived shortly after. I didn't use it because it looked fake. Then I noticed my credit card being charged over $130 cad.
I called the credit card company and they gave me a number to call to cancel the subscription [protected]). I asked to cancel and they cancelled the subscription right away but said that I would not get my money back as my trial period had ended on jan 9/2017. I ordered the product on dec 25/2016 and I can't remember when I got the product but of course it said nothing about the subscription or the trial period. My credit card was charged on jan 9 and the posted date was jan 10. I would have had no knowledge to cancel during the trial period anyway! I'm going to alert facebook and costco about this and hope this comment prevents others from making the same mistake and making this fraud company fat!
anti aging cream for face & anti aging eye cream
I ordered this free trial jan 20, 2017 and paid for shipping only as per the web-site. I received the product before the jan 23, 2017. Delivery date listed. I tried the eye cream and there was a white film left behind. I tried the anti aging cream that I did not order and my face burned. I had hives for 3 days after. I put the free trial product in the trash knowing I would never order it again. On feb 6, 2017. My visa was charged $99.00 us by this company. I phone this number below as this name look young instant was on the visa charge not abella mayfair. [protected] [protected]@lookyounginstant.com. I got a story that I know was not true as i'm very aware of scams. They would not refund me the $99.00 us however they agreed to $50.00 us credit to my visa for the free sample size product I received. I cancelled any more shipments as I did not agree to anything. I received an e-mail to confirm the cancellation of both products. However this person did state I now owe for the first free trials $99.00 & $89.00 us. I sent back in the e-mail the information the phone rep said as I was to receive a $50.00 us credit and that was the best they could due. I received this e-mail back with a confirmation that I would receive the $50.00 us credit and there would be no more shipments or charges. I wanted a full refund for the free trial as stated on their web site jan 20, 2017. I will never order any products on line again unless I know the site. Lesson learned we still have lots of scammers on line. I will file a complaint with the bbb. I should have looked at the complaints for this company before I ordered, however arlene dickinson from the dragons’ den name was posted as part owner and I trusted this information.
The exact same thing happened to me! When I phoned this company and asked why would I want to keep something that burned my eyes and my face all they said was "we told you we would send 1/2 your money back". I'm not really sure what part of 'I hate your product and want to send it back' they don't understand!
wrinkle and night creams
I ordered the wrinkle and night cream from the above company...Used the wrinkle cream twice, only to find out that it burnt my face! It looked like I had stood in front of a welder! The night cream broke out my face after only 2 uses...I emailed the company, nothing..Then, I log into my bank account only to find out they took $134.25 out today, and no product! This company is corrupt and judging by the other comments, I am not the only person that has been robbed of funds..I have put a stop payment through my bank so that they cannot withdraw any more funds...This company needs to be stopped!
free samples
I had seen a free trial offer to try their product. I paid the shipping like they asked. I waited 2 weeks checking the mail and waiting for the free samples and nothing came. Its now been over 2 months and still nothing so I told them to cancel it. I checked my credit card only to find out they charged me for some other products that did not show up either. They charged me around 150.00 for other things I never got either. I sent them a email and told them what happened and they did not reply back. I am only asking them to put back the money they took off my credit card. I cant afford this, I only wanted the free sample. I was hopping you could fix this mess. I wish you luck because they wont email me back. Thank-you terry 1 sad guy.
mad very mad
offer free samples and pay shipping only... scam
Ordered the free samples and it was stated pay shipping only. Now I find my visa is charged 188.00 I have returned the product and want my refund. They just keep emailing me over and over again, bit no refund yet. I am contacting my credit card company to have this refunded, plus I am contacting the canadian fraud bureau and bbb. Advise all to do this.
Hello, i had the same experience. Just got my MC statement and saw 135$ charge + the initial 5.38 shipping. I called them, the lady was just telling me to calm down. She said i can get 1/2 reimbursed now and 1/2 when i ship the sample back with a tracking number. I really hope it works. It is a total scam. why do we need to return the sample when it was a sample? They said to me that was the product as well. I called MC to aks them to cancel future charges. She said she can only write that i cancelled my subscription today and if there is future charges they can dispute them. I am really pissed to have to pay 12$ now for shipping but i hope to get 135$ back. Did anyone received their money back?
U wont get any money back. these are smart scammers who covered all the bases, I had virtually the same experience as you, I also responded to a "Free sample product pitch" that they now say was a "free trial" only,
We now know it is a scam, they said they would credit me $50 but only if I withdrew my credit card dispute in which case they would still get me for at least $135. Not acceptable. Like saying u can accept our "discounted scam" if u shut up and pay us. I wou;d send back the product if I thought it would do any good but that would be a waste of time... just another move in there scam game, i'M GOING TO CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER, and get another card with a new number, even though I cancelled my " subscription" you cant trust them not to bill u further, lIVE AND LEARN
Offer free samples and pay shipping only- I have the same problem with the company. Ordered sample and pay shipping only. I was waiting 21 days to receive the sample. The day I received the sample I sent a request to cancel the future orders. I got confirmation of cancellation, but when I got my CC statement at the end of the month, I noticed I got charged $257!, 14 days after my order. So I haven't got my product yet, and I already got charged. Now they are telling me that the sample is the product and I have to return the product before I can get my money back. Very DISSAPOINTED wit customer service- Alan. Very hard to understand, the phone line isn't clear and not very pleasant dealing. Also, I tried the product and it's not working at all, and I don't have too many wrinkles to get rid of. Total Scam!
skin care
I order a free trial over the phone and I got into bring subscribed to a membership. I said I didn't want that but what I say doesn't matter and with the long distance phone call I listened to a very long salesman fast talk the sale and that's his job but it was a little much and I was stuck with the membership and cancelled after the second order and I paid for three and I want my money back or the order. I do not have the cancellation number I had to call the phone number back three times to get the cancellation numbers and P/F 1014104

It is not a complaint but more a inquiry about my membership I use this product on my forehead more then less of anything and its time the renew my 3 jar supply for medical reasons and although I haven't a phone to call there is no order form on the internet. I really depend on this product too and like Polysporen occcasionaly Vaseline but I need this product.
donohue. katriina@gmail.com [protected]
I want to know why you want a membership to order this product. This first order was a trial I placed was like talking to a telemarketer and well done sure but I thought I would be reordering when I need it but no you mailed out a new shipment when I wasn't ready for more because you think everyone uses this product the same which is wrong. I have had to get a new credit card so the card wont be on file and my telephone is not working. My friend will be placing the order on my behalf of a one time order of 6 jars ok this is how I do it and its unfortunate you do not have a order form on the internet because I do not like paying another $30 for the phone call with a business

unauthorized credit card charges
I’ve signed for a free trial products and I have provided my RBC credit card details for paying the shipment. The transaction was failed because my credit card limit was reached at that point of time. I’ve then received two small samples of your products which is I have never ordered. I also found out that you guys have charged to my credit card two transactions for amounts of USD 79.95 and 64.0 respectively on 14th Jan. 2017
I considered this is a scam and request that you guys have to refund back the above amounts to my account as soon as possible
Please forward this email to relevant personnel and respond to me immediately.
Thanks
abella mayfair free trial offer
To whom it may concern.
I was watching tv on the early morning hours of december 28th, 2016 when an ad for abella mayfair came on. I decided to call and take advantage of the “free trial offer” when I called no one answered the phone so I just hung up. Later that same day I received a call (Even though I never actually left any message) the man on the phone said he could see that I had called their number and wanted to know if I wanted to receive the "free trial offer for abella mayfair". I said yes. I gave my credit card to put thru the shipping and handling costs of $5.95 only.
When I received my box the only thing in it was the 0.5oz of the 90 second rapid wrinkle control and 1oz of maximum moisture 24 hour day & night cream and a piece of paper with a description of what each product does and how to use it. There was no paperwork on anything that outlined the rules for returning the product. I did remember from the add that you would have to cancel the order in 15 days if you didn't want to be automatically billed for the product moving forward. I tried the 90 second rapid wrinkle control immediately. But found that it made my skin feel really tight and dry and left a white residue around anywhere that I put it. I tried it a second time and had the same results. I decided to call and cancel my order the only number that was available was for ordering more product. I called that number [protected]. No one answered the phones so I left a detailed message stating my name and phone number and that I wanted to cancel my order.
I didn't receive any e-mails to say that my order had been cancelled so I called again. I was told that the “free trial” items had already been billed to my credit card, the charges were separate one was for $135.14 to a company called “lookyounginstant.com” and the other was for $121.42 to “foreverbeautifulface.com”. This is a total of $256.56 for a 0.5 oz bottle and a 1 oz cream.
When I wanted to order and they didn't answer the phone yet they managed to call me back without so much as a phone number or a voice mail left on their system. But when you want to contact them to cancel or complain, they are impossible to get ahold of.
They use dr. Oz and christy brinkley's names to help sell this product. If they are really backing these products they should be disgusted with themselves for defrauding trusting consumers. If not they should be going after companies like this to make sure their names are not associated with such scams.
I will never order anything off the tv again.
abella face cream
Hello, I've started using this product and although so far have no complaints I would like to strongly complain about your packaging. Your product is touted as good for skin however it is really really bad for the environment. It comes in a printed heavily ink coated box, then there is the plastic wrap around the lid of the bottle, which is not recyclable and then there is yet another non-recyclable plastic lid.
i think that if you're stating that your products are good for skin they should also be good for the environment. The very least you could do is use vegetable inks and recyclable plastics.

being billed on credit card for products not ordered
I too am now a victim of the Abella Mayfair scam. I ordered 2 samples on line under the premise that I pay the shipping costs only. I received these small samples a week ago. There was nothing on line or in the box that indicated that I would be billed and automatically shipped, unwanted product. I now have a credit card bill for over $250.00 and to date, have received no further unwanted product in the mail. I have made several attempts to contact this companies support line and they do not return my calls. I have also sent e-mails which have gone unanswered. In my opinion this is a scam and should be dealt with by the RCMP. It's the first time I've ever ordered anything on line and it will be the last!
90 second rapid wrinkle repair / maximum moisturizer
Credit card charged on January 1, 2017. Amount $204.66
Invoice/Receipt: Not received with product only found out charge amount when showed on credit card statement.
Additional charge on January 15, 2017. Amount $121. 61
Worst company ever. Do not stand by their product. My credit card was charged without authorization. I received additional products I did not order. I only ordered a sample of both the rapid wrinkle repair and moisturizer. Payment was only for shipping $5.39 and $6.75. In addition to, I received a 5 month supply that they will not refund (I did not order the product).
I spoke with customer service, Ina, on January 22, 2017 not helpful at all. I asked to speak with a manager. I was told " they do not take calls" They are only willing to refund the most recent charge which I did NOT authorize of 121.66 I have an RMA number for that (Did not receive the product as of today) #911250 $89.95 USD. I would like to be refunded the Canadian Currency of 121.66. Which is what my credit card was charged. Therefore that is what I should be refunded.
This product is not what is stated on the website. It is a cheep cover up that causes dryness and breakouts. Does not mask wrinkles or moisturize skin. I had to look up the phone number. I received no information in the original box with items.
"We have discontinued sales to new customers while we enhance our formula and enforce compliance among resellers and affiliates. " - directly from website
"You're always backed by our 30 day satisfaction guarantee but we would like to go above and beyond by extending this to a 45 day satisfaction guarantee to try our product and see results." - directly from the website.
I would like a full refund in Canadian Dollars for the original charge of products I did not order. $204.66. I an happy to return the unopened, un used items once I have confirmation of refund.
Thank you
I like many many many others fell into their trap. I am a single mom and thought I would treat myself with the trial offer and the same thing happened they got my credit cared number for the shipping costs and then I see a charge for them both, and then I see 2 more charges the following month before I even got any of the product, they completely stand by their scripted answers as to why they cannot refund, it's despicable what they are doing, now I have a high credit card bill, no product as I sent it all back according to the directions of one their employees. They are not human, everyone is under different circumstances, they just simply do not care, they got what they wanted, but, in the mean time I am stuck with credit care debt over and above what I usually have, so the question is now, do I pay off my credit card or put food in my children's mouths
90 second wrinkle control
I ordered this as a free trial and only to pay shipping costs of 4.95
No where was there anything that indicated any agreement for continued shipment of the product or if I was not satisfied I was expected to return this tiny tube of product. Not only is the product completely useless, I got suspicious and sent an email in case saying i did not want any further shipments. I did receive confirmation no further orders will be sent but was told I had to return the product or be charged the full amount, however no where is there any info as to full coat of the product or I could keep for a "deep" discount of 39.95! No information was given as to how or where to return this item or who pays for return shipping on an unsatisfactory product.! This is a complete scam and misleading marketing. I have read other complaints and am completely infuriated. I expect a satisfactory answer. I will also notify Facebook who posted the ad
the product is abella mayfair wrinkle cream
I ordered a trial sample of anti wrinkle cream from my computer, advertised for $13.49 on december 28/16 and purchased it on my credit card and i just received my bill and i was charged $134.92. Not only that but they shipped a second tube on january 16/17 without me ordering it and charged me another $134.92 plus shipping. I demand a refund immediately. These are unauthorized purchases stolen from my account. What a rip off

I would of liked an honest chance to try and review this product but became very upset with trying to get answers and pretty much ignored even with phone calls to the company with at least 20 hang ups.

abella mayfair
I have contacted your company to no avail. i saw your offer on the computer and considered doing it. Instead of pursuing it i backed out of the offer on the computer. I noticed on my bank account today January 26/16 that you took $134.91 out of my account, on further checking we noticed you also took out $5.45 earlier in January. I have NOT received ANYTHING. Nor do I want anything. I called your company and they say until I send back the product they claim I received, they will not refund my monies. I work 8-5 every day, I don't care if they say the mail was delivered, I didn't receive it, and I am not a liar and don't appreciate being called one. I didn't receive anything.
My name is Brenda Leflar [protected] in Lethbridge, Alberta. I will be pursuing this with the Better Business Bureau and whoever else I have to if I don't get my money back. Your a rip off company.
You say to avoid using CAPS letters or abusive language, obviously you have had a problem or problems.
products - trying to get to talk to someone about returning my creams
I have been calling and every time I have either been put on hold with no one answering the call and have left 4 messages with no replies. I am trying to return my creams due to reactions on my face. I have yet to have anyone call me. It's been 2 weeks I have tried calling again and have had my calls dropped. Getting very frustrated with this companies customer service and would like my Refund submitted back to me. If someone could please help me resolve this issue I would be greatful .
I too have been trying to call left messages and no one has called back and I have been home and checked my phone NOTHING!
abella mayfair 90 second wrinkle control + maximum moister scam
I signed up for a free trial of 90 second wrinkle control product on December 6, 2016 and paid $3.95 for so called shipment fee. On top of that order the company charged me additional $4.95 shipment fee for a maximum moister product, that i never ordered, and shipped both products to me in one box! and 14 days later on December 21 and 23 they charged for them $99.95 and $89.95 accordingly. Then, they charged me again on January 6 and 7th for those 2 new products and shipped them separately. First of all, i never ordered moisturizer, and second of all, they charged me too early. According to their policy, they will send me the product 30 days after they charge me for the first time, and they charged me 2 weeks later again, on January 6 and &? First they charged, then they shipped. And the charges on credit card appear from two different companies, dewskin and pearlskin? And strangely enough, Abella Mayfair does not provide you with any account number of yours?! This free trail scam is the trick the get to know your visa number, so they can bill you for the product you have never ordered and bill for additional product before they even allowed, according to their policy. It says, they can ship and charge you again for a new supply 30 days after the first charges. And they charged again after 2 weeks. And now they closed their website for so called new customers, in order to serve the old ones. The SCAM of the century!
cantact facebook and lodge complaint with them, maybe help get it off theirservice, i have same problemand credit company says they can not legally hold or reverse charges, just try to cancell contract, no phone or web site ? CANCELL YOUR CREDIT CARD, FINAL ANSWER
maximum moisture
The product is advertised as a free trial and you pay only the shipping charges.
When you submit the order, you are shown only the $4.95 in shipping charges. Order form does not say that clicking on submit provide authorization for any other subsequent charges.
The email confirmation that is sent also only shows the $4.95.
It has to be illegal for a company to apply charges to your credit card when you did not explicitly receive notification nor provide approval.

If you were like me, you ordered the free trial offer. Trial means a test of the performance, qualities, or suitability of someone or something. How can you try it if you do not open it? I ordered the free trial, after going thru tons of offers and declining each one to get all their products at reduced rates. I don't want to order something or more until I have tried it. My account was debited the shipping and handling. If anything, their advertising is misleading, as it states a free trial and only pay for shipping and handling. Then my account was debited another $139. I called the company and was told that the free trial was only for a couple of weeks, if I did not return the product by then, I was charged for it ! Grrrrrr. I told them to cancel anything they had in my name and to refund me immediately or I was having the charges reversed at my bank. I was told it would take 2 - 4 business days. I told them I will give them 4 days, then I go to my bank and have the charges reversed. I received an email that day that my subscription had been cancelled. I received another email stating my account would be credited the amount of $90 and another email I would be credited the amount of $89. I have two more days until the 4 days are up, so it they refund me good, if they do not, I will reverse the charges. Don't know how companies think this is a good system to run a business. Obviously the product is not that great that they need to force it on us.
